
Turn printer off.
Clean the cap top cover
with a paper towel if
necessary and set aside.
Identify the cap cover
being replaced.
Unlock the head carriage.
To unlock the head carriage, gently
push the head carriage to the right
until it clicks, then push it to the
left until the In System area is easily
accessible.
Pull gently to disconnect
the ink line from the
Y adaptor.
Caution: There may be excess ink in
the line. It is recommended to have a
paper towel to catch the excess ink.
Remove the cap top cover
corresponding to the cap
cover being replaced.
Caution: The cap top is spring loaded.
To ensure you do not lose the springs,
gently remove the cap top cover by
placing one finger on the rear while
lifting the small black tab on the front
upwards.
Remove the cap top and
ink line by pulling the cap
top upwards and set aside.
Caution: The cap top is spring loaded.
Be sure not to lose the two springs
located below the cap top.
Remove the In System
cover by removing the
2 screws holding it into
place.
Follow the ink line for the
cap top you’re replacing
to the Y adaptor.
Remove the pump cover
by removing the
5 screws holding it
into place.
