1. Read and keep these instructions. Heed all warnings and follow all Instructions.
2. Do not use this apparatus near water.
3. Clean only with dry cloth.
4. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions. Do not install this equipment in a confined or “boxed-in” space such as
a bookcase or similar unit, and maintain good ventilation conditions. The ventilation
should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as
newspaper, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
5. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Do not place exposed flame
sources such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
6. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.A polarized
plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two
blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for
your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
7. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
8. Only use attachment/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
9. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of
time.
10. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when
the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug
is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has
been dropped.
11. Power Sources : This product should be connected to a power supply only of the type
described in these operating instructions, or as marked on the unit.
12. Internal/External Voltage Selectors : Internal or external voltage selector switches, if
any, should only be reset and re-equipped with a proper plug for alternative voltage
by a qualified service technician. Do not attempt to alter this yourself.
13. Water and Moisture :This product should be kept away from direct contact with liquids.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled
with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
14. Protective earthing terminal : The apparatus should be connected to a mains socket
outlet with a protective earthing connection.

15. When moving or not using the appliance, secure the power cord (e.g., wrap it with a
cable tie). Be careful not to damage the power cord. Before using it again, make sure
the power cord has not been damaged. If the power cord has been damaged at all,
bring the unit and cord to a qualified service technician for repair or replacement as
specified by the manufacturer.
• Disconnect power cord before servicing.
• Replace critical components. only with factory parts or recommended equivalents.
• For AC line powered units: Before returning repaired unit to user, use an ohmmeter to
measure from both AC plug blades to all exposed metal parts. The resistance should be
more than 2,000,000 ohms.

To prevent the occurrence of noise on line signal cables, use screened cables only and avoid
putting them close to:
- Equipment that produces high-intensity electromagnetic fields
- Power cables
- Loudspeaker lines.
The equipments considered in this manual can be used in electromagnetic
environment E1 to E3 as specified on EN 55103-1/2: 2009.

REAR
PANEL
1XLR and JACKTRS STEREO INPUT (BAL / UNBAL). The system accepts JACKTRS or XLR
input connectors. These balanced inputs can be used to connect balanced or unbalanced
line level audio sources.
2RCA INPUT (UNBAL). The system accepts RCA input connectors. These unbalanced
inputs can be used to connect unbalanced audio sources at line level.
3STEREO XLR OUTPUTS (BAL). Balanced stereo outputs for connecting the monitors
adopted in the system. The studio monitors connected to these outputs are subject to the
action of the high pass filter (CROSSOVER KNOB - 6).
4PHASE SWITCH. This switch allows you to reverse the phase of the input signal by
180°; useful, in some cases, to correct an imperfect positioning of AYRA PRO10 SUB
compared to the connected monitors.
5INPUT VOLUME. This potentiometer adjusts the input level to the AYRA PRO10 SUB
subwoofer.
6CROSSOVER KNOB. This potentiometer allows you to select the crossover frequency
between the AYRA PRO10 SUB subwoofer and the connected monitors. The adjustment
allows cutting frequencies from 50Hz to 120Hz, allowing the subwoofer to reproduce the
selected low frequencies.
7BYPASS FOOTSWITCH. Connect an unlatch footswitch to this TS jack to bypass the
subwoofer function. When the subwoofer is bypassed the signal flows from stereo inputs
to stereo outputs bypassing also the crossover control. Press again the footswitch to
restore the subwoofer function.
8MAIN POWER SWITCH. The power switch turns the AC power on and off.

The XLR connectors use the following AES standard:

AYRA PRO10 SUB has a universal internal power supply with a mains voltage selector. The
switch allows you to select the mains voltage with which to power the AYRA PRO10 SUB
subwoofer. With the switch positioned on the right, a mains voltage of 220 / 240V ~ 50-
60Hz is selected, with the switch positioned on the left the selected mains voltage will be
90 / 110V ~ 50-60Hz.
On the rear panel there are also the input and output level controls.
Insert the power connector and the signal connector, but before turning on the speaker,
make sure to select the power supply voltage corresponding to that of the country where
the device is used, and that the volume control is at minimum on both the speaker and
the sound source connected to the speakers; it is also important that the sound source is
already on when the speaker connected to it is turned on.
These two precautions will prevent you from: first turning on the speakers in the presence
of strong input signals (avoiding causing damage to the speaker itself but above all to
people in front of it), also avoiding the annoying “bump ”caused by the switching on of
the audio equipment upstream of the speakers. In fact it is a good rule that the amplified
speakers and amplifiers in general are always the last equipment to be turned on and the
first to be switched off at the end of their use.
At this point you can turn on the speaker and raise the level control up to the marker line
on the scale between “0” and “MAX”, and then correct the level as needed.

