oDieses Gerät kann von Personen mit

sicheren Gebrauchs des Geräts unterwiesen

oDieses Gerät darf nicht von Kindern benutzt
werden. Das Gerät und seine Anschlussleitung sind
von Kindern fernzuhalten.

ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS
oDie Kochplatte darf nur an eine ordnungsgemäss installierte Schutzkontakt-
Steckdose angeschlossen werden. Die Steckdose muss mit 10 Ampere abgesichert
sein. Die Anschlussleitung darf nicht herunter hängen und darf nicht mit der heissen
Kochplatte in Berührung kommen. Auch Anschlussleitungen von anderen
Elektrogeräten in der Nähe dürfen die heisse Kochplatte nicht berühren.
INBETRIEBNAHME
oGerät nur auf wärmebeständiger, ebener Fläche aufstellen.
oVor der ersten Benutzung die Kochplatten ohne Kochtopf ca. 5 Minuten auf
maximaler Stufe einschalten, damit die aufgetragene Schutzschicht einbrennen kann.
Die Platte ist dadurch gegen Rost geschützt. Den Raum dabei gut lüften. Die hierbei
vorübergehende Rauchentwicklung ist normal.
oVerwendete Töpfe oder Pfannen müssen am Boden immer sauber und trocken sein.
ANWENDUNGSBEREICHE DER SCHALTSTUFEN
oDie Kochplatten werden über den Thermostatknopf eingeschaltet und geregelt.
Grundsätzlich erst den Topf auf die Kochplatten stellen, dann einschalten. Zum
schnellen Ankochen auf maximale Schaltstufe einstellen. Wenn der Kochpunkt
erreicht ist, auf eine niedrigere Stufe zurückstellen. Nach dem Gebrauch Netzstecker
herausziehen.
TÖPFE UND KOCHGESCHIRR
oNur Kochgeschirr mit ebenem Boden und an die Kochplatten angepasstem
Durchmesser verwenden. Zu grosse Töpfe und unebene Topfböden verursachen
längere Ankochzeiten und erhöhen den Stromverbrauch. Töpfe immer gross genug
wählen, damit die Kochplatte bedeckt ist und sich kein Überlaufgut darauf festsetzen
kann.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
oVor dem Reinigen Netzstecker ziehen und Gerät abkühlen lassen. Gerät nie in Wasser
tauchen!
oÜbergelaufene Speisereste mit feuchtem Lappen und Spülmittel beseitigen.
oKeine scharfen Putz- oder Scheuermittel verwenden.
oDie Kochplatten regelmässig mit einem handelsüblichen Pflegemittel einstreichen
um den Rostschutz zu gewährleisten.
ENTSORGUNG
oZur ordnungsgemässen Entsorgung geben Sie das Gerät bitte an einen Händler, den
Kundendienst oder Rotel AG zurück.
oDie Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) legt fest,
dass Haushaltsgeräte nicht mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden dürfen.
Altgeräte sind getrennt zu sammeln, um einerseits Wiederverwertung und Recycling
zu optimieren und andererseits potenzielle Gesundheits- und Umweltgefahren zu
verhindern. Die durchgestrichene Mülltonne erscheint auf allen Produkten, um die
Besitzer an ihre Verpflichtung zur Mülltrennung zu erinnern. Für weitere
Informationen zur fachgerechten Entsorgung von Haushaltsgeräten setzen Sie sich
bitte mit ihren lokalen Behörden oder dem Händler in Verbindung.

