Alle Arbeiten an diesem Ex-Gerät dürfen nur von qualifiziertem
Fachpersonal in Anlehnung an die IEC 60079-14 ausgeführt
werden. Jegliche nachträgliche Modifikation muss im Rahmen
dieser Betriebsanleitung liegen.
Zielgruppe dieser Anleitung sind Elektrofachkräfte und
unterwiesene Personen in Anlehnung an die IEC 60079-14.
Bei Zuwiderhandlung erlischt die Betriebserlaubnis!

1.Sicherheitshinweis
Aufbewahrung der Anleitung
Die Betriebsanleitung ist sorgfältig zu lesen und am Gehäuseeinbauort
aufzubewahren. Für den ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb sind alle der Lieferung
beigelegten Dokumente sowie die Betriebsanleitungen der anzuschließenden
Komponenten zu beachten.
Gehäuse nur für den zugelassenen Einsatzzweck verwenden!
Für Schäden, die durch fehlerhaften oder unzulässigen Einsatz sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung dieser Betriebsanleitung entstehen, übernimmt die ROSE
Systemtechnik GmbH keine Haftung.
Das Gehäuse darf nur im unbeschädigten Zustand betrieben werden.
Kein unbefugtes Arbeiten am Gehäuse!
Installation, Instandhaltung, Wartung und Störbeseitigung dürfen nur von dazu
befugtem und entsprechend geschultem Personal durchgeführt werden.
Beachten Sie folgende Hinweise bei Installation und Betrieb:
- Beschädigungen können den Explosionsschutz aufheben
- Nationale und örtliche Sicherheitsvorschriften
- Nationale und örtliche Unfallverhütungsvorschriften
- Nationale und örtliche Montage- und Errichtungsvorschriften
- Den Stand der Technik
- Sicherheitshinweise dieser Betriebsanleitung
- Hinweis- und Typenschilder auf oder in dem Gehäuse
Funktion
Die Ex-Leergehäuse sind teilbescheinigte Basiskomponenten (U-Zertifizierung) und
dürfen nur im Rahmen einer Komplettzertifizierung im Ex-Bereich verwendet werden.
Erdung/Schutzleiteranschluss
Ex-Gehäuse sind gemäß den Vorgaben in IEC 60079 ff., IEC 61439 ff. sowie IEC
60364-5-54 zu erden.
Der Potentialausgleich ist grundsätzlich herzustellen. Die
Gehäuse verfügen immer über einen inneren und/oder äußeren
Erdanschluss.
- Die Leitungen müssen nahe am Gehäuse fest verlegt werden.
- Es sind alle Metallteile, unabhängig von der Betriebsspannung,
ins Schutzleitersystem gemäß der gültigen Normgebung
einzubeziehen
Kabel- und Leitungseinführung, Verschlussstopfen
Nach IEC 60079-0 Anhang B dürfen nur geprüfte und bescheinigte Kabel- und
Leitungseinführungen sowie Verschlussstopfen verwendet werden.
Gemäß IEC 60079-17 sind Sie als Errichter bzw. Instandhalter in der Verpflichtung,
Leitungseinführungen und Verschlussstopfen vor Inbetriebnahme auf festen Sitz zu
kontrollieren bzw. entsprechend den Angaben der Kabelverschraubungshersteller
den festen Sitz zu garantieren.
Zusätzlich sind die Bedingungen der IEC 60079-14 zu berücksichtigen.
Installation
Für das Errichten/Betreiben sind die relevanten IEC-Normen und nationalen
