Important Information
•This product has been developed exclu-
sively for use as a rotating inspection win-
dow for metal-cutting machine tools. No
other applications of the product are per-
mitted.
•Rotoclear is a registered trademark of Ro-
toclear GmbH in Germany and in other
countries.
•Polycarbonate safety panels for machine
tools wear out and embrittle due to their
exposure to oil-based cooling lubricants
and thus can no longer perform their
safety function. They need to be replaced
after a certain period of use.
•The type plate is part of the machine. Any
change of the machine, including removal
of the type plate, will result in the loss of
conformity and the exclusion of any prod-
uct warranty.
•Upon receipt of the product, recheck the
parameters of use. You may find appropri-

Operating Instruction

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Bei Werkzeugmaschinen werden Kühlmittel zur
Reduzierung der Wärme bei der Zerspanung ein-
gesetzt. Das auftreffende Kühlmittel wird durch
die Drehbewegung des Werkzeuges oder des
Werkstückes weggeschleudert und haftet an der
Innenseite der Schutzumhausung bzw. deren
Sichtfenster.
Die Sicht ist beeinträchtigt. Rotoclear wird auf die
Innenseite des vorhandenen Sichtfensters der
Werkzeugmaschinentür montiert. Die rotierende
Scheibe bzw. der Rotor von Rotoclear schleudert
den auftreffenden Kühlschmierstoff und die
Intended use
Machine tools are used with coolants to re-
duce the heat generated during the metal cut-
ting process. The coolant will be thrown off
due to the rotary movement of the tool or
work piece and adheres to the inside of the
protective enclosure or its viewing window.
The visibility is impaired.Rotoclear is generally
fitted on the internal side of the existing view-
ing window of the machine tool door. The ro-
tary panel of Rotoclear throws off coolant and
chips, leaving a clear view of the set-up and
the machining process.

sich ausschließlich auf die Anwendung in Fräsma-
schinen, bei Werkzeugmaschinen, Bearbeitungs-

plications in machine tools, milling machines,
machining centers, automatic lathes, test
benches and as a viewing window.
It is not allowed to point the coolant directly
towards the rotating window. It is not allowed
to partially or fully submerge the unit in water
or coolant.

Vorbereitung der Teile
Preparation of Components
Der Rotor wird getrennt vom Stator ver-
packt. Bewahren Sie den Rotor auf einer
sauberen Unterlage oder in der Originalver-
packung auf. Achten Sie beim Auspacken un-
bedingt auf Sauberkeit.
The Rotor is separate packed from the Stator.
Keep the disc on a clean surface or in the original
packaging. Watch for absolute cleanliness when
unpacking the item.
Im Rotor befindet sich ein Magnet. Achten
Sie auf magnetische Kräfte, wenn Sie ein ak-
tives medizinisches Implantat haben. Halten
Sie einen Abstand zwischen Implantat und
Rotor von mindestens 2 cm ein.
An annular magnet is located in the rotor. If you
wear an active medical implant, beware of mag-
netism and keep a minimum distance of 2 cm be-
tween the implant and the rotor.

Lösen Sie die Abdeckung am Klemmenkas-
ten und lockern Sie die Schrauben der Zu-
gentlastung.
Entfernen Sie die Verschlussschraube
M16x1,5. Legen Sie alle Teile zurück in die
Verpackung oder auf eine saubere und
nichtmetallische Ablage.
Open the terminal box cover and loosen the
screws on the strain relief. Remove screw plug
M16x1.5. Place all parts back into the shipping
container or on a clean and non-metallic surface.

Montage durch Kleben
Installation with adhesive flange
Der Kleber beeinflusst die Eigenschaften von
Polycarbonat. Das Kleben auf PC ist nur mit
Primer zulässig. Klebeanweisung beachten.
The adhesive affects the properties of polycar-
bonate. Bonding polycarbonate is allowed only
with primer. Follow application instructions.
Die Befestigung mit dem Klebeflansch erfolgt
bei allen Verbundscheiben auf der Seite des
Kühlmitteleinsatzes.
Fastening with bonding flange is based on lami-
nated safety glass on the side of the coolant.

Reinigen Sie die Scheibe gründlich mit einem
fettlösenden Mittel (z.B. mit Isopropanol),
und wischen Sie mit einem weißen,
fusselfreien Tuch nach. Die Scheibe muß
sauber, fettfrei und trocken sein.
Thoroughly clean the machine window,using a
degreasing agent (e.g. IPA), and finish wiping
the window with a white, lint-free cloth. The
window must be clean, free of grease and dry.

