Your Rocktron Velocity V50C amplifier has been designed to comply with the following Standards

This means that this product has been designed to meet stringent guidelines on how much RF

and104° F(0° Cand40° C). Thisunit maynotfunction properlyunder extreme
temperatures.

Thisisa highimpedenceinput jack. Connectthe outputofyour guitarto the1/4”input jackwith ashielded
guitarcable. Use thisjackif youwanta littlemore “edge”toyour input. Noteuseonly theHighor the
Lowinput, notboth atthesame time.
GAINcontrol
Thisknobdetermines theamountof GAIN(or distortion)addedtothe cleansignal. Turningthe knob
clockwisewilladd moreGAIN tothesignal. Turningtheknob counter-clockwise willdecreasetheamount
ofGAIN addedto thesignal.
CHSELECTButton /CLEAN& DIST. LEDs
ChannelSelect buttonallowsyou toselect betweentheCLEAN orthe DISTORTIONchannel. When the
CLEANLED isON (orlit) theCLEAN channelis active. Whenthe DIST.LED isON (orlit) theDIS-
TORTIONchannel isactive.

DISTORTION CHANNEL
LEVELcontrol
Thisknobdeterminesthe LEVEL(orvolume)oftheCLEAN channel. Turningtheknobclockwisewill
increasetheLEVEL of theclean channel. Turningtheknob counter-clockwise willdecreasetheLEVELof
thecleanchannel.
CLEAN CHANNEL
LOWINPUTjack
Thisis alow impedenceinputjack. Connect theoutputof yourguitarto the1/4” inputjackwith ashielded
guitarcable. Use thisjackif youwanta littleless“edge” toyour input. Noteuse onlytheHigh ortheLow
input,notbothat thesametime.
GAINcontrol
Thisknobdetermines theamountofGAIN (ordistortion)addedto the signalin thedistortionchannel.
Turningtheknobclockwisewilladdmore GAINto thesignal. Turningtheknob counter-clockwisewill
decreasethe amountof GAINaddedto thesignal.
LEVELcontrol
ThisknobdeterminestheLEVEL(orvolume)ofthe distortionchannel. Turningtheknobclockwise will
increasetheLEVEL of thedistortion channel. Turningtheknob counter-clockwise willdecrease the
LEVELofthedistortionchannel.

CHORUSbutton
TheChorus buttonactivates thestereochorus. When thebutton ispushed intheChorus isON. When the
buttonis out,the Chorusis OFF.
CHORUSDEPTHcontrol
TheChorusDepth controladjusts theamount ofmodulation. Turningitclockwiseincreases thedepthof
modulation. Turningitcounter-clockwisedecreases thedepthof modulation.
CHORUSRATEcontrol
TheChorusRate controladjuststhespeed ofthemodulation. Turningthiscontrol clockwiseincreasesthe
speed. Turningit counter-clockwise decreasesthespeed.

REVERBcontrol
Adjuststhe amountofreverb addedtoyour guitar’s signal. Turn theknobclockwise toincreasethe effect.
HEADPHONEjack
Plugging your headphones into this jack disconnects the sound going to the speakers and allows you
to practice in private.
POWERswitch
Turns the amp ON and OFF. When the LED is lit, the amp is on.

FOOTSWITCHInputRFS1
UsingaROCKTRON RFS1footswitch(soldseparately) youcancontrolyour channelswitchingviaa
footswitchallowingyou toswitch betweentheCLEANand DISTORTIONchannels.
LINEOUT- OutputJacks- Right &Left
These1/4”output jacksprovidealine levelsignal. Thiscanallow youto plugintoarecording device,
poweramplifier, speakersimulator,PAsystem,etc. Theline outputisnotcontrolled bythemastervolume
control. Pleasefollowallmanufacturer’s instructionswhenpluggingthis productintoanyoutboarddevice.
POWERCORDPLUG
Usingthesupplied detachablepowercord, plugthe amplifierintoanystandard walloutlet. Pleasebe sure
tocheck yourlocal wiringandvoltage tomake sureyouramplifier isthe propervoltagefor yourareaofthe
world. Pleasefollowalltheprecautionguidelines foundinthefrontofthismanual. Whenreplacingthefuse,
pleasebe sureto replacethefuse withthe specificfuse asstatedon thechassis nextto thepowercord plug.

We recommend that you use an authorized repair person to change the fuse in this unit.
To access the fuse, first power down the unit and unplug the cable from the wall outlet and the amplifier.
Using a small screw driver, open the fuse tray by prying open the small tab as shown in the drawing above.
Please note that the tray will not come all of the way out.
Remove the old fuse and replace with a comparable new fuse and close the tray being sure that the tray snaps
into position. You will find the information on the fuse used in the specifications section of this manual.