9MAINS VOLTAGE SELECTOR. This switch allows you to select the mains voltage with
which to power the AYRA PRO10 SUB subwoofer. With the switch on the right, select a
mains voltage at 220 / 240V ~ 50-60Hz, with the switch on the left position, the selected
supply voltage will be 90 / 110V ~ 50-60Hz. IMPORTANT: before use select the correct
mains voltage corresponding to the one that conforms to the country in which it will be
used.

4. Ne pas obstruer les orifices de ventilation. Installer conformément aux instructions
du fabricant. Cet appareilne doit pas être installé dans un endroit confiné tel qu’une
bibliothèque ou un meuble fermé. Veillez à ce que la ventilation soit adéquate. Veillez
à ne pas bloquer les orifices de ventilation avec des journaux, nappes, rideaux, etc.
5. Ne pas installer près des sources de chaleur telles que radiateurs, les registres de
chaleur, poêles ou autres appareils (et compris les amplificateurs) qui génèrent de la
chaleur. Ne pas placer de sources de flammes nues telles que des chandelles allumées
sur l’appareil.
6. Ne pas casser l’élément de sécurité de la fiche polarisée ou de mise à la terre. Une
fiche polarisée est dotée de deux lames, une étant plus large que l’autre. Une fiche de
mise à la terre est dotée de deux lames et d’une broche de mise à la terre. La lame plus
large ou la troisième broche est pour votre sécurité. Si la fiche ne s’insère pas dans la
prise murale, consulter un électricien pour qu’il vienne remplacer la prise adéquate.
7. Protéger le cable d’alimentation de sorte à ne pas pouvoir marcher dessus ou à coincer
les fiches au niveau des connexions et au point de sortie de l’appareil.
8. N’utiliser que des accessoires recommandés par le fabricant.
9. Débrancher l’appareil durant les orages ou lorsque non utilisé pendant de longues
périodes.
10. Confier la réparation à du personnel technique qualifié. Faire réparer lorsque l’appareil
est endommagé; lorsque le cable oula fiche d’alimentation est endommagé, lorsqu’on
a renversé du liquide ou si des objets sont tombés dans l’appareil, lorsque l’appareil a
été exposé à de la pluie ou à de l’humidité,si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas normalement,
ou lorsqu’il est tombé.
11. Sources d’alimentation : Cet appareil doit être alimenté uniquement par le type de
source de courant indiqué dans le guide d’utilisation, ou tel qu’indiqué sur le produit.
12. Sélecteurs de tension interne/externe : Les sélecteurs de tension interne ou externe, s’il
y en a, doivent être réinitialisés et équipés avec une fiche adéquate par un technicien
qualifié. Ne jamais tenter de modifier ceci vous-même.
13. Eau et humidité : Ce produit dot être placé loin du contact direct avec des liquides.
L’appareil ne doit pas être exposé à graisse ou gouttes et les objets remplis, comme
les vases ne doivent être placés sur l’appareil.
14. Borne de terre de protection : Par mesure de sécurité, l’appareil doit être branché à
une prise decourant comprenant une borne de mise à la terre.
15. Veillez à toujours fixer le cable d’alimentation lors du déplacement de l’appareil ou
lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.Veillez à ne pas endommager le cable d’alimentation.Vérifiez
toujours le cable d’alimentation avant d’utiliser l’appareil.Si lecable d’alimentation est
endommagé de quelconque façon, faites vérifier l’appareil et le cable d’alimentation
par un technicien qualifié recommandé par le fabricant afin de les faire réparer ou
replacer.
• Déconnectez l’appareil avant le service.
• Remplacez les components seulement avec des components de la fabrique ou avec
des équivalents recommandés.
• Pour les unités AC (courant alternatif), avant de retourner l’unité réparé, utilisez un
ohmmètre pour mesurer la résistance d’isolement (mesure entre les 2 broches de la
prise de courant). La résistance devrait être supérieure à 2.000.000 ohms.

