RapidLED R9996-S-BK User manual

Read installation instructions carefully before installing.
This product may contain substances that can be hazardous to the environment if not disposed of properly.
Electrical and electronic equipment should never be disposed of with general household waste but must be
separated for its correct treatment and recovery. Where possible recycle your packaging.
It is recommended that luminaires are installed / maintained by a fully qualified electrician and wired in accordance to the latest IEC standards or national
equivalent.
Mains power must be switched off during any installation or maintenance.
Do not install the luminaire near any heat source.
Do not exceed the nominal supply voltage or amperage ratings.
Make sure the wires have been properly connected before powering on the device.
Non-user replaceable light source - when light sources reaches it's end of life, module must be replaced.
The luminaire should be positioned so that prolonged staring into the luminaire at a distance closer than 0.3m is not expected.
Risk of fire - required clearance from structural members and building elements as stated below.
Do not use for high risk task area lighting.
Proof against supply voltage polarity reversal.
Reinforced insulation between the supply and the battery circuit.
Recharging device will recharge the battery normally after recharging device operated at 1,1 times rated supply voltage and the maximum of the declared ambient
temperature range with the batteries disconnected and replaced by a short circuit link.

Remove the cover using a flat blade screwdriver, 1.
release the clip by turning to the left
INSTALLATION
PICTOGRAM REPLACEMENT
Remove the frame and acrylic panel1.
by using a flat blade screwdriver
2. Take out the pictogram and install the one required 3. Clip the panel to the housing
2. The top cover can then be removed by sliding it away.
The cover MUST BE mounted prior to attaching to the body
3. Mount cover and connect wiring terminals 4. Battery switch is set to disconnect as factory default.
Make sure the battery is connected
5. Assemble the product by sliding the body into place 6. Lock the clip by turning to the right

3. Knock out the holes for screwing and AC wiring 4. Mount cover to the wall and connect wiring to terminals
