1. Installing the RIP Software
This manual explains how to install RIP software.
Checking Operating Conditions
RIP software requires the following operating conditions:
• Operating system
• Windows 7 (64 bit)
• Windows 10 (64 bit)

Installing the RIP Software
The following 2 applications are installed by means of this installation procedure:
• PhotoPRINT DX Plus T7210 Edition 12
• PhotoPRINT EDITOR 12
This manual explains the installation procedure using Windows 7 as an example.
1. Select the language you display at installation and click [OK].
2. Click [Next].
3. Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click [Next].

4. Specify a destination for the installation and click [Next].
5. Check all 3 boxes, and then click [Next].
6. Specify program folder and click [Next].

7. If the following dialog boxes appear after installation starts, click [OK].
Depending on the operating environment, the computer may reboot after the installation is
completed. When rebooting the computer, install the RIP Software again from Step 1.
8. Enter the activation code, and then click [Next].
9. Open the URL using the web browser.
For activation, connect the computer to the network.
10. Follow the instructions on the web browser to create your account and activate the
software.

11. Click [Finish].

Specifying the Printer Settings
1. Insert into the computer the USB dongle supplied with the software.
Be sure to keep the USB dongle inserted.
2. Launch PhotoPRINT DX Plus T7210 Edition 12.
3. Select [Color Printers] in "Choose a device type", and select the brand name and model
name of your printer in "Choose a device", and then click [Next].
4. Configure settings as necessary, and then click [Finish].

1. Click the Help button on the toolbar, and then click [PhotoPRINT DX Plus T7210 Edition 12

This chapter provides solutions for installation RIP software.
If Installation Fails
Dialog boxes appear after installation starts.
When the following dialog boxes appear after installation starts, click [OK].
Your computer does not connect to the network.
For activation, connect the computer to the network.
An antivirus program is preventing the machine from connecting to your computer.
• Antivirus programs may prevent client computers from downloading the RIP software.
• Add the program to the exclusion list in the application settings. For details about how to add
programs to the exclusion list, see the antivirus software Help.

If the RIP Software Does Not Start
The application does not start without the USB dongle. Insert the USB dongle supplied with the software
into the computer.
