SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Please read these instructions carefully and
keep them for further references.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when
it is connected to a power source; if it has not
cooled down for approximately 1 hour.
• The iron must be used and rested on a flat,
stable, heat-resistant surface.
• When you place the iron on the iron rest,
make sure that the surface on which you
place it is stable.
• Always unplug your appliance: before filling,
or rinsing the water tank, before cleaning it,
after each use.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years of age when it is
energized or cooling down.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a save way and understand
the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
• Damages on the iron’ soleplate and the
steaming function due to use of the wrong
water (see ‘what water may be used ?’) and
missing maintenance (see ‘Anti calc’) cannot
be accepted as return under warranty.
• The appliance must not be used if it has
fallen to the floor, shows evident of damage,
leaks or fails to function correctly. Never
dismantle you appliance. To avoid any
danger, have it inspected in an approved
service centre.
• The surfaces which are marked with this
sign and the soleplate are very hot
during the use of the appliances. Don’t
touch these surfaces before the iron is
cooled down.

IMPORTANT RECOMMANDATIONS
• The voltage of your electrical installation must correspond to that of the
iron (220-240V). Always plug your iron into an earth socket. Connecting to
the wrong voltage may cause irreversible damage to the iron and will
invalidate the guarantee.
• If you are using a mains extension lead, ensure that it is corrected rated
(16A) with an earth, and is fully extended.
• If the electric power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an Approved
Service Centre in order to prevent any danger.
• Do not unplug your appliance by pulling on the cord.
• Never immerse your steam iron in water or any other liquid. Never hold
it under the water tap.
• Never touch the electric cord with the soleplate of the iron.
• Your appliance gives off steam, which may cause burns, especially when
you are ironing close to the edge of your ironing board.
• Never direct the steam towards people or animals.
• For your saftey, this appliance conforms to the applicable standards and
regulations (Low Voltage, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental
Directives).

th iron g ntly.
1 • What water may be used ?
Your iron has been designed to operate using untreated tap water. If in doubt, check
with your local water authority. However, if your water is very hard, you can mix
50% untreated tap water with 50% distilled or demineralised water.

2 • Filling the water tank
IMPORTANT B for filling th wat r tank, unplug th iron and s t th st am control to dry
position .
Tilt the iron. Open the filling inlet (fig.6). Pour in water up to the max mark (fig.7).
Close the filling inlet (fig.8) and return the iron to the horizontal.
3 • Temperature and steam adjustment
Set the iron temperature to suit the type of material using the temperature control
dial (fig.3).
Temperature control*: The temperature control light indicates that the soleplate is
heating up. When the temperature control light goes off (fig.10), the set
temperature is reached and you can begin ironing.

4 • Dry ironing
Set the variable steam control to (fig.11) and set the temperature to suit the type
of material (care points •, ••, •••).
5 • Steam ironing
You can steam iron from temperature setting •• upwards.
Steam function* : The steam quantity can be set to between no steam (minimum
steam quantity) and maximum steam quantity (fig.12).
We recommend setting to maximum steam quantity only when the iron is at
temperature setting •••.
6 • Shot of steam

Press the shot of steam button to generate a powerful jet of steam (fig.14).
Wait a few seconds between each shot before pressing the button again.
7 • Vertical shot of steam

TIP Hold th iron 10 to 20 c ntim tr s away from th garm nt to avoid burning d licat fabrics.
Hold the iron to the vertical and press the shot of steam button ( fig.15) to remove
creases from suits, jackets, skirts, hanging curtains etc.
Wait a few seconds between each shot before pressing the button again.

8 • Spray
Press the spray button to dampen stubborn creases (fig.16).
9 • Anti-Drip system*
This prevents water escaping from the soleplate when the temperature is too low.
10 • Automatic electronic 3-position cut-off*
If, although switched on, the appliance is not moved, it will automatically switch off
and the auto off light will blink after the following intervals:
- After 30 sec., if the iron is left resting on the the soleplate or lying on its side.
- After 8 mins., if the iron is left resting on its heel.
To switch the iron back on, move the iron gently.

