HOW TO USE
Getting started
1.Remove all packing material and any stickers.
2.Wipe plates with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any dust.
Wipe dry with a soft cloth or paper towels.
3.Select location where the unit is to be used, leaving enough
space between the back of unit and the wall to allow heat to flow
without damage to cabinets and walls.
4.Plug cord into a standard electrical outlet, and then switch on
the power. Both the red power indicator light and green preheat
indicator light will turn on as the unit begins heating.
5.The green preheat indicator light will turn off when the plates
have reached the optimum cooking temperature.
6.For the first use, it is recommended to drop a small amount of
oil on the plate before cooking.
7.Important: Steam may be released between the cooking plates.
Caution should be taken to prevent hands from coming in contact
with the steam.
8.The green preheat indicator light will cycle on and off as the
unit maintains the ideal cooking temperature; this prevents over-
heating.
9.Pour the required batter to the baking pan, and make sure the
corner of the pan is covered with batter. After 4-5 minutes (and
the steam subsides), push the lock to open the lid. Remove the
cooked waffle.
10.After use, unplug unit from the electrical outlet and allow it to
cool to room temperature before cleaning.