1. Leggere e conservare queste istruzioni. Prestare attenzione a tutti gli avvertimenti e

2. Non utilizzare questo apparecchio in vicinanza di acqua.
3. Pulire solo con un panno asciutto.
4. Non bloccare alcuna apertura di ventilazione. Installare secondo le istruzioni del
produttore. Non installare questa apparecchiatura in spazi confinati o “incassati”
come una libreria o un’unità simile e mantenere buone condizioni di ventilazione. La
ventilazione non dovrebbe essere impedita coprendo le aperture di ventilazione con

5. Non installare vicino a fonti di calore come radiatori, diffusori di aria calda, stufe o

forniti per la vostra sicurezza. Se la spina fornita non si adatta alla presa, consultare
un elettricista per la sostituzione della presa obsoleta.
7. Proteggere il cavo di alimentazione dall’essere calpestato o schiacciato, in particolare
in prossimità di spine, prese e nel punto in cui esce dall’apparecchio.
8. Utilizzare solo accessori / accessori specificati dal produttore.
9. Scollegare l’apparecchio durante i temporali o quando non viene utilizzato per lunghi
periodi di tempo.
10. Rivolgersi a personale di assistenza qualificato per tutti gli interventi di manutenzione.
La manutenzione è necessaria quando l’apparecchio è stato danneggiato in qualsiasi
modo, come in presenza di cavo di alimentazione o spina danneggiati, liquido
versato o oggetti caduti nell’apparecchio; apparecchio esposto a pioggia o umidità,
apparecchio non funzionante o abbandonato.
11. Fonti di alimentazione: questo prodotto deve essere collegato a un alimentatore solo
del tipo descritto in queste istruzioni operative o come indicato sull’unità.
12. Selettori di tensione interni / esterni : I selettori di tensione interni o esterni, se presenti,
devono essere ripristinati e riattrezzati con una spina adeguata per la tensione
alternata da un tecnico qualificato. Non tentare di alterare questo autonomamente.
13. Acqua e umidità: questo prodotto deve essere tenuto lontano dal contatto diretto con
liquidi. L’apparecchio non deve essere esposto a gocciolamenti o schizzi e non deve
essere posto sull’apparecchio alcun oggetto pieno di liquidi, come vasi o bicchieri.
14. Terminale di messa a terra di protezione : l’apparecchio deve essere collegato a una
presa di rete con un collegamento di messa a terra di protezione.
15. Quando si sposta o non si utilizza l’apparecchio, fissare il cavo di alimentazione (ad
es. avvolgerlo con una fascetta per cavi). Fare attenzione a non danneggiare il cavo
di alimentazione. Prima di riutilizzarlo, assicurarsi che il cavo di alimentazione non sia
stato danneggiato. Se il cavo di alimentazione è stato danneggiato, portare l’unità e
il cavo a un tecnico qualificato per la riparazione o la sostituzione secondo quanto
specificato dal produttore.
• Scollegare il cavo di alimentazione prima di eseguire la manutenzione.
• Sostituire i componenti critici solo con parti di fabbrica o equivalenti raccomandati.
• Per le unità con alimentazione in corrente alternata: prima di restituire l’unità riparata
all’utente, utilizzare un ohmetro per misurare sia le spine della spina CA che tutte le
parti metalliche esposte. La resistenza dovrebbe essere superiore a 2.000.000 ohm.

Per evitare fenomeni di rumorosità indotta sui cavi che trasportano segnali dai microfoni o
di linea (per esempio 0dB), usare solo cavi schermati ed evitare di posarli nelle vicinanze di:

- linee che alimentano altoparlanti.
Gli apparati considerati nel presente manuale sono idonei per essere utilizzati in

D’USO
TENSIONE PERICOLOSA: il simbolo del lampo con punta a freccia all’interno del triangolo
equilatero serve ad avvisare l’utente della presenza di “tensioni pericolose” non isolate
all’interno del contenitore del prodotto che possono essere di ampiezze sufficienti a
costituire un rischio di scossa elettrica.

GENERALE
AYRA PRO10 SUB è un subwoofer monitor di riferimento da studio progettato per
applicazioni professionali, ma ugualmente adatto al tuo studio di registrazione casalingo. Il
subwoofer AYRA PRO10 SUB dispone di un potente woofer in composito da 10” dotato di
bobina mobile da 2,5” a doppio strato pilotato da un amplificatore True Active 300W-RMS
ClassD.
AYRA PRO10 SUB è ottimizzato per offrire il miglior suono per una varietà di applicazioni.
Sia che tu stia lavorando con un mix nearfield nel tuo studio o una regia broadcast, o
semplicemente hai bisogno di ottimi diffusori per il tuo sistema di intrattenimento domestico,
avrai bisogno di un suono definito e potente. Grazie alle porte bass reflex frontali, AYRA
PRO10 SUB dirige la porzione maggiore di energia in avanti, lontano dalle pareti posteriori.

