DEsCRiptioN
This ceiling speaker is equipped with 2 loudspeakers as well
as with 2 transformers. This cabinet speaker enables space
saving A/B division and wiring of the required alarming lou-
dspeakers through IEC 60849.
Another advantage regarding the usual A/B wiring (2 built-in
speakers) is the very low gauge level regarding the accor-
ding range, because in case of a line failure no under served
range will occur.
Of course this has a positive impact on speaking compre-
hensiveness and therefore on the efficiency and safety of
alarming signals.
Please consider the following features:
• Redundant dimensioning in a high-quality and moun-
tingfriendly cabinet.
• 2 pieces high-power 4˝ oval wide band chassis and 2
high-quality transmitters enable a secure A/B wiring.
• Thespeakerhasaninstallationdepthofabout115mm
and is ready for a horizontal or vertical attachment of the
speakers.
• ItisavailableonallRALcoloursonrequest.

Dieser Einbaulautsprecher ist sowohl mit 2 Lautsprechern
wie auch mit 2 Übertragern bestückt und erlaubt damit auf
platzsparende und elegante Weise eine A/B Aufteilung und
Verkabelung der geforderten Alarmierungs-Lautsprecher
nach DIN EN 60849/VDE 0828 und VDE 0833-4.
Ein weiterer Vorteil gegenüber der üblichen Verkabelung (2
Einbaulautsprecher) ist der geringere Pegelverlust in dem
entsprechenden Bereich, weil im Falle eines Leitungsaus-
falls kein unterversorgter Bereich entsteht.
Dies hat einen positiven Einfluss auf die Sprachverständlich-
keit und somit auf die Effizienz und Sicherheit der alarmie-
rende Signale.
Bitte beachten Sie die folgenden Merkmale:
• Redundante Auslegung in einem hochwertigen und
montagefreundlichen Gehäuse.
• 2Stückleistungsstarke5˝x3˝-Oval-Breitbandchassismit
Hochtonkegel und 2 hochwertige Übertrager ermögli-
chen eine sichere A/B Verkabelung.
• Dieser Lautsprecher hat eine Einbautiefe von ca. 115
mm und eignet sich zur horizontalen wie auch vertikalen
Wand- und Deckenmontage.

The necessary hole cut for the installation should have a
diameter of 204 mm ±5mm. The installation depth should
amounttoatleast100mm.
1. Removethemountingringoftheloudspeakerbyrelea-
sing the spring wires at both sides of the speaker.
2. Insertthe ringinto themounting holeand fixit byfirst
loosening the thumb screw, slipping down the mounting
bracketandthenfixthethumbscrewagain.
3. To connect the wires, it might be helpful to reconnect the
spring wires on one side of the fire dome.
4. Open the touch fastener of the loudspeaker and connect
the cables.
5. Connect the wires according to the connection dia-
grams.
6. Bring the clamps back into the bag and close the touch
fastener. Take care to close the touch fastener reliable,
especiallyatthecableexit!
7. Takecaretolaythecablesinawayyouseeinthepic-
ture. These guarantees that no water can flow into the
loudspeaker area.
8. Reconnectthespringwiresonthesecondsideofthefire
dome.
9. Push the loudspeaker firmly in direction of the installati-
on ring. The spring wires will hold the loudspeakers at its
final position.

To disassemble the speaker, go like described above in re-
verse order. To pull the speaker out of the installation ring
useathinwire(with a L-bend) fitting into the speaker grid
and pull it out.

1. Entfernen Sie den Montagering von dem Lautsprecher
durchLösenderSprungklammernaufbeidenSeiten.
2. LegenSiedenMontageringindieMontageöffnungund
befestigen Sie ihn, indem Sie zuerst die Flügelschrauben
lockern, die Halterung hinabschieben und dann die Flü-
gelschrauben nochmals festziehen.
3. Um die Kabel anzuschließen, ist es erforderlich, dass auf
einer Seite des Feuertopfs die Sprungklammer wieder
eingehängt wird.
4. Öffnen Sie den Klettverschluss der Abdeckhaube, um
die Kabel anzuschließen.
5. VerbindenSiedieKabelwieesimDiagrammaufgezeich-
net ist.
6. LegenSiedieKlemmenzurückindieAbdeckhaubeund
schließen Sie den Klettverschluss. Versichern Sie sich,
dass der Klettverschluss gut verschlossen ist, beson-
ders am Kabelausgang.
7. AchtenSiedarauf,dassSiedieKabelsolegen,wieesim
Bild aufgezeichnet ist. Dies garantiert Ihnen, dass kein
WasserindenLautsprecherbereicheindringenkann.
7. Hängen Sie nun die Sprungklammer auf der anderen
Seite des Feuertopfs ein.
8. DrückenSiedieLautsprecherfestinRichtungdesInstal-
lationsrings.DieSprungklammernwerdendieLautspre-
cher in ihrer endgültigen Position halten.
AusBAu
UmdieLautsprecherauszubauen, gehen Siebitteanhand
der Einbaubeschreibung vor, in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
Um die Lautsprecher aus dem Installationsring zu lösen,
verwendenSieeinedünneKlammer(mitL-Biegung).Führen
SiedieseindasLautsprechergittereinundziehendannden
Lautsprecherheraus.