Vorschriften für Gerätesicherheitsgesetze sowie der anerkannte Stand der
Technik bindend.
Der elektrische Anschluss des Betriebsmittels darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen (IEC 60079-14).
Bei der Installation ist auf eine leitfähige bzw. ableitfähige Verbindung zur
Erde zu achten. Zu verwenden sind die im und am Gehäuse gekennzeichneten
Erdungspunkte.
Bei dem Aluminiumgehäuse 25.606020 und den Edelstahlbaureihen IG und
IGS 34.xxxxxx und RMS R3/R4 xxxxxxxxx muss nach Entfernen der
Kunststoffstopfen im Boden die Montage mittels der kunststoffummantelten
Zahnscheiben (im Beipack) erfolgen.
Für eine IP schutzgeeignete Installation dürfen nur original ROSE-
Montagematerialien verwendet werden.
Unsachgemäße Installation und Betrieb der
explosionsgeschützten Leergehäuse kann zum Verlust der
Gehäuseschutzart führen.
Reparaturen, die den Explosionsschutz betreffen, dürfen nur von
ROSE oder einer qualifizierten Elektrofachkraft in
Übereinstimmung der Produktsicherheitsverordnung und der
gültigen Rechtsprechung durchgeführt werden (IEC 60079-19).
2.Montage, Gebrauchslage
In freier Witterung wird empfohlen, das explosionsgeschützte Betriebsmittel mit
Schutzdach oder -wand auszurüsten.
Die Gehäuse können bei senkrechter Montage in beliebiger Ausrichtung montiert
werden.
Bei waagrechter Montage muss sich der Deckel oben befinden. Eine hängende
Montage, bei der der Deckel überhängt, ist nicht zulässig!
3.Inbetriebnahme
Stellen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme sicher, dass:
- das Gehäuse und Dichtungen nicht beschädigt sind.
- die Kabelverschraubungen nicht beschädigt sind.
- das Gehäuse vorschriftsmäßig installiert ist.
- sich keine Fremdkörper im Gehäuse befinden.
- alle lösbaren Verbindungen fest angezogen sind.
- der elektrische Anschluss ordnungsgemäß durchgeführt ist.
4.Instandhaltung, Wartung und Störbeseitigung
Die Art und der Umfang der Prüfungen ist den entsprechenden nationalen
Vorschriften zu entnehmen. Die Fristen sind so zu bemessen, dass entstehende
Mängel, mit denen gerechnet werden muss, rechtzeitig festgestellt werden. Sobald
Sie das Leergehäuse zu einem elektrischen Gerät zugelassen haben und es als
solches verwenden, achten Sie auf folgende Punkte!
Gefahr durch Stromschlag!
Vor dem Öffnen des Gerätes Spannungsversorgung unterbrechen.
Überprüfen Sie bei der Wartung folgende Punkte:
- das Gerät und Dichtungen nicht beschädigt sind.
- die Kabelverschraubungen nicht beschädigt sind.
- das Gerät vorschriftsmäßig installiert ist.
- sich keine Fremdkörper im Gerät befinden.
- alle lösbaren Verbindungen fest angezogen sind.
- der elektrische Anschluss ordnungsgemäß ausgeführt ist.
- überprüfen auf Kontaktkorrosion.
5.Entsorgung
Beachten Sie die nationalen Vorschriften zur Abfallbeseitigung.
6.Normenkonformität
Diese Betriebsmittel sind für explosionsgefährdete Bereiche geprüft und
bescheinigt nach:
- IEC 60079-0; IEC 60079-7

