Please read thoroughly before commencing assembly, and use of your
Redsbaby JIVE3/ METRO3Bassinet Stand. Incorrect assembly, and use can
be dangerous and
result in serious injury or even death.
There may be slight variations in the design of your product to that shown
in the images of this instruction manual.
Your Redsbaby JIVE³ / METRO³ Bassinet Stand can be used for overnight
sleeping when following the instructions on page 11 of this instruction
manual.

12 Month Warranty
The Redsbaby JIVE3/ METRO³ Bassinet Stand and its accessories come with
a 12 Month Warranty to cover against faults in materials and workmanship
when your products are used under normal conditions, according to our
user manuals and technical specifications.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, or refund, for
a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss
or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired, or replaced, if
the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount
to a major failure.
The 12 Month Warranty period starts from the date your product(s) are
dispatched from our warehouse. This includes products that are purchased
via pre-order. For a claim to be valid, it must be made within the claims period.
Your 12 Month Warranty covers manufacturing defects relating to your
pram/accessories as listed below:
• Chassis, frame, wheels and adaptors;
• 5-point harness buckle, padding, strapping and assembly; and
• All soft good seams, bindings and zippers.
To the extent permitted by law, the following are not covered by warranty:
Failure or defects resulting from improper care or use;
• Normal wear and tear including scratches to the frame;
• Scus and tears to leatherette handles/bumpers;
• Products purchased second hand or from an unauthorised distributor;
• Fading or discolouration of fabrics and materials due to cleaning and/or

excessive sun exposure;
• Faulty or incorrect assembly of the products by the customer;
• Installation of a part or accessory not compatible with the product and/or
not manufactured by Redsbaby;
• Any modification or alteration not conducted or authorised by Redsbaby;
• Corrosion or rust on the frame due to extreme environmental conditions,
including high humidity, salt spray, ice or snow or due to insucient
maintenance;
• Accidental or intentional damage, abuse or neglect;
• Damage to handle bar grips or fabrics as a result of normal handling and
daily use;
• Airline/transport damage: check your Redsbaby product carefully after
it has been handled by the airline (or other transporters) and if required,
submit your claim directly to your travel insurer/airline;
• If the batch number sticker has been damaged or removed; and
• When the product has not been used for normal use and in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions.

assembly instructions, which can be found in this instruction manual.
How to make a warranty claim
Visit the Support Centre page on our website, www.redsbaby.com.au and
complete the ‘Warranty Claim’ form. Please ensure all fields are completed;
the more detailed you are with your description of the defect, the more
quickly we will be able to repair or replace your product. Once your form
has been submitted, a member of our Customer Care team will contact you
within seven (7) business days. Depending on the nature of the claim, we will
provide a replacement part/product to resolve the issue or arrange a repair
at one of our Australia-wide repair centres. If your pram is sent for repair,
please take care to repack the product in secure and stable packaging to

avoid any damage occurring in transit. We do not take responsibility of any
damage that occurs in transit to and from our pram repairer.
Repairs and replacements provided within the claims period within
Australia will be provided free of charge, including shipping costs. If you
require replacement parts to be shipped internationally within the warranty
claim period, Redsbaby will provide the parts free of charge, however
the customer is responsible for covering the cost dierence between
international shipping and local shipping, based on the original order
shipping address.
In order for your claim to be valid, you must stop using the product
immediately once you become aware of a fault or defect, and contact
Redsbaby following the process above to point out the defect.
You can also call our Customer Care team on 1300 344 964 for assistance
with your warranty claim.
General Maintenance
• Do not store your Redsbaby JIVE³ / METRO³ Bassinet Stand in your car
for prolonged periods of time, especially when it is hot as this may lead
to warping some of the plastics parts and reduce the life of your product.
Cleaning plastic and metal parts
• Sponge clean with warm water and a mild detergent and then air dry.
• Do not use any abrasive or corrosive cleaning products.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure you follow the regular maintenance and care instructions.

