1 UNPACKING
Remove cover and sides of the crate. Check for visual damages.
Note: Do not work on the voltage transformer with heavy tools such as hammers or crow
bars.
2 TRANSPORTATION OF THE UNPACKED VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER
Note: The voltage transformer must only be lifted and transported by means of textile
hoisting slings.
a) Attach two hoisting slings below the top shed.
b) Hang hoisting sling to crane hook.
c) Lift voltage transformer out of crate.

3 MOUNTING
Mounting area between base plate and foundation must be flat and even.
a) Lower the voltage transformer onto foundation.
b) Compensate gap(s) - if any - between base plate and foundation.
c) Screw base rails of the voltage transformer with screws size M12 quality A2-70 (tensile
strength 700 N/mm²) to the foundation. Prescribed tightening torque: M = 30 Nm.
4 INSTALLATION CHECK INSTRUCTIONS
a) Is the cast resin body of the voltage transformer undamaged?
b) Are the metal parts undamaged?
c) Is the voltage transformer positioned on an even surface, i.e., has an existing gap
between mounting base plate and foundation been compensated?
d) Has the prescribed torque „mounting base plate - foundation“ (see 3.c) been adhered
to?