Der Klebeflansch muss plan aufsitzen und
ausgerichtet sein.

Markieren Sie die Ausrichtung und Position
für den Klebeflansch. Entfernen Sie die
Schutzfolien auf dem Kleberücken der
Taschensegmente.
Mark the position and alignment of the
bonding flange on the interior of the window.
Remove protective film from the rear adhesive
side of the pocket segments.

Drücken Sie den Klebeflansch gleichmäßig
fest an die Scheibe. Bereiten Sie die Klebe-
pistole vor und pressen Sie einen Strang aus
der Mischdüse, so daß der Kleber gemischt
ist. Pressen Sie den 2K-Kleber langsam in die
Bohrungen zwischen den Hülsen, bis der
Kleber aus den Kontrollbohrungen austritt.
Führen Sie den Vorgang 10x aus. Abb. 4a.3
Tightly and evenly press the bonding flange
onto the window. To blend the adhesive,
prepare the glue gun and press some epoxy
glue through the mixing tube. Now slowly press
the glue into the bore between the two pins
until the glue leaks out of the check bore holes.
Repeat the process for all 10 sectors. Fig.4a.3


Align the Logo in a horizontal position and
mount the housing. Tighten the enclosed
M5x20 tx10 screws to a torque of 1.1 Nm. Fig.

Achten Sie auf den korrekten Sitz des
O-Rings.
Verify that the seal ring is properly seated.
Reinigen Sie nun die Gegenseite. Entfernen
Sie die Schutzfolien von der Blende. Kleben
Sie die Blende positionsgenau und fest auf.
Now clean the opposite side. Remove the
protective films from the cover plate. Press the
cover plate to position accurately and firmly.

Montage mit Schrauben
Screw-mounted Installation
Die Befestigung durch einen Lochkreis wird bei
Fräsmaschinen und -zentren mit Polycarbonat-
Scheiben (PC) eingesetzt.
An installation with a circle of holes is used on
milling machines with polycarbonate windows
(PC).
Das Bohren und das feste Einspannen der Poly-
carbonat-Scheibe können die Eigenschaften der
Scheibe beeinflussen. Nehmen Sie die Installa-
tion durch Fachkräfte vor. Halten Sie die Anzugs-
drehmomente ein. Achten Sie bei alten Schei-
ben oder nach längerer Nutzungsdauer auf
Risse und Eintrübungen an der Maschinen-
scheibe. Ersetzen Sie die Scheibe rechtzeitig.
The drilling and the fixed clamping of the pol-
ycarbonate disc can affect the properties of
the disc. Make the installation by profession-
als. Observe the tightening torques. Make
sure when old discs or after a longer service
life for cracks and cloudiness on the machine
window. Replace the disc in time.
Die Lochkreismontage darf, aufgrund der durch
Beschussversuche ermittelten Rückhaltefähig-
keit, nicht bei Drehmaschinen angewendet wer-
den. Verfahren Sie nach 4a.

Based on the retention capacity determined
during ballistic tests, the pitch circle must not
be installed on lathes. Proceed according to
4a. See section 13 for more information.

Bohren Sie mit unten dargestellten Maßen einen
Lochkreis in die Polycarbonatscheibe. Reinigen
Sie die Innen- und Außenseite der Scheibe
gründlich mit Isopropanol. Abb. 4b.1
Drill holes into the polycarbonate disc using
the dimensions shown below.
Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior
surfaces of the window with IPA. Fig. 4b.1

Richten Sie das Logo horizontal aus und
montieren Sie das Gehäuse. Setzen Sie den Be-
festigungsring von außen in die Bohrungen ein
und stecken Sie dann den Stator auf die Bolzen
von Innen auf. Drehen Sie die Schrauben M5x20
Tx10 ein und ziehen diese mit dem Drehmo-
ment von 1,1 Nm fest. Abb. 4b.2
Align the Logo in a horizontal position and
mount the housing. Place the mounting
adapter into the bores and fit the stator onto
the bolts from the interior. Tighten the M5x20
Tx10 screws to a torque of 1.1Nm.


Fast jedes Rotoclear S bzw. S2 lässt sich mit
dem Kit Ersatz für S und S2 ersetzen. Es ist
komplett kompatibel zum Typ 600,
Typ 500 kann ersetzt werden, wenn mindes-
tens 40mm Einbauraum zur Verfügung ste-
hen. In der Regel kann die bestehende
Stromversorgung weiterhin verwendet wer-
den.
Rotoclear S/S2 Typ 500 ist außen angeschlos-
sen. Für die Durchführung durch die Polycar-
bonatscheibe können Sie die Kabelführung
verwenden.

