3. SETTING UP YOUR RAZER BLADE
Connect the Power Adapter as follows:
M ke sure th t the AC plug is properly inserted into the power outlet nd the power
d pter. An indic tor will light up to show th t the d pter is receiving ppropri te
power. Insert the power d pter’s connector into the R zer Bl de’s power port.
Press the power button to turn on your R zer Bl de.
For first time use, ple se fully ch rge your R zer Bl de or connect it to power
outlet before turning it on. It t kes pproxim tely 3 hours to fully ch rge the R zer
Bl de.

CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET

2. Turn on wireless by clicking the Wi-Fi button on the bottom left corner of this
window. The system will utom tic lly se rch for wireless networks in r nge.

3. Click the network you wish to connect to nd click Conn ct.

4. Enter the network p ssword (if ny) nd select whether to en ble network
sh ring. Click N xt.
5. Once you re connected to the wireless network, click nywhere outside the
window to return to the desktop.

R zer Syn pse llows you to sync your R zer Bl de nd other supported R zer
peripher ls to cloud server to downlo d driver nd firmw re upd tes. You will lso
be ble to configure the Switchbl de User Interf ce, key bindings, profiles, m cros,
b cklighting nd more within the pplic tion. In ddition, R zer Syn pse will llow
you to immedi tely register your product nd get re l-time inform tion on your
product’s w rr nty st tus. All your custom settings will be stored in the cloud too.
1. R zer Syn pse will st rt utom tic lly once you enter Windows.
2. Register for R zer ID nd confirm your new ccount.
3. Open R zer Syn pse nd login to your ccount.
4. W it until Syn pse utom tic lly downlo ds nd inst lls the necess ry
drivers.

KEYBOARD FUNCTION KEYS
Function Keys To ctiv te the fe tures below, press the ‘Fn’ key nd the
respective key.
The udio volume controls llow you to mute ( ), decre se
( ) nd incre se ( ) the udio output.
Toggles the monitor output.
The medi keys llow you to pl y/p use ( ) tr ck or skip
tr cks b ckw rd ( ) nd forw rd ( ).
The screen brightness keys llow you to customize the brightness
of the screen.
The Switchbl de User Interf ce nd key b cklight c n be
customized to your preference.

5. SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
SAFETY GUIDELINES
In order to chieve m ximum s fety while using your R zer Bl de, we suggest th t
you dopt the following guidelines:
1. Should you h ve trouble oper ting the device properly nd troubleshooting
does not work, unplug the device nd cont ct the R zer hotline or go to
www.r zersupport.com for support. Do not ttempt to service or fix the
device yourself t ny time.
3. Do not t ke p rt the device (doing so will void your w rr nty) nd do not
ttempt to oper te it under bnorm l current lo ds.
4. Keep the device w y from liquid, humidity or moisture. Oper te the device
only within the specific temper ture r nge of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F).
Should the temper ture exceed this r nge, unplug nd switch off the device in
order to let the temper ture st bilize to n optim l level.
COMFORT
Rese rch h s shown th t long periods of repetitive motion, improper positioning of
your computer peripher ls, incorrect body position, nd poor h bits m y be
ssoci ted with physic l discomfort nd injury to nerves, tendons, nd muscles.
Below re some guidelines to void injury nd ensure optimum comfort while using
your R zer Bl de.
1. Position your l ptop directly in front of you. If you h ve n extern l mouse,
position it next to the l ptop. Pl ce your elbows next to your side, not too f r
w y nd your mouse within e sy re ch.
2. Adjust the height of your ch ir nd t ble so th t the l ptop is t or below
elbow height.
3. Keep your feet well supported, posture str ight nd your shoulders rel xed.

4. During g mepl y, rel x your wrist nd keep it str ight. If you do the s me
t sks with your h nds repe tedly, try not to bend, extend or twist your h nds
for long periods.
5. Do not rest your wrists on h rd surf ces for long periods. When using n
extern l mouse, use wrist rest to support your wrist while g ming.
6. Do not sit in the s me position ll d y. Get up, step w y from your desk nd
do exercises to stretch your rms, shoulders, neck nd legs.
7. If you should experience ny physic l discomfort while using your l ptop, such
s p in, numbness, or tingling in your h nds, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck
or b ck, ple se consult qu lified medic l doctor immedi tely.
BATTERY
The R zer Bl de cont ins n intern l, lithium-ion polymer rech rge ble b ttery. In
gener l, the life expect ncy of such b tteries is dependent upon us ge. He vy d ily
us ge use will result in shorter b ttery life. C su l use will extend b ttery life. If you
suspect th t the lithium-ion rech rge ble b ttery inside the R zer Bl de m y be
dr ined (h s low ch rge), try ch rging it. If the b ttery does not rech rge fter
sever l ttempts, it m y be non-oper tion l. Dispose of b tteries ccording to your
loc l environment l l ws nd guidelines.