AFTER USE
11 • Emptying
Unplug the iron (fig.4), pour away remaining water (fig.17) and set steam control to
.
Open and close the steam control several times to prevent the valve hole into the
steam chamber from scaling or blocking up.
12 • Storing
Allow the appliance to cool down before storing the iron standing on its heel
(fig.18).

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

13 • Anti-scale system
Your iron contains an anti-scale cartridge to reduce scale deposits. This
considerably prolongs the operational life of your iron.
The anti-scale cartridge is an integral part of the water tank and does not need to
be replaced.
IMPORTANT Do not us d scaling ag nts, as th s damag th lining of th st am chamb r
and so may impair th st am function.
14 • Anti Calc function
(prolongs the life of the iron)
The Anti Calc function flushes dirt and scale particles out of the steam chamber.
Fill the water tank with untreated tap water up to the max mark and heat the iron to
the ••• temperature. Unplug the iron and hold it over a sink horizontally. Hold the
steam control into the Anti Calc position (fig.5) and shake the iron gently : steam
will now begin to build up. After a few seconds water will emerge from the
soleplate, rinsing dirt and scale particles out of the steam chamber.
Move the steam control to
. position after approx. 1 minute.
Plug in the iron and allow the iron to heat up again. Wait until the remaining water
has evaporated. Unplug from the mains and allow the iron to fully cool down.
When cool, the soleplate can be wiped with a damp cloth.

15 • Cleaning the iron
When the appliance has cooled down, wipe it down with a damp cloth or sponge,
as required.
Remove the dirt from the soleplate with a damp cloth or sponge.
IMPORTANT Do not us sharp or abrasiv cl aning ag nts or obj cts to cl an sol plat and
oth r parts of th iron. If th applianc has b n standing unus d for long p riods, us th Anti
Calc function (s § 14).
16 • Eco steam system
ECO position: For an optimized ironing with a steam output perfectly adapted to all
fabric types. This setting ensures qualitative ironing results while saving energy.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
• Merci de lire attentivement ces consignes et

1 • Quelle eau utiliser?
Utilisez de l’eau du robinet jusqu’à un degré de dureté de 17° dH (= dureté
allemande).
En cas d’une eau plus dure, nous recommandons un mélange de 50/50 d’eau du
robinet et d’eau distillée.

RECOMMANDATIONS IMPORTANTES
• La tension de votre installation électrique doit correspondre à celle du fer
(220-240 V). Ce fer doit être toujours branché sur une prise de courant avec
terre. Toute erreur de branchement peut endommager le fer de manière
irréversible et annulera la garantie.
• Si vous utilisez une rallonge, vérifiez qu’elle est de type bipolaire (16 A)
avec conducteur de terre, et qu'elle est entièrement dépliée.
• Si le cordon électrique est endommagé, faites-le remplacer par un centre

• Ne plongez jamais le fer à vapeur dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide. Ne le

UTILISATION
2 • Remplissez le réservoir
IMPORTANT Avant l r mplissag du rés rvoir d’ au, débranch z toujours l’appar il t régl z la
command d réglag d la vap ur sur la position .
Tenez le fer à repasser en position oblique. Ouvrez l’orifice de remplissage (fig.6).
Versez de l’eau jusqu’au repère max (fig.7). Fermez l’orifice de remplissage (fig.8).
Vous pouvez mettre le fer de nouveau à l’horizontal.
3 • Réglage de la température et de la vapeur
Réglez la température de repassage avec la commande de thermostat en fonction du
type de tissu que vous désirez repasser (fig.3).
Contrôle de la température* : Les voyants lumineux indiquent si la semelle est à la
température choisie. Lorsque le voyant s’éteint (fig.10), la température désirée est
atteinte, vous pouvez commencer à repasser.

