Tools needed: Drill, 5/16”-screw bit, Phillips screw bit, crescent wrench, 3/4” hole saw, socket set, trim removal
tools, wire puller
Mount radio bracket on a solid,
steady surface
Use suppled screws or bolts and nuts
Mount the mic clip on a solid, steady
surface that is easily accessible for the
user
Secure with supplied screws
Make sure the mic is free and clear of
buttons and levers

Attach positive
(red) and
negative (black)
wires to a
constant 12 volts
and properly
cleaned ground
Drill a ¾” hole in the center of the roof
Clean paint off the edge of the hole for
proper grounding
If an ignition kit is
used, attach it to
a known 12-
volt
ignition point

Install coax though the ¾” hole. Leave
some slack for future service.
Assemble O-ring and brass ring
onto the large antenna base.
Tighten with a crescent
wrench.
Attach antenna to the roof
mount and snug with a
crescent wrench

Notes:
- If using a gain antenna make sure it is cut to your
frequency.
- Coax connectors require the proper install tools for
the correct installation. If you would like to purchase the
tools please contact us.
- There is also a tool to cut and remove the antenna
hole and paint. If you would like to purchase this tool
please contact us.