Ersatz für S und S2.
Bitte Sicherheitshinweise auf der Anleitung
beachten.
Nearly every Rotoclear S or S2 can be replaced
with the kit „Replacement for S and S2”. It is
compatible with Type 600, which is being re-
placed completely.
Type 500 can be replaced if at least 40mm of
installation space is available. Normally the ex-
isting power supply may be used.
Rotoclear S / S2 Type 500 is connected exter-
nally. You can use the cable bushing to run the
cable through the polycarbonate pane.

For electrical installations seek the help of
skilled experts.

Ziehen Sie das Kabel aus der Klemmendose her-
aus. Befestigen Sie das Anschlusskabel an der ab-
isolierten Seite mit der Zugentlastung und
schrauben Sie den Schutzschlauch ein. Legen Sie
die Verschraubung nur an und ziehen Sie diese
maximal ¼ Umdrehung fest. Der Adapter dichtet
mit O-Ring. Halten Sie beim Anschließen des
Schutzschlauches den bereits eingeschraubten
Adapter gegen.
Pull the cable out of junction box. Fix the
stripped end of the cable to the strain relief and
screw in the fitting for the protective hose. After
touching the adapter to connecting box, you
have to tighten adapter more 90°. Don’t tighten
more than 90°. The adapter is O-ring sealed.
Hold up adapter when connecting the protect-
ing hose or tube.
Achtung! Bei Verwendung von anderen Adaptern
oder nicht sachgemäß eingedrehten Adaptern
kann das Gehäuse sprengen.
Attention! In case of using a different adapter or
in case of incorrect mounting the housing may
break.

Verbinden Sie die Kabelenden mit der Lüster-
klemme und achten Sie auf die
Polarisierung von L1 und L2. (Braun + Blau -)
Connect the wire ends to the luster terminal
and watch the polarity of L1 and L2. (brown +
blue -)

Verschließen Sie den Klemmenkasten mit den
vorgesehenen Schrauben (Drehmoment 1,1 Nm)
und achten Sie dabei darauf, dass keine Kabel
eingeklemmt und gequetscht werden.
Close the junction box with the screws enclosed
(torque 1.1 Nm) and make sure that no wire be
clamped or crushed.

Fixieren Sie das Kabel (über Kabelschlepp und
Festverlegung) zum Schaltschrank und binden Sie
das Gerät in die Maschinensteuerung ein.
Fix the cable (with cable drag and fixed routing)
to the control box and link the unit with the
control system.
Rotoclear sollte aus Dichtheitsgründen an die Ein-
schaltzeit der Maschine gekoppelt sein und die
ganze Zeit laufen.
For waterproof reasons make sure that the Ro-
toclear device always be connected with the
runtime of the engine.

Das Kabel wird im Arbeitsraum der Werkzeug-
maschine durch den Schutzschlauch oder das
Schutzrohr gezogen. Durch diesen Schutz-
schlauch wird Luft nach innen zum Gerät ge-
führt. Die Sperrluft verhindert das Eindringen
von Kühlmittel. Die Sperrluft muss grundsätzlich
angeschlossen sein. Durch unterschiedliche Di-
mensionen der Leitungen muss der Einstell-
druck individuell angepasst werden. Abb. 6.2

must be connected fundamentally. Due to dif-
ferent dimensions and lengths of cables, the

Prüfen Sie den Staudruck in der Box. Benutzen

Verändern Sie den Einspeisedruck bis Sie min-
destens einen Staudruck von 2mbar (200Pa) er-
reicht haben.

Press adapter onto the open connecting box.
Adjust the feed pressure until the dynamic pres-
sure of 2 mbar (200Pa) is reached.

Wenn die Dimensionen und Längen nach Abb.

speisedruck auf ca. 0,5 bar eingestellt werden.
In Abhängigkeit vom Abstand zwischen Einspei-
sung und Rotoclear kann der Druck von 0,3 bis
2 bar notwendig sein um einen Durchfluss von
mindestens 1,2 Nm³/h zu erreichen. Eine ge-
naue Einstellung (Abb. 6.1) reduziert den Luft-
verbrauch.