4 • Repassez sans vapeur
Réglez la commande de réglage de la vapeur sur (fig.11) et réglez la
température en fonction du type de tissu (symboles •, ••, •••).
5 • Repassez à la vapeur
A partir du réglage de température •• vous pouvez repasser avec de la vapeur.
Fonction Vapeur* Le débit de vapeur peut être réglé entre débit de vapeur minimal
et débit de vapeur maximal (fig.12).
Pour le débit de vapeur maximal , nous recommandons de régler la température sur
•••.
6 • Jet de vapeur
(à partir du réglage de température ••)
Appuyez sur la commande pour produire un jet de vapeur puissant (fig.14).
7 • Jet de vapeur vertical
(à partir du réglage de température ••)

Tenez le fer dans une position verticale et appuyez sur la commande ( fig.15) pour
défroisser des vêtements suspendus, des tentures, etc.
Respectez un intervalle de quelques secondes entre deux appuis.

8 • Spray
Appuyez sur la commande SPRAY pour humecter les plis tenaces (fig.16).
9 • Système anti-gouttes*
Il empêche les fuites de gouttes d’eau par la semelle, si la température sélectionnée
est trop basse.
10 • Arrêt électronique automatique à 3 positions*
Si votre appareil est allumé mais qu’il ne bouge pas, votre fer s’arrête
automatiquement et le voyant d’arrêt automatique clignotera :

11 • Videz votre fer
Débranchez le fer (fig.4), videz l’eau résiduelle (fig.17) et réglez la commande de
réglage de la vapeur sur .
12 • Rangez votre fer
Laissez refroidir le fer avant de le ranger en position verticale sur le socle (fig.18).

13 • Système anti-calcaire
Votre fer à repasser contient une cartouche anti-calcaire, réduisant nettement la
formation de calcaire. La durée de vie de votre fer à repasser est ainsi notablement
accrue.
La cartouche anti-calcaire est un composant fixe du réservoir d’eau et il n’est pas
nécessaire de la remplacer.

14 • Anti Calc (pour une durée de vie accrue)
La fonction d’auto nettoyage élimine par rinçage les saletés et les particules de
calcaire éventuellement contenues dans la chambre de vapeur.
Remplissez le réservoir jusqu’au repère max. et réglez le thermostat sur la
température max •••. Débranchez l’appareil et tenez le fer dans une position
horizontale au-dessus d’un évier. Maintenez la commande de réglage de la vapeur
sur la position Anti Calc (fig.5)et secouez doucement le fer : il y a une forte
production de vapeur. Après quelques secondes, l’eau et la vapeur sortant de la
semelle éliminent par rinçage les saletés et les particules de calcaire de la chambre
de vapeur. Réglez la commande de réglage de la vapeur sur la position . après
environ 1 minute.
Branchez le fer et laissez-le chauffer de nouveau. Attendez l’évaporation de l’eau
résiduelle. Débranchez l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir complètement.
Lorsque la semelle est froide, essuyez-la avec un chiffon humide.

PŘED PRVNÍM POUŽ TÍM
POZOR! Než žehličku zahřejete, odstraňte z žehlicí plochy případné štítky (podle
modelu).
POZOR! Před prvním použitím žehličky v režimu napařování vám doporučujeme
nechat ji chvíle puštěnou v horizontální pozici a mimo prádlo. e stejných
podmínkách stiskněte několikrát za sebou tlačítko Superpressing. Při prvním použití
si možná všimnete malých částeček, které padají z žehlicí plochy. To je způsobené
výrobním procesem a není to nebezpečné ani pro vás, ani pro oblečení. Po několika
použitích se tento jev ztratí. Proces můžete urychlit tím, že budete používat funkci
automatického čištění (obrázky 5a a 5b) a tím, že žehličkou lehce zatřepete.
1• Jakou vodu lze použít?
PouIívejte vodu z kohoutku do stupnZtvrdosti 17° dH (= nZmecká tvrdost). V p`ípadZtvrdGí
vody vám doporuQujeme smíchat 50/50 vodu z kohoutku a destilovanou vodu.
DŮLEŽITÉ! Nikdy do nádržky na vodu nic nepřidávejte a nepoužívejte vodu ze
sušičky, parfémovanou nebo měkčenou vodu, vodu z chladničky, baterií, klimatizací,
čistou destilovanou nebo dešťovou vodu. Tyto vody obsahují organický odpad nebo
minerální prvky, které se v důsledku tepla koncentrují a mohou způsobit prskání,
hnědé skvrny nebo předčasné opotřebení vaší žehličky.
ŽEHLICÍ PLOCHA: zhledem k silnému průtoku páry, je třeba použít typizovanou
žehlicí plochu, aby přebytečná pára mohla unikat a aby se zabránilo odpouštění páry
stranou.

