Your Rocktron Velocity V30D amplifier has been designed to comply with the following Standards
and Directives as set forth by the European Union:

This means that this product has been designed to meet stringent guidelines on how much RF
energy it can emit, and that it should be immune from other sources of interference when properly

Connecttheoutputof yourguitarto the1/4” inputjackwith ashielded guitarcable.
CHSELECT Button&LED
ChannelSelect buttonallowsyou toselect betweentheDISTORTION orthe CLEANchannel. Whenthe
ChannelSelect LEDisON (orlit)the DISTORTIONchannel isactive. Whenthe ChannelSelectLED is
OFF(dark) theCLEAN channelisactive.
EQUALIZATION CONTROLS
DISTORTION CHANNEL
LEVELcontrol
Thisknobdeterminesthe LEVEL(orvolume)oftheCLEAN channel. Turningthe knobclockwisewill
increasetheLEVEL of theclean channel. Turningthe knobcounter-clockwisewilldecrease theLEVELof
thecleanchannel.
CLEAN CHANNEL
GAINcontrol
Thisknobdetermines theamountofGAIN (ordistortion)addedto the signalinthedistortion channel.
Turningtheknobclockwise willadd moreGAIN tothe signal. Turningthe knobcounter-clockwisewill
decreasethe amountof GAINaddedto thesignal.
LEVELcontrol
ThisknobdeterminestheLEVEL(orvolume)ofthe distortionchannel. Turningtheknobclockwise will
increasetheLEVEL of thedistortion channel. Turningthe knobcounter-clockwisewilldecreasethe
LEVELofthedistortionchannel.
BASScontrol
Thisknob controlsthe overallbassof boththeDISTORTIONand CLEANchannels. TheBASScontrol
boostsor cutstheamount oflow frequencies,orbass soundinthe signal.
MIDDLEcontrol
Thisknobcontrolsthe overallMIDDLEfrequencies ofboth theDISTORTION andCLEAN channels.
TheMIDDLEcontrol boostsorcutsthe amountofmid-bandfrequencies presentinthesignal.

POWERswitch
Turns the amp ON and OFF. When the LED is lit, the amp is on.
TREBLEcontrol
Thisknob controlsthe overallTREBLE ofboththeCLEANand DISTORTIONchannels. TheTREBLE
controlboostsor cutsthe amountof highfrequencies presentin thesignal.

DELAYTIME control
TheDelayTime controladjusts thelengthof delay. Turningthecontrol clockwiseincreases thelengthof the
delay. Turning thecontrolcounter-clockwisedecreases thelengthof thedelay. Notethat theamountof
repeatsis fixedandnot adjustable.
DELAYLEVELcontrol
TheDelayLevelcontroladjuststhe overallvolumeofthe delayeffectmixedinwiththedrysignal. Turning
thecontrolclockwiseincreases thevolume/mix ofthe delay. Turningthecontrolcounter-clockwisede-
creasesthevolume/mixofthedelay.

POWERCORDPLUG
Usingthesupplied detachablepowercord, plugthe amplifierintoanystandard walloutlet. Pleasebe sure
tocheck yourlocal wiringandvoltage tomake sureyouramplifier isthepropervoltage foryourarea ofthe
world. Pleasefollowalltheprecautionguidelines foundinthe frontofthismanual. Whenreplacingthe fuse,
pleasebe sureto replacethefuse withthe specificfuse asstatedon thechassis nextto thepowercord plug.

We recommend that you use an authorized repair person to change the fuse in this unit.
To access the fuse, first power down the unit and unplug the cable from the wall outlet and the amplifier.
Using a small screw driver, open the fuse tray by prying open the small tab as shown in the drawing above.
Please note that the tray will not come all of the way out.
Remove the old fuse and replace with a comparable new fuse and close the tray being sure that the tray snaps
into position. You will find the information on the fuse used in the specifications section of this manual.
