Caution: Please read through the instructions carefully. Before starting this
project, remove the system’s positive and negative connections from the
battery or battery pack. This kit is designed for a 12V operation only. Operating
this kit at a higher voltage will void any and all warranties. Look behind each
drill location BEFORE YOU DRILL. Installer is responsible for damage (i.e.
drilling into a wiring harness, battery, fuel tank etc.). Do no attempt to activate
or control this device in a hazardous driving situation.

Installation Components
Tools and Supplies Needed for Installation
- Wire Cutters, Strippers and Crimpers
- Light Duty Clamps
- 20 Gauge Wire and Wire Connectors
- Clear Outdoor Silicone (Required if Cutting LED Strip)
- Scissors
- Velcro (Recommended for Installing Control Box)
- Wire Ties
Before You Start
1. Turn Key OFF.
2. Place Tow/Run Switch in Tow if equipped.
3. Remove the system’s positive and negative connections from the battery or
battery pack.
4. Engage the parking brake.
Installation
1. Locate a safe, clean, inconspicuous area on the cart to mount the controller.
2. Clean the mounting surface where the LED light strip will mounted. Run the
LED light strip in the desired mounting location to make sure it fits properly.
Lightly clamp in place.
CAUTION: If the length of the LED strip needs to be modified, do not cut the
LED strip until it is permanently installed.
3. Clean the mounting surface for the Bluetooth controller and install it using
Velcro or wire ties.

4. Permanently install the LED strip on a clean mounting surface by peeling the
paper backing off of the adhesive and pressing the LED strip against the
mounting surface. Further secure the LED strip in place using the provided
self-stick clips and/or wire ties (not included).
NOTE: For easier installation, only peel back 8-10” of paper backing at a time.
5. If the LED strip is too long
and must be cut, use
scissors and cut only at the
designated cut points. Use
clear outdoor silicone to
cover the cut edge.
6. Connect the LED strip to
the Bluetooth controller at
the 4-pin connector.
7. If needed, lengthen the power wires (red and black wires) on the Bluetooth
controller so they reach the 12V power supply (battery or voltage reducer).
8. Install the in-line fuse sub-harness on the Bluetooth controller’s red and black
wires as shown.
9. Connect the in-line fuse sub-harness to the 12V power supply as shown.
NOTE: The pre-installed ring terminals may need to be changed to a different
style of connector if connecting to a voltage reducer or other power source.
10. Secure any loose wires with wire ties.

Bluetooth Controller Operation
1. Download the “Happy Lighting” App on a smart device by scanning
the QR code on the controller or searching for it in the App Store.
NOTE: Android users may have “Enable Unknown Sources” under
App Settings/Security to see “Happy Lighting” in the App Store.
Disable once downloaded.
2. Go to the device’s Bluetooth settings and pair the device with the Bluetooth
controller.
NOTE: If the LED light strip is not powered by the key-switch, the LED light strip
can be turned ON/OFF through the Happy Lighting App.
3. Once synced, the Happy Lighting App will control the LED light strip functions.
Explore the various colors and functions using the App.
Your LED RGB Light Strip Kit is now complete.
