The GTR197 is an optional
accessory that allows up to
250 additional remotes to be
paired with Richmond’s Gate
Automation Kits. Without this,
each gate kit can only pair up
to 25 remotes as standard.
PLEASE NOTE: This accessory is
only suitable for gate motors that have
Unlocked Rolling Remote Code and
Richmond gate motors: GTR064(MK2),
GTR156(MK2), and GTR207

instructions to suit each of the
above gate motors.

Pairing Remotes to the
Remote External Reciever
Step 01.
Press the learn button on the external
receiver once. The LED on the receiver will turn on.
Step 02.
Press the first button (1) on the remote twice.
The learn LED will flash and then turn off.
The remote is now paired
Remotes paired to the external reveiver will operate
differently to remotes paired directly to the gate opener.
Once paired to the receiver the remote will operate as follows:
PLEASE NOTE: these instructions are for the GTR179 remote which comes standard with the
following Richmond gate openers: GTR064(MK2), GTR156(MK2), and GTR207