RACCORDEMENT ÉLECTRIQUE
oLa plaque de cuisson doit être raccordée impérativement à une prise de courant de
sécurité installée dans les règles de l’art. La prise doit être calibrée avec 10 ampères.
La conduite de raccordement ne doit pas pendre et ne doit pas entrer en contact avec
la plaque de cuisson chaude. De même, les lignes de raccordement d’autres appareils
électriques à proximité ne doivent pas entrer en contact avec la plaque de cuisson
chaude.
MISE EN SERVICE
oN’installer l’appareil que sur une surface plane résistant à la chaleur.
oAvant la première utilisation, enclencher les plaques de cuisson, sans marmites,
durant environ 5 minutes à puissance maximale, afin que la couche de protection
appliquée puisse brûler. La plaque est ainsi protégée contre la rouille.
Conjointement, bien aérer le local. Le dégagement passager de fumée qui intervient
est normal.
oLes marmites ou les poêles utilisées doivent toujours avoir un fond propre et sec.
CHAMPS D’APPLICATION DES NIVEAUX DE PUISSANCE
oLes plaques de cuisson sont enclenchées et commandées par l’intermédiaire d’un
thermostat avec commutateur. En principe, installer tout d’abord la marmite sur la
plaque de cuisson, ensuite enclencher. Pour une cuisson rapide, régler le
commutateur sur la position la plus élevée. Lorsque le degré de cuisson est atteint,
revenir en position inférieure. Après utilisation, retirer la fiche d’alimentation.
MARMITES ET BATTERIE DE CUISINE
oN’utiliser que des ustensiles à fond plat et d’un diamètre adapté aux plaques de
cuisson. Des marmites trop grandes et des fonds de marmites non planes sont
responsables de temps de cuisson plus élevés et augmentent la consommation de
courant. Toujours choisir des marmites suffisamment grandes pour que la plaque de
cuisson soit entièrement couverte et qu’aucun produit ne puisse déborder dessus.

NETTOYAGE ET SOINS
oAvant le nettoyage, retirer la fiche d’alimentation et laisser refroidir l’appareil. Ne
jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau!
oEnlever les restes de nourriture qui ont débordé avec un chiffon humide et à l’aide
d’un produit à vaisselle.
oNe pas utiliser de détergents agressifs ou de poudres à récurer.
oEnduire régulièrement les plaques de cuisson avec un produit d’entretien courant
pour assurer une protection contre la rouille.
ÉLIMINATION
oPour une élimination dans les règles de l’art, veuillez remettre l’appareil à un
revendeur, un responsable du service après-vente ou Rotel SA.
oSelon la directive européenne 2012/19/UE relative aux déchets d’équipements
électriques et électroniques (DEEE), les appareils électroménagers ne doivent pas
être éliminés avec les déchets solides urbains normaux. Les appareils hors d’usage
doivent être collectés séparément pour optimiser le coût de réutilisation et de
recyclage des matériaux contenus dans la machine tout en évitant les risques
potentiels pour la santé publique et l’environnement. Le symbole de poubelle barrée
figure sur tous les produits pour rappeler à leur propriétaire les obligations de tri
sélectif des déchets. Pour de plus amples informations sur la mise au rebut correcte
des appareils électroménagers, les consommateurs sont invités à contacter les
autorités locales ou vendeurs d’électroménagers.

