Your RocktronVelocity V30R amplifier has been designed to comply with the following Standards

This means that this product has been designed to meet stringent guidelines on how much RF
energy it can emit, and that it should be immune from other sources of interference when properly

and104° F(0° Cand40° C). Thisunit maynotfunction properlyunder extreme
temperatures.

Connecttheoutputofyourguitar tothe1/4”input jackwitha shieldedguitarcable.
CHSELECT Button&LED
ChannelSelect buttonallowsyou toselect betweentheDISTORTION ortheCLEAN channel. Whenthe
ChannelSelect LEDisON (orlit)the DISTORTION channelisactive. When theChannelSelect LEDis
OFF(dark) theCLEAN channelisactive.
EQUALIZATION CONTROLS
DISTORTION CHANNEL
LEVELcontrol
Thisknobdeterminesthe LEVEL(orvolume)ofthe CLEANchannel. Turningthe knobclockwisewill
increasetheLEVEL of thecleanchannel. Turningthe knobcounter-clockwisewilldecrease theLEVELof
thecleanchannel.
CLEAN CHANNEL
GAINcontrol
Thisknobdetermines theamountofGAIN (ordistortion)addedto the signalinthedistortion channel.
Turningtheknobclockwisewill addmoreGAINtothesignal. Turningtheknobcounter-clockwisewill
decreasethe amountof GAINaddedto thesignal.
LEVELcontrol
ThisknobdeterminestheLEVEL(orvolume)of thedistortion channel. Turningtheknob clockwisewill
increasetheLEVEL of thedistortionchannel. Turningtheknobcounter-clockwisewilldecreasethe
LEVELofthedistortionchannel.
BASScontrol
Thisknob controlsthe overallbassof boththeDISTORTION andCLEANchannels. The BASScontrol
boostsor cutstheamount oflowfrequencies,orbasssoundin thesignal.
MIDDLEcontrol
ThisknobcontrolstheoverallMIDDLE frequenciesofboththe DISTORTION andCLEANchannels.
TheMIDDLEcontrol boostsorcutsthe amountofmid-bandfrequencies presentinthesignal.

REVERBcontrol
Adjuststhe amountofreverb addedtoyour guitar’s signal. Turn theknobclockwise toincreasethe effect.
HEADPHONEjack
Pluggingyourheadphones intothisjackdisconnects thesoundgoingto thespeakerandallows youto
practiceinprivate.
POWERswitch
Turns the amp ON and OFF. When the LED is lit, the amp is on.
TREBLEcontrol
Thisknob controlstheoverallTREBLEof boththeCLEAN andDISTORTIONchannels. TheTREBLE
controlboostsor cutstheamountofhigh frequenciespresentinthesignal.

POWERCORDPLUG
Usingthesupplied detachablepowercord, plugtheamplifierinto anystandardwalloutlet. Please besure
tocheck yourlocalwiringand voltagetomake sureyouramplifieris thepropervoltage foryourareaof the
world. Pleasefollowalltheprecautionguidelines foundin thefront ofthis manual.When replacingthe fuse,
pleasebe sureto replacethefuse withthe specificfuse asstatedon thechassis nextto thepowercord plug.

Built-in Chromatic Tuner Functions
ON/OFF button
Pressthis buttontoengage thetunerfunction. Whentuner is“ON”the IN-TUNE(point4) LEDwillbe
blinking.
NOTEdisplay
Thenotes willlightdepending onthenotebeing playedortuned. The dotsbetweenthe notesshowsharp
orflat notes,such asA# orBflat orC# orDflat.
FLATArrow
Whenlit,this arrowshowsthat thenotebeingtuned isFLAT.
Thebuilt-in ChromaticTunerislocated onthetop oftheamplifier. Thetuner iscalibratedtoA440,stan-
dardtuning. Pleasesee belowforfunctiondetails.
IN-TUNELED
Whenlit, thisgreenLED showsthatyou areIN-TUNE.
SHARP Arrow
Whenlit, thisarrowshowsthat thenotebeingtuned isSHARP.

willdecrease theflashing speedasyou approachthe IN-TUNELED. Oncethis GreenIN-TUNE LEDis
lit,thenoteisin tune.

We recommend that you use an authorized repair person to change the fuse in this unit.
To access the fuse, first power down the unit and unplug the cable from the wall outlet and the amplifier.
Using a small screw driver, open the fuse tray by prying open the small tab as shown in the drawing above.
Please note that the tray will not come all of the way out.
Remove the old fuse and replace with a comparable new fuse and close the tray being sure that the tray snaps
into position. You will find the information on the fuse used in the specifications section of this manual.
