3. Mountthereceiveronthewallusingtheinstallationholes(3,Figure4)andreinstallthe
circuitboard.Makesurethatthatyouhearaʺclickʺwhenattachingthetamperspringto
thewall.

4. ConnectthepowersourcewireplugtotheJ2powerjackonthePCBortotheAC
terminalsonthePCB.Thepolarityisnotimportant.DoNotplugthetransformerintothe
walloutletatthispoint.
5. Pluginthe threerechargeablebatteries(sizeAANiMH 2300mAH)intothebattery
holders.Payattentiontothecorrectpolarity(+)(‐).
NOTE:
Rechargeable batteries should be charged for at least 24 hours.
IMPORTANT:
When replacing the batteries be sure to use the same type. Failure to comply with this
instruction may result in damage to personnel and/or equipment. Dispose of used batteries
according to local regulations.

Transmitter/Receiver Communication Setup
Tosetupthecommunicationwiththereceiver,theI/Oexpandershouldidentifyitselftothe
systemʹsreceiverinthesamewayassettingcommunicationtoawirelesszone.
1. SetthesecuritypaneltoLearnmode.
2. SendaWRITEmessagewithin15secondsafterI/Oexpanderpowerup,bypressingthe
WallandCovertampersswitchessimultaneouslyforatleast3seconds(whenthePCBIS
installedONLYthecovertamperhastobepressed).
3. VerifythattheI/Oexpanderhasbeenidentifiedbythesecuritypanel.
4. InstalltheWirelessI/OModulefrontcoverbackinitsplace.Lockscrewlocatedatthe
topoftheunit.
Programming

ViatheAgilitypanelyoucandefinetheInputs,OutputsandX10parameterssettings
accordingtoyourrequirements.