Montage Rotor
Rotor Assembly
Der Rotor ist mit Selten Erden Magneten be-
stückt. Durch die starken Magnetfelder kön-
nen Späne und Partikel auf der Innenseite
des Rotors anhaften.
Späne und magnetische Partikel lassen sich
mit einen handelsüblichen Haftmagneten
von der Rotorscheibe aufsammeln.
The rotor is fitted with rare earth magnets. Due
to the strong magnetic fields chips or particles
may adhere to the interior surface of the rotor.
Chips and magnetic particles may be picked off
the rotor by a commercial magnetic clamp.
Im Rotor befindet sich ein Magnet. Achten
Sie auf magnetische Kräfte, wenn Sie ein ak-
tives medizinisches Implantat haben. Halten
Sie einen Abstand zwischen Implantat und
Rotor von mindestens 2 cm ein.
An annular magnet is located in the rotor. If you
wear an active medical implant, beware of mag-
netism and keep a minimum distance of 2 cm
between the implant and the rotor.

Reinigen Sie die Rotorscheibe von anhaften-
den Partikeln und Spänen. Setzen Sie dann
den Rotor auf den Flansch des Stators auf.
Schrauben Sie die Senk-schraube M10x1
(Drehmoment 2Nm, max. 2,5Nm) in der
Mitte ein und ziehen Sie diese fest. Halten
Sie dabei am äußeren Rand den Rotor mit
der Hand fest. Prüfen Sie zum Abschluss den
mechanischen Freilauf des Rotors durch
Drehen von Hand.
Clean the rotor from adhesive particles or
chips. Put the rotor onto the flange of the sta-
tor. Screw and tighten the M10x1 (torque 2Nm,
max. 2,5Nm) countersunk screw into the center
manually supporting the rotor edge. Finally,
check the freewheel performance of the rotor
by manually turning the device.

Inbetriebnahme, Betrieb
Start-up, Operation
Nach dem Einschalten bzw. Spannung anlegen
beschleunigt der Rotor bis zu einer Drehzahl
von ca. 2300 Umdrehungen pro Minute. Es muss
ein Staudruck von 2-5mbar in der Anschlussbox
herrschen. Nur bei Drehung und Sperrluft ist das
System dicht und schleudert den auftreffenden
Kühlschmierstoff weg. Die Sicht auf den Prozess
ist frei.
After having switched on, or, applied voltage,
respectively, the rotor accelerates up to a ro-
tor speed of 2300 RPM. The connecting box
must show a dynamic pressure of 2-5mbar.
The system must rotate and have sealing air
pressure to be tight and to expel the coolant
outward providing an unrestricted view of the
process.

Do not touch the rotating window while it is in
operating state. Risk of minor injuries.

dichte im Nennbetrieb sind in untenstehender
Tabelle benannt. Kontaktieren Sie den Hersteller
des medizinischen Implantats zur Ermittlung des
individuell minimal einzuhaltenden Abstands.
A magnet is located in the rotor. If you wear
an active medical implant, beware of mag-

At rated operation of the system there is the
possibility that active implants can be influ-
enced in immediate proximity.
Please find the measured values in the below

Die Maschinen- Sicherheitsscheibe kann sich
beim Beschuss durch wegfliegende Teile nach au-
ßen beulen. Befestigungsteile von Rotoclear kön-
nen sich dabei lösen und zu Verletzungen führen.
Halten Sie beim Betrieb den von dem Werkzeug-
maschinenhersteller vorgegebenen Abstand zur
Maschinenscheibe ein.
In the case of impact of flying fragments the
safety window can be deformed significantly.
Elements of Rotoclear could loosen due to im-
pact and cause physical injury. Thus during
operation keep the safety distance required
by the machine tool´s manufacturer.


Im Falle einer Überlast schaltet der Motor ab und
beschleunigt nach kurzer Zeit erneut auf die Be-
triebsdrehzahl.

In case of overload, the motor will switch off
and will, after a short while, accelerate again
to operating speed.
Make sure that the coolant jet does not point
towards the unit directly, but towards the cut-
ting tool instead.
Betreiben Sie Ihre Maschine nicht mit Rotoclear
ohne aufgesetzten Rotor. In das System eindrin-
gende Kühlschmierstoffe oder auftreffende
Späne können es beschädigen und zum Ausfall

Do not operate your machine with Rotoclear
without the rotor placed on. Coolant lubri-
cants or shavings getting into the system can
damage it and lead to failures. This will void
the warranty.

