Electricconnectionofthefireplace
Inordertoensurethetransferofheatenergyfromthefireplaceexchangerintotheheatingsystem
andaccumulationtanks,werecommendusingaregulatorthatprovideslogicalswitchingofthefireplace
circulationpump.Aregulatortemperaturesensorneedstobeinstalledinthefireplaceexchangersinkso
thattheregulatorreceivesinformationaboutcurrentfireplacetemperature.Inaddition,itisadvisableto
installanadditionalbackupthermostatonthehotwaterpipeoutletfromthefireplaceexchanger‐the
thermostatconnectionshouldbeconnectedparalleltothefireplacecirculationpump.Incaseofa
regulatordefect,thethermostatensuresthatthefireplacecirculationpumpswitchesonathigh
temperatures.Onesharedsafetybreakerisrecommendedfortheregulatorandthermostat.

Thedescribedcablesmustbeconductedtotheexpectedinstallationsitewithatleast2mreserve,
i.e.tothefireplaceinstallationsiteandtotheauxiliaryelectriccabinetattheheightoftheswitchboard
(approximately1,500mm).Thedescribedcablesarethemostcommonlyusedcables;theselectionand
locationofconcretecablesmustcomplywithvalidregulationsandstandards.Cablesmustalwaysmeetthe
requirementsoftheenvironmentinwhichtheyareinstalled.
Allelectro‐installationsmustbeperformedbyanauthorizedprofessional.
Electricconnectionoftheheatingsystem
RecommendedregulatorsfortheheatingsystemincludeIR07(withoutsolarsystem),IR07SOL
(withsolarsystem),orDeltaSolM(withsolarsystem).Cablesfortheseindividualtypesof
regulatorsdifferandthereforethe2examplesdescribedbelowarethemostfrequentlyusedcables
withDeltaSolMandIR07SOLregulators,whichguaranteeintelligentcontrolofallcomponentsand
heatingsystemsources,includingthesolarsystem.
‐DeltaSolMRegulator
Theregulatorcontrols2sourcesofheat(thefireplace‐basedonacomparisonoftemperaturesin
thefireplaceexchangerandtheaccumulationtank+bivalentsource‐basedontherequiredtemperature
intheaccumulationtankforhotwaterandheating),thesolarsystem,1mixedequithermalheatingcircuit
andhotwaterheating.Thedescribedelectricconnectionoftheheatingsystemalsocorrespondsto
hydraulicconnection‐seeexampleIinchapter7.
TheDeltaSolregulatorisinstalledonthewall,usuallydirectlyinthetechnicalroom(tominimize
cablelength).Heatingunitcontactors(bivalentsource)andheatingequipmentsafetybreakersmaybepart
ofthemainelectriccabinet;however,anauxiliaryswitchboardisusuallyinstalleddirectlyinthetechnical
roomtominimizecablelength.Alltemperaturesensorsandelectriccomponentsoftheheatingsystemare
connectedtotheDeltaSolMregulator;electricheatingunitsareconnectedfromtheswitchboard.
