precautions (remarkable.com/legal) before using the device. The reMarkable paper tablet contains a
lithium ion battery, active RF transmitters and other electronic components. Do not disassemble the
device or try to modfy, remove or replace any of the parts, you can permanently damage the device
and cause harm to yourself or others.The reMarkable should never be charged with incorrect voltage,
or current, the battery may start to burn. Never cover the device with anything when it’s charging.
Never charge the device at night or when it is out of visible reach. Use only approved batteries /
chargers designed for your device. Incompatible batteries / chargers can cause serious injuries or
damages to your device.Do not use damaged power cords or plugs. Do not expose your device to high
external pressure or temperature.Batteries may explode when overheated.
This product is not designed to be used by small children under ve years of age. This product may
contain parts small enough that can be inadvertently swallowed and should not be used by children
under ve years of age.
Keep reMarkable away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it may damage the display and
cause cosmetic change to the surface materials. The reMarkable should not be subject to any liquid
and is not waterproof. Do not store, operate or charge the device below 5 degrees or above 50 degrees
celsius. Contact reMarkable support if you have any questions or concerns.
Do not eat or chew on your reMarkable or any of the accessories. Do not microwave the device.
reMarkable is not a rescue otation device. Do not use your device for anything other than its intended use.
