Clean Your Groomer Regularly
CLEANING CAUTIONS
■ Only the adjustable trimmer combs and cutter assembly may be removed from
the trimmer for cleaning.
■ Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their cutters.
■ Do not apply pressure or hard objects to cutters.
■ Do not disassemble cutter assembly.
■ There are no user serviceable parts.
■ The handheld unit should be detached from the power supply cord before
cleaning.
CLEANING WITH WATER
Your groomer’s trimmer attachments have rust-resistant, stainless-steel cutting
blades that permit the cutting assemblies to be rinsed under running water if
you choose.
■ Remove all attachments by rotating them counter-clockwise to the unlock
position and pulling the attachment off.
■ Rinse the attachments under warm running water. Do NOT use hot water,
which may cause damage to components.
CLEANING THE MINI SHAVER
Thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from the cutter, the bottom of the
attachments, and the top of the power handle or you may rinse.
■ Press the buttons at the ends of the screen head.
■ Remove the head and shake out the clippings or rinse.
■ Blow off the cutter assembly or rinse.
■ Replace the head, making sure the unit snaps in place.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
■ In order to preserve the life of the batteries, they should be fully discharged
every six months and then fully charged for 24 hours.
■ Remington®branded rechargeable groomers are designed only for cordless
operation.
■ Remington®branded rechargeable groomers are powered by Nickel Metal
Hydride (NiMH) environmentally preferable batteries.
■ Hairs should be free of lotions when using your groomer.
■ Never use groomer with damaged or broken cutter units.
Usage Tips
Attachments
Your personal groomer has five different attachments (including combs) to meet
all your grooming needs. Just place the attachment on the handle and turn it
clockwise until the lock symbols align.
PRECISION TRIMMER PLUS COMB ATTACHMENT
You can use the precision trimmer on the outside of your bikini line or add the 4-
position comb attachment for trimming inside your bikini line. (Diagram A)
1.To attach comb, simply slide it onto the trimmer as shown. (Diagram B)
2.Depress button to release comb when adjusting comb length. Other uses for this
trimmer attachment are on your arms, neckline, etc. (Diagram C)
DETAIL TRIMMER
You can use this attachment for trimming unwanted eyebrow hair, fine downy
facial hair, nose and ear hair, or any stray body hairs. (Diagram D)
MINI SHAVER
You can use this attachment for smaller areas such as your bikini line, under-
arms or the fine, downy hair on your face. (Diagram E) It was not designed to
shave larger areas such as your legs. Use it dry, or use it wet with soap, foaming
gel, or body wash if you prefer.
Hold the groomer so the mini-shaver screen gently touches your skin. This allows
the unit to work the way it was designed for the closest shave and minimum
screen wear. Avoid holding the groomer at an angle. This will distort the screen
and may cause some skin irritation.
