9. Starting Up
Ensure 2 x AA batteries are inserted correctly (see instructions below)
Pull out the legs on the back of the spinner to enable it to be placed upright.
Place on a flat, stable surface where the user will be able to see the spinner.
If used with a switch, then ensure this is firmly attached and that the switch is placed
where the user can operate it.
10. Detailed Description
Encourage people of all ages and differing abilities to enjoy interactive games together. Great for
inclusion, this is large scale and accessible. Perfect for those who are unable to hold and throw
traditional dice, and for those with visual impairments who cannot see the dots on a standard die
face.
Either press the red button on the front, or connect and activate your own switch to make the
central arrow spin.
Use in turn-taking to select random numbers instead of shaking one or two dice.
Also excellent for early maths skills –add, subtract or multiply the numbers from both dice
together, work out probabilities and use in matching games.
Especially valuable in small groups as the spinner can be stood up on a table (using the integral
fold-down legs) for everyone to see at once.
For the less able, activation helps understanding of choice as well as of cause and effect as well as
providing a multi-sensory reward –the spin is audible and produces a pleasant visual effect.

13. Installation
Accessing the battery compartment back panel door
Remove screw from back panel door
Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment.
Replace the back panel door and screw.
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries, rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, or alkaline
and non-alkaline batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Exhausted
batteries are to be removed from the product. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged
under adult supervision.
Activating the Spinner
Press the large red button to activate the spinner.
Activate an external switch connected to the spinner via the jack socket on the side of the device.
Using an external switch
Different switches can be connected to operate the Spinner by using a 2.5mm plug into the
switch jack located on the side of the device. Activate the external switch to spin the arrow.
Note: The arrow pins for a brief time period of less than ten seconds. Activating a switch
repeatedly or holding a switch down will not impact on the outcome of the player’s spin.
Additionally, one the arrow stops, there is a slight delay time during which additional switch
activations will not cause the arrow to spin. This ensures that players have the time to read the
outcome of the spin.
Using the Stand
Pull out the legs from the back of the Spinner to place in an upright position.

14. Care and Maintenance
Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Dry thoroughly immediately after wiping.
15. Troubleshooting
If the Spinner fails to operate properly, please check the following:
Ensure batteries are properly positioned. The positive and negative ends are aligned with
those in the battery compartment.
Make sure that both ends of the batteries are touching the metal contacts in the battery
compartment and that the batteries being used have a full charge.
Ensure there are no obstructions which could prevent operation of the Spinner.
If there is a decrease in the number of spins, duration of the spins or an increase in the amount of
time you need to wait between activations then it is very likely that the batteries are likely to be
low in charge. Please replace these.

7. Algemeen
Het product is bestemd voor binnen gebruik. Het kan op twee manieren gebruikt worden, door
de grote rode knop in te drukken of u verbindt een schakelaar naar keuze met de spinner.
8.In gebruik nemen
Plaats 2 x AA batterijen op de juiste manier
Trek de pootjes aan de achterkant van de schakelbare spinner uit, zodat het rechtop
komt te staan.
Plaats het op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond waar de gebruiker de schakelbare
spinner goed ziet.
Indien u het product met een schakelaar gebruikt, zorg dan dat deze stevig vastzit en
dat de schakelaar wordt geplaatst, zodat de gebruiker deze goed kan bedienen.
9. Aanvullende informatie
Mensen van alle leeftijden genieten samen van dit interactieve spel. Perfect voor wie het
onmogelijk is een traditionele dobbelsteen vast te houden en te gooien. Ook voor mensen met
een visuele handicap die de puntjes niet kunnen zien op een standaard dobbelsteen is het een
fijne oplossing.
Druk op de rode knop op de voorkant, of verbind en activeer uw eigen schakelaar om de pijl te
laten draaien.
Ook uitstekend te gebruiken voor rekenvaardigheden - optellen, aftrekken en vermenigvuldigen
van de nummers van beide dobbelstenen.
De schakelbare spinner is vooral waardevol in kleine groepen als deze op tafel kan staan, zodat
iedereen het goed in één keer kan zien. De schakelbare spinner is hoorbaar en produceert een
aangenaam visueel effect.

12. Installatie
Toegang tot het batterijcompartiment
Verwijder de schroef van het achterpaneel
Plaats twee AA-batterijen in het batterijcompartiment.
Plaats het achterpaneel terug en schroef het dicht.
Let op: Mix geen oude batterijen met nieuwe batterijen. Tevens is het niet verstandig om
herlaadbare baterijen met niet-herlaadbare baterijen te mixen en alkaline batterijen met niet-
alkaline batterijen. Lege batterijen moeten verwijderd worden uit de schakelbare spinner.
Oplaadbare batterijen mogen alleen opgeladen worden onder toezicht van een volwassene.
Activeren van de Spinner
Druk op de grote rode knop om de spinner te activeren.
Voor het activeren van een externe schakelaar sluit u deze aan op de schakelbare spinner via de
stekkerdoos aan de zijkant van het apparaat.
Het gebruik van een externe schakelaar
Er kunnen verschillende schakelaars worden aangesloten op de schakelbare spinner door een 2,5
mm plug in aan te sluiten aan de zijkant van het toestel. Activeer de externe schakelaar om de pijl
te laten draaien.
Let op: Het is de bedoeling dat u niet te snel achter elkaar op de rode knop drukt. Laat er
minimaal 10 seconden tussen zitten. De pijl functioneert dan namelijk het beste.
Het gebruik van de standaard:
Trek de poten aan de achterkant van de schakelbare spinner los, zodat het rechtop geplaatst kan
worden.

13.Verzorging en onderhoud
Reinigen met een vochtige doek.
Daarna onmiddellijk volledig met een droge doek na poetsen.
14.Problemen oplossen
Als de schakelbare spinner niet naar behoren werkt, controleer dan het volgende:
Zorg dat de batterijen op de juiste manier geplaatst zijn. De positieve uiteinden en de
negatieve uiteinden moeten afgestemd zijn op het batterijcompartiment.
Zorg ervoor dat beide uiteinden van de batterijen de metalen contacten in de
batterijcompartiment aanraken en dat de batterijen volledig geladen zijn.
Zorg ervoor dat er geen obstakels zijn die de werking van de schakelbare spinner kunnen
voorkomen.
Als er een daling is in het aantal rotaties of een toename van het aantal tijd die u nodig hebt om
te wachten tussen activeringen dan is het zeer waarschijnlijk dat de batterijen leeg zijn. Vervang
deze dan.