Wartung
Maintenance
Besonders wichtig ist die regelmäßige Prüfung
auf Verschmutzung und die bei Bedarf not-
wendige, zeitnahe Reinigung. Nur bei regel-
mäßiger Pflege und Reinigung ist der prob-
lem-lose, dauerhafte Betrieb von Rotoclear
möglich. Die erforderliche Dichtheit und die
geringen Spaltmaße des Rotoclear, verbunden
mit einem teilweise hohen Verschmutzungs-
grad in Maschinen (vor allem
im Mehrschichtbetrieb), macht dies erforder-
lich.
Unterschiedliche Konzentrationen der Kühl-
schmierstoffe und deren Einsatzzeit, Alumini-
umbearbeitung und wechselnde Minimalmen-
genkühlung verschlechtern die Sicht durch
Belag auf der Scheibe.
Sie haben mit Rotoclear ein System, bei
dem sich die rotierende Scheibe einfach aus-
bauen, reinigen oder wechseln lässt. Abb. 9
It is important to regularly check the unit for
possible contamination and have it cleaned
if necessary. The operation of Rotoclear will
only be permanently trouble-free with peri-
odical maintenance and cleaning. This is
necessary due to the required tightness and
the small gap of Rotoclear in combination
with a high degree of contamination on the
machines (particularly in multi-shift opera-
tions).
Different concentrations of coolants in com-
bination with their operating time, machin-
ing of aluminum and variable minimal quan-
tity cooling produce a film on the glass and
thus deteriorate the view.
Rotoclear is a system that is very simple to
maintain. The rotating window can easily be
removed, cleaned, or replaced. Fig. 9

niger. Groben Schmutz oder Kalk entfernen
Sie bitte mit einem Glasschaber.

tating. Loose the center screw and remove
the rotor. Clean the outside of the rotor
with isopropanol or another mild cleaning
agent for PCs or glass.
Use a glass scraper to remove significant
contamination or scale.
Der Hersteller empfiehlt, eine Wechselscheibe
vorzuhalten und diese im Wechsel einzuset-
zen und zu reinigen. Dadurch hat der Anwen-
der immer eine gute Sicht auf das Geschehen
und optimale Fertigungsvoraussetzungen. Der
Rotor ist ein Verschleißteil. Das Verschmutzen
der Scheibe ist kein Reklamationsgrund.
The manufacturer recommends to keep a
replacement panel in stock that you may
clean and use alternately. This will always
provide you with a good view of the process
and ideal operating conditions. The rotor is
a wear part. Surface contamination is not a
reason for customer complaint.

duziert wechselnde Töne. Der Rotor ist mecha-
nisch blockiert.
The rotating window does not rotate and pro-
duces variable sounds. The rotor is mechani-
cally blocked.

Machen Sie das System elektrisch spannungslos.
Prüfen Sie manuell den Freilauf durch Drehen
des Rotors von Hand.
Verify that the electrical power is off. Check the
free rotation of the rotor by hand.

Bei Verwendung von kalkhaltigem Wasser kann
sich im Spaltbereich eine Kruste an der Innen-
seite des Rotors bilden. Entfernen Sie die Kruste
mit einem Messer oder Schaber rückstandsfrei.
When using hard water may be in the gap area,
a crust forming on the inside of the rotor. Elimi-
nate the cake with a knife or a scraper residue-
free.

Möglicherweise befinden sich Schmutz im Spalt
zwischen dem Stator und dem Rotor. Im Falle von
eisenhaltigen Spänen reinigen Sie den Bereich
um die magnetischen Felder. Benutzen Sie ggf.
Dirt or chips may be embedded in the gap be-

Do not place the rotor on a dirty workbench,
but use a clean cardboard surface instead.
Bei vermehrtem Auftreffen von Spänen und sich
wiederholenden Störungen durch Schmutz emp-
fehlen wir den Innendruck zu erhöhen.
If there is significant chip exposure and the sys-
tem malfunctions repeatedly, we recommend
increasing the internal pressure.
Erhöhen Sie den Einspeisedruck um max. 0,5 bar
und prüfen Sie die Höhe des dynamischen Dru-
ckes in der Anschlussbox. Montieren Sie die rotie-
rende Scheibe wieder. Prüfen Sie den mechani-
schen Freilauf mit der Hand und schalten Sie das
Gerät ein.
Increase the feed pressure by max. 0.5 bar and
check the velocity pressure in the connecting
box. Reinstall the rotating window. Verify the
mechanical free rotation of the rotor by hand.
Switch on the power.
10.2
Die rotierende Scheibe bleibt stehen und läuft
nach kurzer Zeit wieder an.
The rotor stops rotating and resumes rotation
after a short period.
Der Motor hat eine eingebaute Schutzfunktion.
Wenn der Motor eine große Last erfährt und sich
dadurch erwärmt, so schaltet die Überlastsiche-
rung ab und schaltet nach kurzer Zeit wieder ein.
The motor has an internal safety function. If the
motor overheats because of a heavy load, the
overload function cuts power and switches back
on after a short period of time.
Machen Sie das System erneut elektrisch span-
nungslos.
Make sure that the electrical power is off.

