OVERVIEW
The energizer may be used outdoors only in
conjunction with an electric fence to keep
animals in/out as required.
The animal receives a shock when it completes
the circuit between the fence and ground.
The fence consists of current-carrying wires
and requires conductive (wet) soils.
For poorly conductive soil or wild animals
several fence lines are used.

LIGHT INDICATIONS
Solar Battery Maintenance
-A fence energizer with a low battery can also be recharged using a suitable 12 volts battery.
Always use a 12
v adapter to recharge it directly.
-When out of use, fully charge the energizer battery before storage.
-When fully charged, it will work up to 5 days without sun.
-
The normal life of the internal battery is typically 3 to 4 years, and will last longer when properly
maintained.
-A solar fence energizer that has not been used
for a period of two weeks should be recharged in
sunlight for a minimum of 3 days for the energizer to work normally.
-
We always recommend permanently attaching a minimum of 1 warning sign along the fence. A
“Warning: Electric Fence” sign must be visible along public streets or highly trafficked are
as.
-We recomm
end a fence tester/voltage meter to determine the strength of the energizer. This may
also assist in finding faults in your electric fencing.
