Intended use
This barbecue is intended exclusively for the preparation of grilled foods. It is
suitable only for use outdoors. This barbecue is intended for use only in domestic
environments, not for commercial applications.
No liability will be assumed for damages caused by misuse or improper handling,
the use of force or unauthorised modification.

Safety
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling
of the appliance.
This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations.
Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.
Basic Safety Instructions
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
1. During use, place the barbecue on a safe, level and firm surface, otherwise
it could tip over.
2. CAUTION! For igniting and reigniting, do not use spiritus, petrol or similar
liquids! Use only ignition aids complying with EN 1860-3. The deflagration
could cause an uncontrollable development of heat.
3. ATTENTION! During use the barbecue will become very hot and therefore
may not be moved, otherwise it could tip over.
4. ATTENTION! Keep children and pets well away from it!
5. Wear appropriate barbecue gloves when grilling and use grill tongs.
6. NEVER leave a hot barbecue unattended.
7. Let the barbecue cool completely before cleaning it.
8. NEVER use water to extinguish the charcoal.
WARNING
Warning in regard to suffocation!
► Use the barbecue ONLY outdoors!
► Do not operate the barbecue in indoor rooms or roofed-over areas.

The appliance is delivered with the following components as standard:

Take the appliance and the operating manual from the box and remove all pack-
ing material.
NOTICE
► Check the delivery for completeness and for any signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is not complete or is damaged due to defective packaging or
through transportation contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).

Step 1
♦ Press the two locking knobs A on the outside of the stand in and fold it
apart.

Step 2
♦ Swing the two side elements B of the stand to the outside and secure
them with the retaining clamps C .
Step 3
♦ Fold the firebowl 2apart and insert the two end panels D from the top
into the firebowl 2.

♦ Place the firebowl 2in the stand . Ensure that the two arresting plates E
fit into the recesses on the stand .
Step 5
♦ Fold the grill rack 3apart and, from below, slide the two reinforcement
bars F through the grill rack 3.
♦ Attach the two handles G in the grill rack 3.

♦ Place the grill rack 3on the stand .
Commissioning
NOTICE
► Before the first use, the barbecue must be warmed up for at least 30 minutes.
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
► During use, place the barbecue on a safe, level and firm surface, otherwise
it could tip over.
► Warning! For igniting and reigniting, do not use spiritus, petrol or similar
liquids! Use only ignition aids complying with EN 1860-3. The deflagration
could cause an uncontrollable development of heat.
♦ Layer a portion of the charcoal into the firebowl 2.
♦ Place one or two solid firelighters on the existing layer of charcoal and
ignite the solid firelighters with a match or lighter.
♦ Allow the firelighters to burn for 2 to 4 minutes. Then slowly fill the firebowl 2
with charcoal.
♦ After about 20 minutes the charcoal will display a white coating of ash.
The optimal burning temperature has now been reached.
♦ Spread the charcoal, using a suitable metal tool, evenly in the firebowl 2.
♦ Place the grill rack 3on it and start grilling.

Cleaning and Care
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
► Before cleaning it or putting it into storage, allow the barbecue to cool down
completely. NEVER use water to extinguish the glowing charcoal.
Warning in regard to property damage!
► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents as they may damage
the surfaces.
♦ For cleaning the stand , use a dish cloth and water with a commercial
detergent.
♦ Clean the grill rack 3and the firebowl 2with household detergent and
a sponge.
Storage
♦ Dismantle the barbecue in reverse order.
♦ Store the loose parts (end panels, handles and reinforcing bars) in the
firebowl 2.
♦ Store the firebowl 2in the lower part and the grill rack 3in the upper
part of the stand .
♦ Fold the stand together and let the locking knobs A engage.

Disposal
Dispose of flammable materials carefully and with regard to the environ-
ment. Fundamentally, dispose of such remaining waste ONLY into
containers made of metal and intended for this purpose or those made
of non-flammable materials.
Dispose of the barbecue through an approved disposal centre or at your commu-
nity waste facility.Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
please contact your waste disposal centre.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly manner.

Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The
appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before
delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,
please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only
in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects,
but not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile
components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The
warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and
internal tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty
period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to
replaced and repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immedi-
ately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

1. Ställ grillen på ett säkert, plant och stabilt underlag när den ska användas,
annars kan den välta.
2. AKTA! Använd aldrig sprit eller bensin för att tända upp eller tända om
elden! Endast braständare enligt EN 1860-3 får användas. Annars kan det
uppstå explosioner och värmeutvecklingen går inte att kontrollera.
3. AKTA! Grillen blir mycket het och får inte flyttas när den används, annars
kan den välta.
4. AKTA! Håll barn och husdjur på behörigt avstånd!
5. Använd lämpliga grillhandskar och en grilltång när du grillar.
6. Lämna aldrig den heta grillen utan uppsikt.
7. Låt grillen bli helt kall innan den rengörs.
8. Använd aldrig vatten för att släcka träkolseldar.

♦ Fäll ut de båda sidorna B på foten och spärra fast dem med
klämmorna C .
Steg 3
♦ Fäll ut grillskålen 2och stick in de två ändplåtarna D uppifrån i
grillskålen 2.

♦ Ställ grillskålen 2på foten . Kontrollera att de två arreteringsplåtarna E
griper tag i öppningarna på foten .
Steg 5
♦ Fäll ut grillgallret 3och för in de två förstärkningsstagen F underifrån
genom gallret 3.
♦ Sätt de båda handtagen G på grillgallret 3.

Steg 6
♦ Lägg gallret 3på foten .
Ta produkten i bruk
OBSERVERA
► Grillen måste värmas upp i minst 30 minuter innan den används första
gången.
VARNING
Varning för brännskador!
► Ställ grillen på ett säkert, plant och stabilt underlag när den ska användas,
annars kan den välta.
► AKTA! Använd aldrig sprit eller bensin för att tända upp eller tända om
elden! Endast braständare enligt EN 1860-3 får användas. Annars kan
det uppstå explosioner och värmeutvecklingen går inte att kontrollera.
♦ Lägg ett lager träkol i grillskålen 2.
♦ Lägg en eller två braständare ovanpå träkolen och tänd dem med en tänd-
sticka eller tändare.
♦ Låt braständarna brinna i 2 - 4 minuter. Fyll sedan långsamt grillskålen 2
med mer träkol.
♦ Efter cirka 20 minuter har det bildats ett skikt av vit aska på grillkolen.
Nu är glöden optimal.
♦ Använd ett lämpligt metallredskap för att fördela kolen jämnt i grillskålen 2.
♦ Lägg på gallret 3och börja grilla.