Vermeiden Sie direkten Kühlmittelstrahl auf die
rotierende Scheibe. Prüfen Sie ob die rotierende
Scheibe an einem Gegenstand schleift.
Do not point the coolant directly at the rotating
window. Check if the rotating window runs
smoothly or if it rubs against something.

Achten Sie auf starke Erwärmung im Zentrum.
Mind overheating in the center.
10.3
Die rotierende Scheibe dreht sich nicht.
The rotating window does not rotate.
Die rotierende Scheibe lässt sich von Hand um
360° drehen und läuft nach Anstoß frei.
The rotating window is mechanically free, ro-
tates by 360° when moved manually, and spins
freely when initiated by hand.

Prüfen Sie ob die Spannung richtig gepolt ist und
klemmen Sie ggf. die Adern um.
Check the right polarity of the system and swap
the wires when needed.

Prüfen Sie, ob die richtige Spannung anliegt und
ob die Stromversorgung ausreichend ist.
Check the right voltage and if the power supply
is sufficient to start the system.
In Abb. 5.1gibt es Hinweise zum Anschluss und
zur Polung. Rotoclear ist intern gegen falsche Po-
lung, Über- und Unterspannung geschützt. Es
handelt sich um einen Elektronikmotor. Sie kön-
nen durch Messung des Innenwiderstandes nicht
auf die Funktion des Motors schließen.

and polarity, see fig. 5.1.
Rotoclear is internally protected against wrong
polarity and low or high voltage. It is not possi-
ble to check the function of the motor by meas-
uring its impedance.
Schalten Sie die Spannung ab. Stellen Sie die
elektrische Verbindung korrekt her und schließen
Sie nach Prüfung der anliegenden Spannung die
Abdeckung der Anschlussbox. Unterbrechen Sie
die Stromzufuhr und montieren Sie unter Beach-
tung der Sauberkeit den Rotor. Nehmen Sie Ro-
toclear elektrisch und mit Innendruck in Betrieb.
Switch off electrical power. Connect the electri-
cal wire correctly and close the cover of the
junction box after checking the electrical power.
Disconnect power and mount the rotor while
observing cleanliness. Operate Rotoclear under
power and with internal pressure.
10.4

Machen Sie das System stromlos und entfernen

fernen Sie die 10 Befestigungsschrauben auf der
Stirnseite des Gehäuses. Nehmen Sie das Ge-
häuse (Stator) vorsichtig heraus und reinigen Sie
Scheiben und Gehäuse gründlich. Reinigen Sie
die Innenseite der Maschinenscheibe und prüfen
Sie bei einer Klebebefestigung den Sitz des Flan-
sches. Montieren Sie das Gehäuse wieder und
achten Sie dabei auf den gleichmäßigen Anpress-
druck des O-Rings an der Scheibe.
Switch off electrical power, remove rotor and
electrical wire. Remove the screws (10times) on
the front face of the housing. Carefully remove
the housing (stator) and thoroughly clean the
window and housing. Clean the inside of the
machine window and check the adhesion of a
glued flange (when appropriate). Reinstall the
housing and verify the uniform contact pressure
of the seal ring against the glass.
Then follow the startup procedure.
10.5

no longer possible.

schnell wechselbar. Machen Sie das System
stromlos und entfernen Sie nach Auslauf den Ro-
tor. Reinigen Sie je nach Verschmutzungsgrad die
Oberfläche mittels eines Glasschabers und be-
nutzen Sie zur Nachpolitur z.B. Reiniger für Cer-
anfelder oder Glasreiniger. Montieren Sie den Ro-
tor wieder und schalten Sie den Strom zu.

quickly replaced. Switch off the power and re-
move the rotor after it has come to a stop.
Clean the surface of the rotor using a glass
scraper, depending on the degree of contami-
nation. Use glass cleaner for stove-top glass
plates or another glass cleaner to polish the ro-
tor. Remount the rotor and switch on the
power.
