General Instructions
IMPORTANT: KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Please read thoroughly before commencing assembly, and use of
your
Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet. Incorrect assembly, and use can
be dangerous and
result in serious injury or even death.
There may be slight variations in the design of your product to that
shown in the images of this instruction manual.

Warranty information
24 Month Warranty
The Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet and its accessories come with a
24 Month Warranty to cover against faults in materials and workmanship
when your products are used under normal conditions, according to our
user manuals and technical specifications.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement,
or refund, for a major failure and compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have
the goods repaired, or replaced, if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The 24 Month Warranty period starts from the date your product(s)
are dispatched from our warehouse. This includes products that are
purchased via pre-order (for example items that are out of stock or newly
launching products). For a claim to be valid, it must be made within the
claims period and must be made by the original purchaser (warranties
are non-transferable).
Your 24 Month Warranty covers manufacturing defects relating to your
pram/accessories as listed below:
- Chassis, frame, wheels and adaptors;
- 5-point harness buckle, padding, strapping and assembly; and
- All so good seams, bindings and zippers.

To the extent permitted by law, the following are not covered by warranty:
- failure or defects resulting from improper care or use;
- normal wear and tear including scratches to the pram frame;
- scus and tears to leatherette handles/bumpers;
- products purchased second hand or from an unauthorised distributor;
- fading or discolouration of fabrics and materials due to cleaning and/or
excessive sun exposure;
- faulty or incorrect assembly of the products by the customer;
- installation of a part or accessory not compatible with the product and/
or not manufactured by Redsbaby;
- any modification or alteration not conducted or authorised by
Redsbaby;
- corrosion or rust on the wheels and chassis due to extreme
environmental conditions, including high humidity, salt spray, ice or
snow or due to insuicient maintenance;
- accidental or intentional damage, abuse or neglect;
- damage to handle bar grips or fabrics as a result of normal handling
and daily use;
- airline/transport damage: check your Redsbaby product carefully
aer it has been handled by the airline (or other transporters) and if
required, submit your claim directly to your travel insurer/airline;
- consumer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of disliking the fit,
weight, functionality, colour or style (outside of the 30 Day Trial period);
- if the batch number sticker has been damaged or removed; and
- when the product has not been used for normal use and in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Warranty information
How To Make A Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please send an email to
[e-mail] with the following information.
The more detailed you are with your description of the defect,
the more quickly we will be able to repair or replace your product.
- Subject line: “Warranty Claim”;
- a description of the warranty defect and photographs or a video;
- your contact details;
- your order number; and
- product batch number - the batch number is printed on a sticker that is
located on:
- Pram: the crossbar between the rear wheels on the chassis.
- Bassinet: the baseboard (can be accessed by removing mattress
and lining)
We will respond to your warranty claim within seven (7) business days
and depending on the nature of the warranty claim either send out the
replacement spare part to resolve the issue at hand or request a repair
at one of our Australia-wide repair centres or at one of our UK-wide
repair centres. Should we need to arrange a collection and return of your
product, we will ask for confirmation of your collection address and
arrange collection of the product from your nominated address.
For smaller warranty claims we may be able to send you a replacement
part free of charge (e.g. bumper bar, frame lock, adaptors) which
will allow you to get back out and about quicker. In these instances,
Redsbaby will cover the cost of shipping spare parts domestically
within Australia.

Please note that if you require warranty parts to be shipped
internationally within the warranty claim period, Redsbaby will provide
you with replacement parts free of charge, however the customer will be
required to cover the dierence in cost between international shipping
compared to the cost of domestic shipping. In this instance we will
contact you to arrange payment.
Collection and return from a pram repairer will take place on a business
day (i.e. not a public holiday or weekend within your state or territory)
between 8am and 5.30pm. Please take care to repack the product in
secure and stable packaging to avoid any damage occurring in the
returns transit. We do not take responsibility for any damage that occurs
in transit to and from our pram repairer.
Once our repairer has received the product they will inspect and confirm
the reported defect. We will then contact you with further information
surrounding the repair such as the estimated turn around time.

Warnings and safety precautions
Please read the following warnings and safety precautions thoroughly
before using your Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet. Incorrect assembly
and use can result in serious injury or death.
Always follow safety instructions for assembly, folding and use.
Aer unpacking, immediately discard any plastic wrapping and
packaging materials, as these can lead to a choking hazard.
GENERAL WARNINGS:
• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Refer to and
follow all warnings and safety precautions provided with
your Redsbaby JIVE2Pram or Redsbaby METRO2Pram
while using the Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet.
• The Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet is only approved
for use with the Redsbaby JIVE, Redsbaby JIVE2Pram and
the Redsbaby METRO and Redsbaby METRO2Pram.
• Do not use the Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet with any
other models of pram.
• The Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet is suitable for a
child who cannot sit up by itself, roll over and cannot
push itself up on its hands and knees.
• This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit up
unaided. Do not use the bassinet once the child can sit up
unaided.

• Do not let other children play unattended near the the
carry cot.
• Do not use if any part of the carry cot is broken, torn or
missing.
• Only use the bassinet in the flat position. Do not recline
• Only use the bassinet on a firm, horizontal level and dry
surface.
• Use only replacment parts supplied or approved by
Redsbaby.
• Do not use or leave the Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet
near an open fire or other source of strong heat.
• Inspect the handles and the bottom of the bassinet
regularly for signs of damage and wear.
GENERAL SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS:
• Before liing or carrying the bassinet, make sure the handle
is in the correct position to use.
• Ensure that the head of the child in the bassinet is never
lower than the body of the child.

General Maintenance
• Do not store your Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet in your car for
prolonged periods of time, especially when it is hot as this may lead to
warping some of the plastics parts and reduce the life of your product.
Cleaning plastic and metal parts
• Sponge clean with warm water and a mild detergent and then air dry.
• Do not use any abrasive or corrosive cleaning products on your
Redsbaby JIVE2/ METRO2Bassinet.
Cleaning fabrics
• May be cleaned by sponging lightly with warm water and a mild
detergent (ensure your child is not allergic to the detergent you use).
Then air dry.
• For more instructions, follow the care labels on each fabric item.
IMPORTANT:
Do not place any fabric or other component of your Redsbaby JIVE2/
METRO2
Bassinet in the dryer. Allow all parts to dry thoroughly
before storing.
MAXIMUM WEIGHT LIMITS:
• Maximum weight for a child in the bassinet is 9kg (19.8lbs).

Assembly instructions
1. Pull the three support rods located in the bottom of the bassinet into
place. Push one of your hands into the base of the bassinet while
pulling the support rods into position.

2. Once assembled correctly, your bassinet will sit rigid and upright.
3. Assemble the bassinet lining on the bassinet frame by securing the
velcro on the lining to the velcro on the bassinet body. Press firmly
to ensure it is secured in place.

4. Insert your bassinet mattress into the bottom of the bassinet snugly.
You do not need to add an additional mattress to the bassinet.
5. Secure your bassinet apron by using the press studs located on the
bassinet canopy.
TIP! You can open the apron using the zippers rather than unbuttoning
the apron from the canopy each time.
6. Secure the bassinet adaptors in the pram frame.

7. Click the bassinet into the adaptors. Check the bassinet is secured by
liing it upwards when in the pram frame.

8. To remove, li and release the locks on either side of the bassinet.