Warnings and safety
precautions
Please read the following warnings and safety precautions thoroughly
before using your Redsbaby JIVE3 / METRO3Bassinet Stand. Incorrect
assembly and use can result in serious injury or death.
Always follow safety instructions for assembly, folding and use.
After unpacking, immediately discard any plastic wrapping and packaging
materials, as these can lead to a choking hazard.
IMPORTANT:
Do not place any fabric or other component of your Redsbaby JIVE³ /
METRO³ Bassinet Stand in the dryer. Allow all parts to dry thoroughly
before storing.
• Do not use products that contain alcohol, as they may cause stains,
discolouring and damage to the leatherette parts on your Redsbaby
JIVE³ / METRO³ Bassinet Stand. This includes applying hand sanitiser
to your hands or directly on the product.
Cleaning fabrics
• May be cleaned by sponging lightly with warm water and a mild detergent
(ensure your child is not allergic to the detergent you use). Then air dry.
• For more instructions, follow the care labels on each fabric item.

• Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions
could result in serious injury or death.
• The Redsbaby JIVE³/METRO³ Bassinet Stand can be
used for overnight sleeping only with the Redsbaby
JIVE³/METRO³ Bassinet when the flap at the footend of
the bassinet is lifted.
• The Redsbaby JIVE³/METRO³ Bassinet is only approved
for use with the Redsbaby JIVE³/METRO³ Bassinet Stand.
• Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with
a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or
pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or
attach strings to toys.
• Only use the sheets provided with the bassinet mattress
or one specifically designed to fit the dimensions of the
bassinet mattress.
GENERAL WARNINGS:
• To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the
infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has
reached 9kg, whichever comes first.
• Always check that the bassinet is securely locked on the
base/stand by pulling upward on the bassinet bed.

Maximum weight for a child in the bassinet is 9kg
(19.8lbs).
MAXIMUM WEIGHT
LIMITS:
• Infants have suocated in gaps between extra padding
and side of the bassinet and on soft bedding.
• Only use the pad provided by the manufacturer.
• NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress
for padding.
• Only use the sheet provided by the manufacturer with
the bassinet mattress, or one specifically designed to fit
the dimension of the bassinet mattress
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, paediatricians recommend
healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless
otherwise advise by your physician.

Ensure that the R logo and the lock indicator is visible when looking at the
stand, once it is assembled.
2. Use the press studs on the basket to secure it over both sides of the
bassinet stand legs.

Bassinet for overnight sleeping
• This bassinet can be used for overnight sleeping only
when the flap at the footend of the bassinet is lifted and
when used with the Redsbaby JIVE³/METRO³ Bassinet
Stand.
• DO NOT use the bassinet for overnight sleeping in
your Redsbaby pram chassis. Failure to follow these
instructions may result in serious injury or death.

2. Once assembled correctly, your bassinet will sit rigid and upright.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure you pull the support rods up against the black
stoppers on the bottom of the bassinet. This will ensure
the sides of the bassinet are rigid and upright.
1. Pull the three support rods located in the bottom of the bassinet into
place. Push one of your hands into the base of the bassinet while pulling
the support rods into position.

3. Lift up the flap, located at the footend of the bassinet.
Note: This flap can be put back down when the bassinet is used on your
JIVE³ or METRO³ chassis.
4. Assemble the bassinet lining on the bassinet frame by securing the
Velcro on the lining to the Velcro on the inside of the bassinet flap.
Press firmly to ensure it is secured in place.
The bassinet is now ready to be placed in the Bassinet Stand.

Using your Redsbaby
Bassinet Stand
1. Secure the bassinet (with flap at
footend lifted) into the Redsbaby
Bassinet Stand, ensuring that the
it clicks firmly into the adaptors on
the stand.
The indicator on the stand will turn green
to indicate that the bassinet is locked in
correctly and will indicate red if not locked
in correctly.
2. Create more ventilation by unzipping the ventilation panels on the
canopy and at the head-end of the bassinet. Alternatively, you can also
fold back the bassinet canopy with the ventilation panel at the head-end
open or closed.

Red indicates the bassinet is NOT locked in place.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the bassinet is clicked in correctly and securely
by checking the indicator is green.
Green indicates the bassinet is firmly in place and locked in.
