1.Product Description:
REVAC is for the purpose of making announcements, conveying information
and messages needed in a particular location or zone. This find, wide
application in large areas like Hotels, Offices, Hospitals, Factories, commercial
complexes, Airports, Education Institutions and Auditoriums. The consoles
comes in a range begins from 16 Zone Expandable upto 128 zones with
multiplication of 16zones. This console is user friendly system with option of
zone selection for individual zone announcement and common announcement
through microphones.

Suppressed Events
From the Suppressed Fault Event program screen, By pressing
the “Enter” key the system enters into the Suppressed Fault
Event. In this mode the suppressed fault events can be viewed

sequentially using the right / left arrow keys during zone output
is ON condition. After entering the suppressed fault events,
screen will be as below. The Suppressed event will be amplifier
power fault, Zone Faults.

Mode
Mode Selection is selected by using the cursor key, then
Enter Key to choose the mode. The REVAC has Four types of
mode namely Alarm, MIC, Music & DVA. In this modes
Display as shown below.

Alarm Mode:
The alarm mode shall be selected manually from keypad or
automatically through the RE – 900 via RS485. If the alarm mode is
selected manually then the corresponding zone to be select to
give alarm. The selected zone and mode shall be identified by
corresponding LED’s and also shown in LCD.
If there is a Fault, LCD screen display will be shown below.

In System Healthy screen the LCD display will be

Mic Mode:
The MIC mode is used to announce the invitation / some
messages / information to particular zone by selecting that
particular zone with continuation of MIC mode switch. If the MIC
mode is selected manually then the corresponding zone to be
select to give alarm. The selected zone and mode shall be
identified by corresponding LED’s and also shown in LCD.
If there is a Fault , LCD screen display will be shown below.

Where “M” represents in Mic mode.
In Normal System Healthy screen the LCD display will be
MICMode
System Healthy
Note: If the Alarm signal is received from FACP via RS485, then
REVAC automatically changes to alarm mode with corresponding
Zone.
Music Mode:
The Music mode is used to Play Music file that connected via DVD
I/P, information to particular zone by selecting that particular zone
with continuation of Music mode switch. If the Music mode is
selected manually then the corresponding zone to be select to

give alarm. The selected zone and mode shall be identified by
corresponding LED’s and also shown in LCD.
If there is a Fault , LCD screen display will be shown below.

DVA Mode:
The DVA mode is used to Play Recorded Messages, information to
particular zone by selecting that particular zone with continuation
of DVA mode switch. If the DVA mode is selected manually then
the corresponding zone to be select to give alarm. The selected
zone and mode shall be identified by corresponding LED’s and
also shown in LCD.
If there is a Fault , LCD screen display will be shown below.

Alarm DVA
Alarm DVA is selected by pressing the no ‘3 ‘ from the menu
screen. The LCD Display will be shown below.

D – Disable ; E- Enable
Press Left / Right Key to Enable / Disable the Alarm DVA.
Note:-
If Alarm DVA is in Disable mode, then if any fire is detected
wailing tone will played
If Alarm DVA is in Enable mode, then if any fire is detected
Recorded Message will played
Program
Access to programming is possible only by Admin password
(Default Password – 54321).
By selecting the number 4 from the menu screen, system enters
into the program mode. We can Record a voice and Erase a
voice in this mode.
A)Record.
By pressing the number 1 from the Program screen, the we can
record a voice. The time delay range is 1 to 60 Seconds. The LCD
Display shows as follows.

B) Erase
By pressing the number 2 from the Program screen, then we can
erase record a voice. The LCD Display shows as follows.

Advanced
Access to advanced is possible only by Advanced password
(Default Password – 654321).
By selecting the number 5 from the menu screen, system enters
into the advanced mode. Here there are two sub headings Set
Slave & Configure are available.

From this menu, by entering ‘ENTER’ key, system enters into the

Ravel Electronics warrants each product to be free from defects in material and
workmanship. This obligation is limited to servicing or part returned to the company for that
purpose and making good any parts thereof which shall be within warranty period, returned
to the company under a written intimation and which to the company’s satisfaction to be
found defective. The company reserves the right to decide the workplace for the repair work.
The freight for defective material will have to be borne by the purchaser, and the transit risk
for such material will rest with the purchaser.
This warranty will last for a period of 12 months from the date of Invoice of the
product from the factory. The warranty is applicable only if the product is used within its
specifications. The warranty for the replaced components will lapse along with that of the
main product.
THIS WARRANTY IS VALID UP TO: 12 months from the date of invoice
