Thank you for purchasing the Ready2Talk JB 6
Portable PA system with Buddy Speaker.
The JB 6 was designed as a durable, high quality Portable PA System that is ready to use in
seconds. Perfect for daily use in leased and rental vehicles, or as a backup system when you
need a great sounding PA quickly, even outdoors. You can easily play music from your
phone through the built in Bluetooth receiver and the included Buddy Speaker will help you
project the sound across a broader area (e.g. from the back of the vehicle). You won’t have
any problems hearing the JB 6!

Microphone Operation (Microphone is not included)
1. Connect the JB 6 to a 12V power source using the included power plug. The power
LED on the JB 6 will glow red, indicating that it’s receiving power.
2. Connect any Ready2Talk microphone (wired or wireless) to the 4 pin mic socket,
noting the notch in the mic plug and the keyway in the mic socket.
3. Turn on the microphone, speak normally and adjust the “Mic Volume” knob on the JB 6
to your desired level.
Please Note: When using our wireless microphones, there will be a slight delay every time
the wireless mic is turned on, while the wireless mic auto pairs with the wireless receiver.
Playing Music from your device
1. Make sure the JB 6 is turned on.
2. Open your phones BT search mode and choose “Ready2Talk” to start the pairing.
3. When the power LED changes from red to blue, the JB 6 has paired with your phone.
4. Start your music on your phone at the lowest volume setting, then increase to your
desired level.
5. Now you can talk and play music at the same time.
Please Note: The volume knob on the JB 6 only controls microphone volume and your
phone controls the music volume.
Connecting the Buddy Speaker (using the included speaker wire)
1. Push the red spring tab on the JB 6 and insert the red wire into the terminal. Attach
the other end of the wire to the red terminal on the Buddy Speaker.
2. Repeat with the black terminals…
3. Now the Buddy Speaker will mirror what is being played by the JB 6.
Mounting
1. Firmly attach both mounting brackets to the vehicle using bolts or screws (mounting
bolts and screws are not included).
2. Attach both the JB 6 and Buddy Speaker to the brackets using the included thumb
screws. Ensure they are firmly tightened.

IMPORTANT: For safety, both the JB 6 and the Buddy Speaker must be securely mounted
to the vehicle, using the included brackets and thumb screws. Failure to do so may cause
serious harm or death to the driver and/or passengers, in the event of a vehicle collision!
Always confirm the mounting location will not damage the vehicle before drilling any holes. If
unsure, check with your vehicles dealer or professional accessory installer before proceeding!
What if the JB 6 is not working?
1. Ensure your vehicle is turned on and the power port is functioning.
2. Next, with the power plug inserted into the vehicles power port, is the red LED in the
plug on? If not, check the fuse in the tip of the power plug. Unscrew metal tip and
replace the AGC 5A glass fuse if needed. (Be careful not to lose the internal spring).
Replacements fuses can be found at many local auto part stores.
3. If the JB 6 is still not working, disconnect it from the power cable, wait 15 min. and
retry. This will reset the internal electronic fuses if previously triggered.
