1.Ensurethat onlythequalifiedelectriciancaninstall/service thiscable
reel. Andit mustnot beusedbychildrenorunskilledpersons.
2.Ensurethat powersupplyvoltagedoesnotexceedmaximumvoltage
rating ofreel.
3.Ensurethatreelisproperlyinstalledbeforeconnectingtopowersupply.
4.Ensurethat all electrical powerisremovedformreel beforeservicing.
5.Check forfrayedandbrokenwiresbeforeeachuse.
6.Whenpullelectricalcablefromthereelalwaysgrasptheelectricalcable
itself, nottheworkdevice.
7.Removepowerformthereelimmediatelywhenanymalfunctionoccurs.
8.Neverremove,tamperwithorcutthesafetydevices fittedbythe
manufacture.
9.Donotusethereel indamporwetconditions.Keeptheworkareais
clean. Avoidput insundriesreel.
Installation
1.Unpack andinspectreel for damage. Turnby handtocheckfor smooth
operation.Check forcompleteness.
2.Thecablereelmustbeinstalledinpremisesconforming tocurrentregulation
and standardscoveringsystemsandworkenvironments.
3.Securethecablereel tothewall andtheceilingaccordingtotheinstallation
diagrams.Youwillneedtopurchaseappropriatehardwareformounting your
newreel. Usingscrewanchorsorsuitablescrewswhich mustbefittedinthe
holesinthebrackets.

a)Thereel basehas three 8.5mm drilledholesfor mounting on asuitable
flatsurface.
b)Usingthethree holesinthebase,mountthereelinthedesiredlocation.
Besuretouseappropriatehardwareandtightensecurely.
4.Ifcablestopper adjustmentisrequired,pullcableformreel and allow tolatch
at desiredlength.Loosenstopper bolts,andslidestoppertoapositioncloseto
thecableguide. Tightenstopper bolts,andunlatchthereel.
5.Doubleadjustment function,see belowthepicture.Adjustthelatchspring to
leftposition,couldlock thecableat anydesiredlength.Adjustthelatch spring
tooppositeposition, havenon-lockfunction,thencablecanbe freelymoved.
Operation
1. Checkreel forcorrectoperationbyslowlypullingoutcable.A clicking noisewill
beheardeveryhalf revolutionof thedrum.
2. Tolatchthereel,pulloutthecableandallowittoretractafter hearingthefirst
second or third “click .

3. Tounlatch,slowlypull outthecableuntilthe “clicking noise stops,thenlet cable
retract untilthecablestopperrestsagainstthecableguide.
4.Whenoverloading,thethermalcut-outwillcutoffautomatically,thenpushthe
redbuttonuntil restore.
5.Ifnecessary, adjustspring tensiononreel byaddingorremovingwrapsofcable
fromspool, onewrapsatatime, untildesiredtension isobtained. Add wrapsto
increasetension. Removewrapstodecreasetension.
Note: Toavoiddamagetothereel, alwaysholdontothecablewhileitis
rewinding.
Warning: Donotopenthecover(#10) at will. Itisverydangerous andcan
causepersonalinjuryordeath.See belowpicture.

Maintenance
1.Makesurethecableisinproper workingorder.
2.Clean thecablewithaclothdippedinwarm watertoremovedirtordeposits
and ensurecorrect rewinding.
3.Donot usedetergentsorsolventswhichcouldproveincompatiblewith
cable-windermaterials.
4.Dismantlingof theunitbyunskilledpersonal couldprovehazardous;therisk
involvedmainlyconcernthepreloadedsprings.
LimitedWarranty
1.Themanufacturerwarranteesthiscablereel againstdefectsinmaterialand
craftsmanship,foraperiodof24monthsfrom dateofpurchase, butnot
includingcable, socket.
2.Manufacturer’sliabilityislimitedtoreplacement orrepair ofdefectivematerial
withinthewarrantyperiod,whenreturnedfreight prepaidtothe distributoror
theirdesignatedservicedepot.
3.Thewarrantydoesnotcoverdamagecausedbyaccident, misuseorfaulty
installation.
4.Thereelmustbeinstalledand maintainedincompliancewiththeinstructions.
