SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR RAZER EDGE
Every device c mes with its wn set f safety guidelines. Here’s what we rec mmend f r y ur Razer
Edge.
Hardware
Only use the access ries included with y ur device, and nly purchase access ries made
and/ r appr ved by Razer.
If y ur device’s screen gets br ken r cracked, appr ach a qualified servicing pers nnel f r
repair.
Y ur device’s screen is designed t resp nd t light taps and butt n presses. D n’t excessively
tap the screen r press any f its butt ns with unnecessary f rce.
If y u enc unter pr blems using y ur device and tr ublesh ting fails, unplug it, and c ntact
the Razer h tline r visit supp rt.razer.c m f r assistance. D n’t service r fix the device n
y ur wn. This will v id y ur warranty.
Usage
Use y ur device in an envir nment with temperatures ranging fr m 0°C (32°F) t 40°C (104°F).
Sh uld temperatures exceed this range, unplug and/ r switch ff y ur device and let the
temperature return t an ptimal range.
The Razer Edge is made f r entertainment. H wever, d n te that d wnl ading/upl ading an
excessive number f files, streaming nline c ntent, enabling y ur device’s GPS r l cati n,
and ther similar data services, may incur excessive data charges.
Traffic laws are imp rtant. D n’t use y ur device when driving.
D n’t use y ur device when d ing any activity that requires awareness f y ur surr undings,
like walking r j gging.
Av id using r turn ff y ur device in areas that pr hibit its usage such as aircrafts, gas line
stati ns, r theaters.
Water and Dust
The Razer Edge is rated up t IP52. It is dustpr f and designed t withstand sh rt and minimal
immersi ns in water at minimal depths.
D n’t immerse y ur device in h t water r in any kind f liquid such as, but n t limited t : sea r salt
water, p l water, and alc h lic beverages.

Sh uld y ur device get wet dry it th r ughly with a s ft, dry cl th. Ensure y ur device and USB-C p rt
is fully dry bef re attempting t charge y ur device again and/ r rem ve y ur SD card tray.
Please n te that damages caused by sand and/ r liquid will n t be c vered by the warranty.
Battery Warning
The Razer Edge c ntains an internal, lithium-i n p lymer rechargeable battery. In general, the life
expectancy f this battery depends up n its usage. If the battery d es n t charge after several
attempts, it may be n n- perati nal, and y u may need t c ntact cust mer supp rt. D n’t attempt
t replace the battery y urself.
D n’t pen, mutilate, r exp se t c nducting materials (metal), m isture, liquid, fire, r heat. D ing
s may cause the battery t leak r expl de, resulting in pers nal injury. D n’t use r charge the
battery if it is leaking, disc l red, r def rmed.
D n’t leave the battery discharged r unused f r extended peri ds. When n t using y ur Razer Edge
f r m re than 30 days, st re the device in a fully charged state. This will prevent damage t the
battery due t an verly discharged state.

all tted Type C c nnect r. D n’t f rcefully jam y ur device int the c ntr ller.
D n’t take apart the device (d ing s will v id y ur warranty) and d n’t attempt t perate it under
abn rmal current l ads.
Keep the device away fr m liquid, humidity r m isture. Operate the device nly within the specific
temperature range f 0°C (32°F) t 40°C (104°F). Sh uld the temperature exceed this range, unplug
and/ r switch ff the device in rder t let the temperature stabilize t an ptimal level.
