Intended use
This barbecue is intended exclusively for the preparation of grilled foods. It is
suitable only for use outdoors. This barbecue is intended for use only in domestic
environments, not for commercial applications.
No liability will be assumed for damages caused by misuse or improper handling,
the use of force or unauthorised modification.

Safety
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling
of the appliance.
This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations.
Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.
Basic Safety Instructions
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
1. During use, place the barbecue on a safe, level and firm surface, otherwise
it could tip over.
2. CAUTION! For igniting and reigniting, do not use spiritus, petrol or similar
liquids! Use only ignition aids complying with EN 1860-3. The deflagration
could cause an uncontrollable development of heat.
3. ATTENTION! During use the barbecue will become very hot and therefore
may not be moved, otherwise it could tip over.
4. ATTENTION! Keep children and pets well away from it!
5. Wear appropriate barbecue gloves when grilling and use grill tongs.
6. NEVER leave a hot barbecue unattended.
7. Let the barbecue cool completely before cleaning it.
8. NEVER use water to extinguish the charcoal.
WARNING
Warning in regard to suffocation!
► Use the barbecue ONLY outdoors!
► Do not operate the barbecue in indoor rooms or roofed-over areas.

The appliance is delivered with the following components as standard:

Take the appliance and the operating manual from the box and remove all pack-
ing material.
NOTICE
► Check the delivery for completeness and for any signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is not complete or is damaged due to defective packaging or
through transportation contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).

Step 1
♦ Press the two locking knobs A on the outside of the stand in and fold it
apart.

Step 2
♦ Swing the two side elements B of the stand to the outside and secure
them with the retaining clamps C .
Step 3
♦ Fold the firebowl 2apart and insert the two end panels D from the top
into the firebowl 2.

♦ Place the firebowl 2in the stand . Ensure that the two arresting plates E
fit into the recesses on the stand .
Step 5
♦ Fold the grill rack 3apart and, from below, slide the two reinforcement
bars F through the grill rack 3.
♦ Attach the two handles G in the grill rack 3.

♦ Place the grill rack 3on the stand .
Commissioning
NOTICE
► Before the first use, the barbecue must be warmed up for at least 30 minutes.
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
► During use, place the barbecue on a safe, level and firm surface, otherwise
it could tip over.
► Warning! For igniting and reigniting, do not use spiritus, petrol or similar
liquids! Use only ignition aids complying with EN 1860-3. The deflagration
could cause an uncontrollable development of heat.
♦ Layer a portion of the charcoal into the firebowl 2.
♦ Place one or two solid firelighters on the existing layer of charcoal and
ignite the solid firelighters with a match or lighter.
♦ Allow the firelighters to burn for 2 to 4 minutes. Then slowly fill the firebowl 2
with charcoal.
♦ After about 20 minutes the charcoal will display a white coating of ash.
The optimal burning temperature has now been reached.
♦ Spread the charcoal, using a suitable metal tool, evenly in the firebowl 2.
♦ Place the grill rack 3on it and start grilling.

Cleaning and Care
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
► Before cleaning it or putting it into storage, allow the barbecue to cool down
completely. NEVER use water to extinguish the glowing charcoal.
Warning in regard to property damage!
► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents as they may damage
the surfaces.
♦ For cleaning the stand , use a dish cloth and water with a commercial
detergent.
♦ Clean the grill rack 3and the firebowl 2with household detergent and
a sponge.
Storage
♦ Dismantle the barbecue in reverse order.
♦ Store the loose parts (end panels, handles and reinforcing bars) in the
firebowl 2.
♦ Store the firebowl 2in the lower part and the grill rack 3in the upper
part of the stand .
♦ Fold the stand together and let the locking knobs A engage.

Disposal
Dispose of flammable materials carefully and with regard to the environ-
ment. Fundamentally, dispose of such remaining waste ONLY into
containers made of metal and intended for this purpose or those made
of non-flammable materials.
Dispose of the barbecue through an approved disposal centre or at your commu-
nity waste facility.Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
please contact your waste disposal centre.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly manner.

Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The
appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before
delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,
please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only
in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects,
but not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile
components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The
warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and
internal tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty
period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to
replaced and repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immedi-
ately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

Sigurnost
U ovom poglavlju primate važne sigurnosne napomene za rukovanje sa uređajem.
Ovaj uređaj odgovara propisanim sigurnosnim odredbama. Nenamjensko kori-
štenje međutim može dovesti do štete po zdravlje i do predmetne štete.
Opće sigurnosne napomene
UPOZORENJE
Upozorenje od opeklina!
1. Roštilj za vrijeme rada postavite na sigurnu, ravnu i čvrstu podlogu, jer u
protivnom može doći do njegovog prevrtanja.
2. OPREZ! Za paljenje ili ponovno paljenje ne koristite špirit ili benzin!
Koristite isključivo sredstva za potpalu u skladu sa normom EN 1860-3.
U protivnom može doći do naglog isparavanja i nekontroliranog razvitka
vrlo visokih temperatura.
3. OPREZ! Roštilj se jako zagrijava i za vrijeme rada ne smije biti pomaknut,
jer u protivnom može doći do prevrtanja uređaja.
4. OPREZ! Djecu i domaće životinje držite dalje od uređaja!
5. Prilikom roštiljanja nosite odgovarajuće zaštitne rukavice i koristite kliješta
za grill.
6. Vrući roštilj nikada ne ostavite bez nadzora.
7. Roštilj prije čišćenja ostavite da se potpuno ohladi.
8. Nikada ne koristite vodu za gašenje drvenog uglja.

► Roštilj koristite isključivo vani!
► Sa roštiljem ne radite u zatvorenim prostorijama niti pod nadkrovljenim
površinama.

Obim isporuke i transportna inspekcija
Uređaj se standardno isporučuje sa slijedećim komponentama:

Izvadite sve dijelove uređaja i upute za rukovanje iz kartona i odstranite sav
materijal pakiranja.
NAPOMENA
► Prekontrolirajte cjelovitost isporuke i ustanovite, postoje li vidljiva oštećenja.
► U slučaju nepotpune isporuke ili oštećenja uslijed oskudnog pakiranja
ili transportnih oštećenja obratite se dežurnoj servisnoj telefonskoj liniji
(vidi poglavlje Servis).

♦ Pritisnite dva bočna gumba za blokadu A na vanjskoj strani stalka
skupa i rasklopite ga.

Korak 2
♦ Zamahnite dva bočna dijela B stalka prema vani i osigurajte ih sa
kopčama za držanje C .
Korak 3
♦ Rasklopite zdjelu za ugljen 2i utaknite dva krajnja lima D s gornje strane
u zdjelu za ugljen 2.

Korak 4
♦ Umetnite zdjelu za ugljen 2u stalak . Obratite pažnju na to, da dva
lima za blokadu E zahvataju u utore stalka .
Korak 5
♦ Rasklopite rešetku roštilja 3i sa donje strane gurnite dva pojačanja F
kroz rešetku roštilja 3.
♦ Zavjesite dvije ručke G u rešetku roštilja 3.

Korak 6
♦ Postavite rešetku roštilja 3na stalak .
Puštanje u rad
NAPOMENA
► Prije prve uporabe roštilj mora bit i zagrijavan najmanje 30 minuta.
UPOZORENJE
Upozorenje od opeklina!
► Roštilj za vrijeme rada postavite na sigurnu, ravnu i čvrstu podlogu, jer u
protivnom može doći do njegovog prevrtanja.
► OPREZ! Za paljenje ili ponovno paljenje ne koristite špirit ili benzin!
Koristite isključivo sredstva za potpalu u skladu sa normom EN 1860-3.
U protivnom može doći do naglog isparavanja i nekontroliranog razvitka
vrlo visokih temperatura.
♦ Jedan dio drvenog uglja posložite u zdjeli za ugljen 2.
♦ Postavite jedan do dva potpaljivača za čvrsto gorivo na postojeći sloj
drvenog uglja i potpaljivače za čvrsto gorivo zapalite šibicom, odnosno
upaljačem.
♦ Potpaljivač za čvrsta goriva ostavite da gore 2 do 4 minute. Nakon toga
napunite zdjelu za ugljen 2polako drvenim ugljem.
♦ Nakon ca. 20 minuta se na drvenom uglju pojavljuje bijeli sloj pepela.
Sada je dostignuto optimalno stanje žarenja.
♦ Raspodijelite drveni ugalj uz pomoć metalnog alata ravnomjerno u zdjeli
za ugljen 2.
♦ Postavite rešetku roštilja 3i započnite sa roštiljanjem.
