5.3 Cleaning and Replacing the Washable Pre-Filter
The role of the pre-filter is to prevent larger particles from reaching the
ventilators and prolong the lifetime of the main filter.
We recommend cleaning the pre-filter once a month by vacuum cleaning in the
gaps of the bottom cover, which will remove any large particles.
The pre-filter should be changed after every 400 hours of operation –or at the
same time as every second main filter change. To replace the filter, perform
the following steps:
STEP 1: Open the pre-filter cover
using the release mechanism.
STEP 2: Remove the used washable
pre-filter and clean it, or dispose of it
as general waste if it is damaged.
STEP 3: Insert the cleaned or
new pre-filter into the designated
filter slot.
STEP 4: Close the cover by inserting
the studs into the designated slots
and then pushing the release
mechanism back into place.
