Thank you for purchasing this Rositek product.
Before using this device, please read these instructions and Safety
Precautions carefully.
After reading and familiarizing yourself with the device, store the manual in a
safe place for future references.
RMP2 is Rositek 2-ton manual heat press with a customized leverage system with an extra-long
handle. It’s portable, small, and effortless; Solid frame, non-rusting & non-breaking.
The following precautions are provided to prevent harm or injury to yourself and others.Please make
sure to thoroughly read, understand, and follow these precautions before using. After reading and
familiarizing yourself with the equipment, store the manual in a safe place for future references.
• Use this product only as described in this manual.
• Keep the equipment out of the reach of children at all times.
• Unplug the heat press from the electrical outlet and let it cool down
COMPLETELY before cleaning, performing maintenance, or repair.
• DO NOT operate the product after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or
damaged in any way.
• Clean the plates with isopropyl alcohol and wipe them dry with a clean cloth.
Ensure both plates are completely dry before use.
• DO NOT leave any cords near a heat source.
• DO NOT handle a power plug or other components of the press with wet hands.
• DO NOT connect too many power plugs to the same power outlet.
• Remove dust around the plug and power cord with a clean dry cloth.
• DO NOT disassemble the press or make any modifications to the equipment
without professional instructions.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
• The press must be operated on a hard, level surface, away from its edges to
prevent accidental tipping over.
• Always attach the power cord to the press first, then plug it into the wall outlet.
• To unplug the press, turn OFF the power switch, only then remove the plug from
the outlet.
• DO NOT touch the press’s hot surfaces. Use heat-resistant gloves or tools.
• Keep your hands and other body parts away from the moving parts to
prevent injury.
• This press comes with a power cord that fits into a standard household 3-
prong outlet (110V American market ).
• DO NOT attempt to use the equipment with a two-prong electrical cord or
any other way without proper grounding.
• DO NOT exceed the rated capacity.
• Always turn the machine OFF and unplug it when done using.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the box on a flat surface.Open the box and remove the user guide
and all parts that came with the device.
2. Examine the device after unpacking for any damage. If found one, take a
picture and contact Rositek at support@rositek.com immediately.
Before starting, please make sure that the following items are included with
your device. If anything is missing, contact Rositek.

UNPACKING

PREPARING
PRESS
1. Prepare materials you wish to press.
2. Make sure the press stands on a shorter flat workbench or ground.
3. Ensure the press is clean and free of residue or dust buildup.
4. Make sure the switch is turned OFF.
5. Insert the included power cord into the power cord socket and then
plug the other end into an electrical outlet.

Tips: We do not recommend changing the internal parameters, it will cause a lot of problems.
Once a problem occurs after the modification, please set the default setting back as below
steps:
1. Hold the "SET" key over 5 seconds to activate the controller.
2. Press the "SET" again to switch parameters.
3. Press the "SHIFT" key to switch between the hundreds, tens, and ones place.
4. To set the parameter with the key of " down" or "up".
5. Please ensure all parameter is the same as above value.
6. Hold the "SET" key over 5 seconds to exit the setting mode.

WORKBENCH
OPERATION
1. Place the machine on a shorter workbench in order to operate effortlessly.
2. Wait until the platens heat up to the setting temperature after plug-in.
3. Load the prepared material in the center of the bottom platen.
4. Hold the armrest of the machine while pressing the handle down until hear
a sound of "click".
5. Hold down your hand on the machine pedal, and then pull up the handle
after time is up.
6.You need to re-press material after adjusting the pressure knob (clockwise
to increase the pressure) for a better yield.
7. Remove the pressed material using heat resistant gloves or tools and
exercising extreme caution.

The PID control panels are used to set temperature for deal heated platen.
Please follow the steps below to record the desired settings:
1. Use “SHIFT” key to shift left and right position.
2. Press “UP” and “DOWN” keys to set the desired temperature.
3. Press “SET” key to record all control panel’s setting.The platens start heating,
and PV is now displayed on the screen.
Tips: (1) We recommend loading 3.5-5g material at a time for a better result.
(2) The parchment paper is a must during the extraction, but filter bags and prepress
mold is optional. ( 2x4.5” pressing bags and 30mm cylinder/round prepress mold is
a recommendation; 2x4.5” bags allows cutting into half for double use.)
1. Operating the miachine on the ground is the first recommended method.
2. Wait until the platens heat up to the setting temperature after plug-in.
3. Place the prepared material in the center of the bottom platen.
3. Hold the armrest of the machine, then tilt the machine backward at a 45-
degree angle, while pressing the handle down until hear a sound of "click".
4. Step your foot on the machine pedal, and then pull the handle up after
time is up.
5.You need to re-press material after adjusting the pressure knob (clockwise
to increase the pressure) for a better yield.
6. Remove the pressed material using heat resistant gloves or tools and
exercising extreme caution.

TROUBLESHOOTING
How to Replace PID Module?
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Lay down the machine backward with the pedal facing up.
2. Between the pedal and the base, you will find the locking mechanism of the PID module.
3. Use a small flathead screwdriver to depress in on the locking mechanism of the PID
module.
4. While depressing the locking mechanism, simply slide out the front of the box, the PID module
from the housing.
5. Install the replacement PID module received (remove it from the included housing first).
6. Once the PID module is installed and locked into place,reinstall the power cord.
7. Turn on the power switch.

1. Turn the machine off by flipping ON / OFF switch when done pressing.
2. Unplug and then disconnect the power cord from the press.
3. Wait until the press cools down completely to clean and store it.
CLEANING
PRESS PLATES
1. Make sure the press plates are completely cooled down before cleaning.
2. Apply a small amount of alcohol to a clean cloth and wipe down the plates
until clean. Use rubbing alcohol that contains at least 80% by volume of
isopropyl alcohol.
3. Wipe plates with a dry clean cloth.
4. Repeat these steps for cleaning all associated tools.
