Precautions
•Donotexceedtheballhead’smaximum load
capacity.
•Ensurethat all appropriatelocks areengaged
whennecessary.
•Thisballhead should be used only in
temperaturesranging between-22°F and 140°F.
Donot operatein salt water.Drythe ballhead if it
becomeswet.
•Removethe camerafrom the ballhead during
setupor transport.
•Keepthis productawayfromchildren.
•Allimages are forillustrativepurposesonly.
Onrare occasions,dueto the
strengthof the lockingmechanism,
thehead may not unlock.
Ifthis happens, turn the tension
dialto its minimumsetting.Tighten
thelocking knob by turning it
clockwiseto itsmaximum
tightness.Then turn it
counterclockwisetoloosen it. The
ballheadshould move freely.

1. Quick-releaseknob
Turncounterclockwisetoloosen the jaws or removethe quick-release
plate.Turnclockwisetotightenand secure the quick-releaseplate.
2. Quick-releaseplate
TheArca-stylecompatible quick-releaseplateattachestothebaseof
yourcameravia the 1/4-20mounting screw.
3. 1/4-20mountingscrew
4. Bubblelevel
Usethebubbleleveltoensure that yourcamerais properly aligned
withthehorizon.

5. 90°notch
Usethenotchto quickly switchyourcamerafrom landscape to
portraitorientation.
6. Panknob
Turnthe knobcounterclockwisetounlockthebase.Rotatethe base to
thedesiredposition, and lock the base byturningtheknobclockwise.
7. Panoramicbase with 360° markings
Usethepandegreesscaletoaccuratelyset up panoramic shots.
8. 3/8-16threaded mounting socket
Tightenallthe knobs on the head. Then rotatethe ballhead clockwise
ontothe tripod.

9. Mainlockingknob
Turnclockwise to lock the ballhead’sposition.Turncounterclockwise
tounlock andrepositionyour camera.
Important!Make suretosupportthe camerawith one hand while you
disengagethemainlocking knob.
10.Tensiondial
Setsthe minimum amount of friction on the ball. This ensures there’s
frictionontheball,evenif the mainlockingknobisdisengaged. This is
usefultoquickly unlock, reposition, and lock the ballhead without
accidentallylosing control of the camera.
