following instructions carefully before using your instrument. By following the
steps outlined in this manual your meter will provide years of reliable service.
Product Quality
This product has been manufactured in an ISO 9001 facility and has
been calibrated during the manufacturing process to meet stated product
specications. If a certicate of calibration is required please contact the
nearest authorized REED distributor or authorized Service Center. Please
note an additional fee for this service will apply.
Safety
 

damage that will not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Operating Instructions
Press and hold the POWER button to turn the meter on and off.
Voltage Measurements
1. Turn the meter on.
2. Press the FUNCTION
 
to the COM input terminal.
4. Touch the test leads to the voltage source.
5. Read the AC voltage measurement on the display. If the display

Current Measurements
1. Turn the meter on.
2. Press the FUNCTION button to select ACA.
3. Connect the red test lead to the 10A input terminal and the black test
lead to the COM input terminal.
4. Touch the test leads to the current source.
5. Read the AC current measurement on the display. The value indicated

indicates an out-of-range measurement.

Auto Power Off
To preserve battery life, the meter is programmed to turn itself off after
10 minutes of inactivity. To turn this function off, enter the Data Records
function by pressing the REC button.
Battery Replacement

you will need to replace the batteries. Make sure there are no test leads
attached to the meter, and that the meter is turned off before opening the
battery compartment.