Die Leergehäuse sind als Basiskomponenten für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten
Bereichen der Zonen 1,2,21 und 22 geeignet.
7.Technische Daten
Die technischen Daten sind allgemein gehalten und müssen immer auf den
jeweiligen Einsatzzweck hin überprüft werden.

All work on this Ex-instrument must be carried out only by
qualified specialist personnel following IEC 60079-14. Any
subsequent modification must be within the framework of this
operating manual. The target group of these instructions is
electrical specialists and suitably trained staff following
IEC 60079-14.
The operating permit expires in the event of non-compliance!

1.Safety instructions
Storage of the instructions
Read the operating manual carefully and keep them at the place where the
enclosure is fitted. In order to ensure correct operation, note the contents of all the
documentation included with delivery and the operating manual for all the
components which are connected.
Use the enclosure only for the intended and authorised purpose!
ROSE Systemtechnik GmbH does not accept any liability whatsoever for any
damage which is caused by faulty or unauthorised use or by failure to follow the
operating manual.
The enclosure must only be used in an undamaged condition.
No unauthorised work on the enclosure!
Installation, maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting procedures must only be
carried out by personnel who are authorised to do so and have been trained
accordingly.
Please note the following instructions for installation and operation:
- Damage may result in the loss of explosion protection
- National and local safety regulations
- National and local accident prevention regulations
- National and local mounting and installation regulations
- State of the art technology
- The safety information contained in these operating manual
- Information and type plates on or inside the enclosure
Function
The explosion-protected empty enclosures are partly certified basic components (U
certification) and must only be used in explosive-endangered areas within the
framework of full certification.
Earthing/Protective conductor terminal
Explosion-proofed enclosures must be earthed in accordance with the
specifications in IEC 60079 ff., IEC 61439 ff. and IEC 60364-5-54.
Potential equalisation must be carried out in all cases. The
enclosure always provides for an internal and/or external earth
connection.
- The cables must be laid fixed in position and close to the
enclosure.
- All metal parts – irrespective of operating voltage – must be
integrated in the protective conductor system and in accordance
with the current applicable standards.
Cable and wire entries, blanking plugs
In accordance with IEC 60079-0 appendix B, use only tested and certified cable
and wire entries and blanking plugs.
IEC 60079-17 states that you, as the installer and/or maintenance specialist, are
obligated to check that the cable entries and blanking plugs have the required tight
fit before commissioning and/or to ensure the required tight fit in accordance with
the information provided by the manufacturers of the cable glands.
In addition, take into account the requirements specified in IEC 60079-14.
Installation
For setting up and operation, the relevant IEC norms and national regulations in
respect of equipment safety acts and the latest state of the art technology are
decisive.
Electrical connection of the equipment must only be carried out
by specialist staff (IEC 60079-14).
During installation, always ensure that there is a conductive or dissipative
connection to the protective earth. The earthing points in and on the enclosure
must be used.
For aluminium enclosure 25.606020, stainless steel enclosures IG and IGS
34.xxxxxx and RMS R3/R4 xxxxxxxxx, following removal of the plastic plugs in the
base, mounting must take place using plastic-enclosed tooth lock washers (in the
accessory pack).
For installation which is suitable for IP protection, use only original ROSE mounting
materials.
Incorrect installation and operation of empty enclosures which
are protected against explosions may result in the loss of the type
of enclosure protection.
Repairs which affect explosion-proofing must only be carried out
by ROSE or a qualified electrician and in accordance with the
product safety ordinance and currently valid legislation (IEC
60079-19).
2.Mounting, mounting position
In the event of exposure to the open air and the elements, we recommend fitting the
explosion-proofed equipment with a protective roof or wall.
If mounted vertically, the enclosures can be orientated as required.
If mounted horizontally, the lid must be on top. Suspended mounting in which the lid
overhangs is not permitted!
3.Initial operation
Before initial operation, always ensure that:
- the enclosure and seals are undamaged.
- the cable glands are undamaged.
- the enclosure has been installed in accordance with the regulations.
- there are no foreign bodies in the enclosure.
- all connections which can be loosened are tightened tightly.
- electrical connection has been carried out correctly.
4. Maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting
The type and extent of the tests must be determined in accordance with the relevant
national regulations. The periods of times for tests must be arranged in such a way
that any defects which must be expected can be determined in good time.
As soon as you have approved the empty enclosure for use as an electrical device,
note the following:
Danger of electrical shock!
Disconnect the power supply before opening the device.
During servicing, check the following:
- the enclosure and seals are undamaged.
- the cable glands are undamaged.
- the enclosure has been installed in accordance with the regulations.
- there are no foreign bodies in the enclosure.
- all connections which can be loosened are tightened tightly.
- electrical connection has been carried out correctly.
- any corrosion to the contacts.
5. Disposal
Always follow the national regulations in respect of waste disposal.
6.Standard conformity
This equipment has been tested and certified for use in explosive-endangered
areas in accordance with:
- IEC 60079-0; IEC 60079-7

The empty enclosures are suitable for use as basic components for use in explosion-
endangered areas in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
7.Technical data
The technical data are expressed in general terms and must always be checked
regarding the individual intended use.
