2GENERAL INFORMATION
2.1 Master code [PIN1]
Number combination (6 to 8 digits) to open the
electronic lock and the authorized code for making the
settings.
When you put your safe into operation, change the
factory master code (see section 4.1) to a personal
master code. Test the master code you have stored
several times before storing valuables in your safe.
Factory-master code:
1–2–3–4–5–6
2.2 User code [PIN2]
Number combination (6 to 8 digits) to open the
electronic lock and to make limited settings.
The electronic lock has no user code active from the
factory. To activate a user code, follow the procedure
described in section 4.2.
2.3 Signals
[G]1Short acoustic signal and green LED light
up once (3) - confirmation when pressing a key on the
keyboard (1).
[G]2Short double-beep and two green LED
light up (3) - confirmation of a correct entry(eg: code).
[R]-- Long acoustic signal and red LED (4)
flashes once - error message (eg: wrong code).
[R]5Short simple acoustic signal and five red
LED light up (4) –Warning: Battery Low. See point
5..1 Battery change.
* For variants of the keyboard, use the «#» key instead
of the «Enter» key to confirm the entry.
3Open / Close
3.1 Opening the electronic lock
3.1.1 Opening with the factory master code

After correctly entering the first code [PIN2] [Enter],
the second code [PIN3] [Enter] must be entered
within 1 minute, while the green LED [
G]1 (see point
2.3) lights up every 5 seconds.
3.1.5 Opening with the time delay
[ON][PIN1 oder PIN2][Enter*]
[Wait for the programmed time delay]
[PIN1 oder PIN2][Enter*]
[PIN1 or PIN2] must be entered again while the
programmed opening window is active.
After the time delay expires an alarm sounds.
If the [Enter] key is pressed during the opening delay,
the opening delay is canceled and the opening must be
restarted.
After entering a correct code, the green LED (3)
lights up briefly and you can open the electronic lock
by turning the hinged handle (2) clockwise to the right
within 5 seconds.

If an incorrect code is entered three times consecutively,
the electronic lock is locked for five minutes. During this
blocking period, the red LED (4) lights up regularly and the
electronic lock can not be operated.
3.2 Closing
Close the door and rotate the handle (2)
counter-clockwise to the left until it stops. Check to be
sure your safe is correctly closed.
4Programming
It is recommended to make changes (code change,
...) only with the door open.
After a code change, test the code you have stored
several times with the door open before closing your
safe.
The electronic lock can not be programmed if the
power supply is too low, as indicated by the "Battery
Low" warning - see section 2.3 [R]5

Before a user code [PIN2] can be activated, the
master code [PIN1] must be changed from the factory
settings to a personal master code [PIN1] (see
section 4.1).

4.5 4.5 Enable the dual-code function
Before you can activate the dual-code function,
at least one user code [PIN2] must be activated,
see section 4.2.
When dual-code function is activated, two
codes must be entered for the opening.

5Baterry change / external power supply
5.1 Battery Replacement
The battery is located on the inside of the door.
According to the lock model, a battery holder as
shown (Fig.5.1a) is shown or installed below
(Fig.5.1b)
Remove the battery cover (see Fig. 5.1a) or pull
out the battery holder (see Fig. 5.1b)

Insert a new high quality 9-volt battery.
(Do not use rechargeable batteries or
non-alkaline batteries).
Close the battery holder.
5.2 Opening with an external power supply
Take a new high quality 9 Volt battery..
Hold the battery on the two contacts (see Fig.
5.2). Pay attention to the correct polarity when
inserting the battery !!

Enter an access-authorization code [PIN1]or

Turn the handle (2) clockwise to the right within
5 seconds.
Remove the battery from the contacts and
replace the battery on the inside of the door
(see Fig. 5.1).