1INGRESSI STEREO XLR (BAL / UNBAL), JACK TRS. Il sistema accetta connettori di
ingresso JACK TRS o XLR. Questi ingressi bilanciati possono essere utilizzati per collegare
sorgenti audio bilanciate o sbilanciate a livello di linea.
2RCA INPUT (UNBAL). Il sistema accetta connettori di ingresso RCA. Questi ingressi
sbilanciati possono essere utilizzati per collegare sorgenti audio sbilanciate a livello di linea.
3USCITE STEREO XLR (BAL). Uscite bilanciate stereo destinate al collegamento dei
monitor adottati nel sistema. Gli studio monitor collegati a queste uscite subiscono l’azione
del filtro passa alto (CROSSOVER KNOB – 6).
4PHASE SWITCH. Questo switch permette di rovesciare di 180° la fase del segnale in
ingresso; utile, in qualche caso, per correggere un non perfetto posizionamento di AYRA
PRO10 SUB rispetto ai monitor collegati.
5VOLUME IN INGRESSO. Questo potenziometro regola il livello in ingresso al subwoofer
AYRA PRO10 SUB.
6CROSSOVER KNOB. Questo potenziometro permette di selezionare la frequenza di
incrocio tra il subwoofer AYRA PRO10 SUB e i monitor collegati. La regolazione permette
un taglio di frequenze da 50Hz a 120Hz, consentendo al subwoofer di riprodurre le basse
frequenze selezionate.
7BYPASS FOOTSWITCH. Connettere a questo jack TS un pedale switch unlatch
(monostabile) per bypassare la funzione subwoofer. Quando il subwoofer è bypassato il
segnale passa direttamente dagli ingressi stereo alle uscite stereo bypassando anche il
controllo di crossover. Premere nuovamente lo switch a pedale per ristabilire la funzione
subwoofer.
8INTERRUTTORE GENERALE DI ALIMENTAZIONE. L’interruttore di alimentazione accende
e spegne l’alimentazione CA.

Il connettore di ingresso XLR segue il seguente standard AES:
PIN 1 = TERRA (GROUND ; SHIELD)
PIN 2 = LATO CALDO (HOT ; +)
PIN 3 = LATO FREDDO (COLD ; -)
CONNESSIONI
AYRA PRO10 SUB dispone di un alimentatore interno universale con selettore della
tensione di alimentazione. Lo switch consente di selezionare la tensione di rete con cui
alimentare il subwoofer AYRA PRO10 SUB. Con lo switch posizionato a destra, si seleziona
una tensione di rete a 220/240V~ 50-60Hz, con lo switch posizionato a sinistra la tensione
di alimentazione selezionata sarà 90/110V~ 50-60Hz.

Sul pannello posteriore trovano posto anche tutti i controlli, gli ingressi, le uscite di segnale
e di alimentazione.

Potete inserire il connettore di alimentazione e il connettore di segnale, ma prima di
accendere il diffusore assicuratevi di selezionare la tensione di alimentazione corrispondente
a quella del paese di utilizzo del dispositivo, che il controllo di volume sia al minimo sia
sul diffusore che sulla sorgente sonora collegata al diffusore; è importante anche che la
sorgente sonora sia già accesa al momento in cui viene acceso il diffusore a lui collegato.
Queste due precauzioni vi eviteranno innanzitutto di accendere i diffusori in presenza di
elevati segnali in ingresso (evitando di causare danni al diffusore stesso ma soprattutto alle
persone che vi si possono trovare davanti), evitando inoltre di far arrivare agli altoparlanti
e agli ascoltatori fastidiosi “bump” causati dall’accensione delle apparecchiature audio
a monte dei diffusori. Infatti è buona regola che i diffusori amplificati e gli amplificatori
in genere siano sempre le ultime apparecchiature ad essere accese e le prime ad essere
spente alla fine del loro utilizzo.
A questo punto potete accendere il diffusore e alzare il controllo di livello fino alla linea
marcatrice presente sulla scala tra “0” e “MAX”, per poi correggere successivamente il
livello a seconda delle necessità.
