Thank you for buying your new Remington® product. Please read these instructions
carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable
out of reach of children under 8 years.
• Always check the appliance before you use it. Do not use the appliance if it
is damaged, as this may cause injury.
• The adaptor contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adaptor to replace it
with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
The shaver is suitable for cleaning under an open water tap.
• The body of this appliance is not washable or water resistant. Do not put
the appliance in liquid.
• WARNING: Detach the shaver from the charging adapter before cleaning it
in water.
• Do not use the product with a damaged cord. A replacement can be
obtained via our International Service Centres.
• This product should only be used with the charging adaptor supplied.
• Always replace a damaged adaptor with one of the original type.
• Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.
• This appliance should never be left unattended when plugged into a power outlet,
except when charging.
• Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not twist or kink the cable, or wrap it round the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use.

GETTING STARTED
CHARGING YOUR SHAVER
Note: It is recommended to fully charge your appliance before using for the rst time.
Please refer to the charge times shown in this book.
• Ensure the product is switched o.
• Connect the adaptor to the product and then to the mains.

• Run time from fully charged is up to 60 minutes.
• Charge time from empty is 4 hours.
• To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every 6 months then fully
charge.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Select the desired trim length prior to trimming by attaching one of the comfort
combs.
• If trimming longer hair, or if trimming for the rst time, always start with the
longest length comb (4mm) and work your way down to shorter lengths until you
reach your desired style.
• Always ensure the trimmer is switched o before attaching or removing a comb.
• Switch the shaver on by pressing the on/o switch.

CHANGING THE ATTACHMENTS
• To attach a comb, place it on top of the trimmer with the teeth of the comb over the
main trimmer. Slide the comb down until it clicks into place.
• To remove the comb, pull the sides of the comb where it connects to the trimmer
out and lift the comb away from the trimmer.
Note: Using the detail trimmer with no comb attached will trim down to 0.2mm.
• Using the main trimmer with no comb attached will trim hair to 1mm.
• Holding the main trimmer upright on the skin will trim hair to 0.4mm.
BIKINI
• Choose and attach the desired comfort comb.
• Place the at top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
• Slowly slide the trimmer through the hair, against the direction of hair
growth. As hair grows in dierent directions, you may wish to change direction
where necessary.
• The comb will trim the hair to the same length, whichever direction you trim.
CAUTION: Ensure that the trimmer blade is kept away from any sensitive areas.
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
• Use slow and even strokes and keep the skin nice and taut to ensure hairs are well
trimmed.
• If hair builds up in the trimmer comb during the trimming process, switch the unit
o and remove the comb. Brush excess hair from the trimmer (dry use) or rinse the
comb under water (wet use).
CLOSE TO SKIN TRIMMING AND SHAPING THE BIKINI AREA
• For close to skin trimming for the bikini area, remove the comb and use the detail
trimmer. This will trim hair down to 0.2mm.
• To edge and shape the bikini area, remove the comb and use the main trimmer held
upright on the skin to create the desired shape.
• This trimmer has been designed so that it can be used in the shower.
• Please do not store the trimmer in an area that constantly gets wet.
• Make sure you dry the trimmer after each use.
CARE FOR YOUR TRIMMER
• To ensure long lasting performance clean after each use.
• Ensure the appliance is switched o and unplugged from the mains before
cleaning.
• The easiest and most hygienic way to clean the trimmer is under the tap.
• Allow the water to run through the washout area to help wash out any hair
trimmings from the inside of the trimmer.

BATTERY REMOVAL
• Ensure the trimmer is discharged of all power.
1. Pry the trimmer head out using a single sided screwdriver.
2. Using a small screwdriver, unscrew 2 screws on the back housing of the trimmer.
3. Pry the front of the trimmer away using a single side screwdriver.
4. Pry the circuit board holder from the back using the single side screwdriver so you
can see the circuit board and batteries.
5. Destroy the circuit board using a wire cutter, cut the tabs on both ends of the
battery assembly and remove the circuit board.
• The battery is to be disposed of safely.
RECYCLING
WTo avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous
substances, appliances and rechargeable and non-rechargeable
batteries marked with one of these symbols must not be disposed of
with unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical and
electronic products and, where applicable, rechargeable and
non-rechargeable batteries, at an appropriate ocial recycling/
collection point.
SERVICE AND GUARANTEE
Defects aecting product functionality appearing within the
guarantee period will be corrected by replacement or repair at our
option provided the product is used and maintained in accordance
with the instructions. Your statutory rights are not aected.
