PRODUCTDESCRIPTION
Road Xpedition buffers/polishers are de-
signed to apply automotive type waxes and
to buff waxed metal and composite sur-
faces such as cars, trucks and fiberglass
boats. They are not suitable for sanding,
grinding, polishing (with abrasives), or
other duties not listed specifically above.
They should not be used on delicate sur-
faces or laminated wood surfaces, as the
heat generated by buffing may damage
the adhesive bond between layers.
Note: No user serviceable parts contained
in the buffer. Use factory authorized parts
only.
BEFOREUSE
1. Familiarize yourself thoroughly with the
operation of this product before using.
Practice on an exemplar of your in-
tended workpiece to get an idea of how
much wax to use and how much force
to use when pressing down on the
buffer. Experiment using different wax-
ing and buffing techniques to see what
works best BEFORE attempting to use
on a valuable car or boat finish.
2. THOROUGHLY CLEAN intended
workpiece before applying wax and/or
buffing. Any dirt left on the workpiece
will simply be ground into it, damag-
ing paint, primer and metal. The ap-
plicator and buffing pad covers will likely
be ruined by such use as well.
3. Inspect before each use. Do not use if
broken, cracked, melted, leaking,
smoking or otherwise damaged parts
are noted.
4. Ensure that the pad cover chosen for a
particular job is the proper one. The
softer, more plush pad cover is for buff-
ing purposes (removing wax), while the
other is suitable for applying wax.
DONOTATTEMPT TO BUFF SURFACE
WITH COARSE, SHORT PILE PAD
COVER. Failure to heed this message
may result in paint damage.
5. Ensure that the pad cover is installed
correctly. The pad cover shall be in-
stalled in such a manner that completely
and evenly covers the foam buffer pad.
6. Use chemicals which are compatible
with the painted finish you are working
with.

plugged-in auto polisher with finger on
switch. Be sure switch is off when
plugged in.
15.Stay alert - Watch what you are doing.
Use common sense. Do not operate
auto polisher when you are tired.

use of the auto polisher, a guard or
other part that is damaged should be

will operate properly and perform its
intended function. Check for alignment
of moving parts, breakage of parts,
mounting, and any other conditions that