ALIMENTAZIONE ELETTRICA
oIl fornello può essere collegato esclusivamente a una presa regolarmente installata
con contatto di terra. La presa deve essere protetta mediante una valvola da 10 A. Il
cavo di alimentazione non deve penzolare né venire a contatto con la piastra calda.
Aver cura che nemmeno i cavi degli altri apparecchi elettrichi che si trovano vicino
vengano a contatto della piastra calda.
MESSA IN FUNZIONE
oIl fornello deve essere posato esclusivamente su un piano resistente al calore e
orizzontale.
oPrima del primo impiego, mettere in funzione le piastre senza pentola per circa 5
minuti alla potenza massima, per bruciare lo strato di protezione applicato. In tal
modo la piastra resta protetta dalla ruggine. Per questa operazione ventilare bene il
locale. La passeggera formazione di fumo che si può osservare è assolutamente
normale.
oControllare che le pentole e le padelle che si utilizzano abbiano sempre il fondo pulito
e asciutto.
COMANDI E REGOLAZIONE
oLe piastre vengono accese e regolate mediante la manopola del rispettivo
termostato. Come regola generale, mettere sempre prima la pentola sulla piastra e
poi accendere quest’ultima. Per un bollore rapido, scegliere la potenza massima. Non
appena si raggiunge il punto di ebollizione, diminuire la potenza. Dopo l’uso staccare
la spina.
PENTOLE E STOVIGLIE
oUsare esclusivamente pentole con un fondo piano e un diametro adeguato . Le
pentole troppo grandi o con un fondo deformato impiegano molto tempo per portare
il liquido a bollore e fanno aumentare il consumo di corrente. Scegliere pentole di
diametro sufficiente per coprire tutta la piastra ed evitare che il liquido
eventualmente fuoriuscito possa incrostare la piastra.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
oPrima di pulire il fornello, staccare la spina e lasciarlo raffreddare. Non immergere
mai il fornello in acqua!
oEliminare con un panno umido e un po’ di detersivo i residui dei liquidi fuoriusciti.
Non impiegare detersivi aggressivi o abrasivi.
oPassare le piastre regolarmente con uno dei normali prodotti di manutenzione che si
trovano in commercio, onde evitare la formazione di ruggine.
SMALTIMENTO
oPer lo smaltimento corretto, la macchina deve essere restituita al rivenditore
specializzato, al servizio di assistenza o alla ditta Rotel AG.
oLa Direttiva UE 2012/19/CE sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche
(WEEE) sancisce che gli elettrodomestici non possono essere smaltiti usando il
normale ciclo di rifiuti solidi urbani. Le apparecchiature dismesse vanno invece
raccolte separatamente al fine di ottimizzare il costo di riutilizzo e dei materiali di
riciclo che compongono la macchina, escludendo così un danno potenziale alla salute
pubblica e all’ambiente. Il simbolo del bidone su ruote barrato appare su tutti i
prodotti per ricordare ai proprietari le obbligazioni inerenti la raccolta differenziata.
I proprietari dovrebbero rivolgersi alle autorità locali o al rivenditore delle
apparecchiature per raccogliere ulteriori informazioni in merito al corretto
smaltimento delle apparecchiature stesse.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all instructions before using the device.
oThis appliance can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
oThis appliance must not be used by children. The
appliance and its connecting cable must be kept
away from children.
oThe appliance must be disconnected from the mains
during periods of no supervision and prior to
assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
oThe hot plates must be connected to a socket that has been installed correctly and
earthed. The socket must have a 10 amp fuse. The power cable must not hang down
or come into contact with the hot plates. Power cables of other electrical appliances
must also not come into contact with the cooking plates.
BEFORE STARTING THE APPLIANCE
oOnly place the appliance on level, heat resistant surfaces.
oBefore using the hot plates for the first time, turn the hobs on to maximum for about
5 minutes without placing a pan on the top, so that the protective layer can burn off.
This protects the hob against rust. Ventilate the room well when you do this. The
smoke that comes off is completely normal and will not happen again in normal use.
oThe bottom of any pots and pans you use must be clean and dry.
HOW TO USE THE SETTINGS
oThe hot plates are switched on and controlled using the thermostat knob. First place
the pan on the hot plate and then switch it on. To cook the contents quickly adjust
the knob to the highest setting. When you reach boiling point, turn the knob back
down to a lower setting. After you have finished, pull the plug out.
PANS AND COOKWARE
oOnly use cookware that has a flat bottom and with a width that will fit on the hot
plate. If the pan is too wide or uneven, it will take longer to cook the contents and
use more electricity. Always choose pans that are big enough to cover the hot plate
so nothing can spill out and get stuck to it.

CLEANING AND CARE
oBefore cleaning the hot plates always pull the plug out and let the appliance cool
down. Never immerse the appliance in water!
oWipe up any food that has spilled out with a damp cloth and some washing up liquid.
oNever use any abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads.
oRegularly apply a commercially available care product to ensure the appliance
remains rustproof.
DISPOSAL
oFor proper disposal, please return device to a retailer, a service agent or Rotel AG.
oEuropean Directive 2012/19/EC concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) states that household appliances should not be disposed of using
the normal solid urban waste cycle. Exhausted appliances should be collected
separately in order to optimise the cost of re-using and recycling materials comprising
the machine, while preventing potential damage to public health and the
environment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol appears on all products to remind
owners of the obligations regarding separate waste collection. Owners should
contact their local authorities or appliance dealers for further information concerning
the correct disposal of household appliances.

oWarranty commitment
We commit ourselves to repair this device free of charge, should a failure occur within the period of warranty despite proper
handling. We repair all defects caused by material or manufacturing faults. The guarantee will be fulfilled either by repairing
the device or replacing the defective parts, according to our judgement. A warranty does not cover damages due to wearing
parts, damages and defects caused by improper handling or maintenance (such as limescale and commercial use). It will only
be granted if either the warranty card stating date of purchase, dealer's stamp and signature, or the purchase receipt is sent
with the device to the relevant after-sales service (see address below). Devices shall be returned in their original packaging.
Transport costs are to be borne by the purchaser. Remember to specify your address to your sending, as well as a short
declaration about the failure, shall the defect not be obvious.
