Preset Digital air compressor
Unit does not turn on.
Unit stopped working.
The fuse has blown.
Check the 12V plug is pushed home securely in the
vehicles’ 12V socket.
The unit will not operate if the fuse in the 12V plug has
blown. (This is an inbuilt safety feature.) Replace the 15A
fuse.
The 12V socket is incompatible with my
car.
The RTC1000 is powered using a 12V socket. Therefore this
model is not suitable for vehicles which are not fitted with
a 12V socket. Recommend purchasing RTC6000 which is a
cordless digital tyre inflator. Refer to Ring’s website: www.

Missing accessories.
The accessories are stored in the base of the unit. These
may become detatched from the unit in transit. Check
inside the case. If not present, contact Ring Technical
Support by phone or email, details below for a
replacement.
Damaged power button, mode dial.
The power button and mode dial should be operated by
hand as shown in the user manual. Operating with a foot
can result in the power button / mode dial being damaged.
Missing brass pin from pressure hose.
The brass pin can be damaged if the Presta to Schrader
adaptor is incorrected fitted. Contact Ring Technical