HehliQku drIte v Gikmé pozici. Otev`ete plnící otvor (obr.6). Nalijte vodu aIdo max. úrovnZ
(obr.7). Zav`ete plnící otvor (obr.8). MeIete IehliQku znovu postavit do horizontální polohy.
3 • Nastavení teploty a páry
Nastavte teplotu Iehlení pomocí termostatu podle typu látky, kterou chcete Iehlit (obr.3).
Kontrola teploty* : SvZtelné kontrolky ukazují, zda je Iehlicí plocha zah`átá na zvolenou teplotu.
Jakmile kontrolka zhasne (obr.10), poIadovaná teplota je dosaIena, meIete zaQít Iehlit.
DŮLEŽITÉ Doba chladnutí žehličky je delší než doba zahřívání. Doporučujeme vám
začít s žehlením jemných látek na minimální teplotu. U oblečení složeného z různých
materiálů, zvolte teplotu vhodnou pro nejjemnější látku.
DOPORUČENÍ Na rub látky, kterou budete žehlit, nastříkejte škrob.
4 • Žehlení bez napařování
Nastavte tlaQítko nastavení napa`ování na (obr.11) a nastavte na teplotu podle typu látky
(symboly •, ••, •••).
5 • Žehlení s napařováním
Po nastavení teploty na •• můžete žehlit s napařováním. Funkce Napařování* Průtok páry je
možné nastavit mezi • (minimální průtok páry) a maximální průtok páry (obr.12). U
maximálního průtoku páry vám doporučujeme nastavit teplotu na •••.
6 • Stříkání páry (z nastavení teploty ••)
StisknZte tlaQítko pro vJrobu silného proudu páry (obr. 14). PoQkejte nZkolik vte`in mezi
jednotlivJmi st`iky a teprve poté stisknZte tlaQítko znovu.
7 • Vertikální stříkání páry (z nastavení teploty ••)
DOPORUČENÍ Pro zamezení spálení jemných látek je třeba, aby byly okolo 10 až
20 cm od žehličky.
UdrIujte IehliQku ve vertikální pozici a stisknZte tlaQítko (obr.15) pro narovnání povZGeného
obleQení, QalounZní, atd.
UdrIujte interval nZkolika vte`in mezi dvZma stisknutími.
DŮLEŽITÉ Nikdy nesměřujte proud páry na osoby nebo na zvířata.
8 • Sprej
StisknZte tlaQítko pro pokropení odolnJch záhybe(obr. 16).
9 • Systém proti kapání*
Brání odkapávání vody z Iehlicí plochy, pokud je zvolená teplota p`íliGnízká.
10 • Automatické elektronické zastavení ve 3 pozicích*
Pokud je váGp`ístroj zapnutJ, ale nehJbe se, vaGe IehliQka se automaticky vypne a kontrolka
automatického zastavení zaQne blikat:
- po 30 vte`inách, pokud je IehliQka poloIená na Iehlicí ploGe nebo na boku.
- po 8 minutách, pokud je IehliQka na podstavci.
PO ŽEHLENÍ
11 • Vyprázdnění žehličky
Vypojte IehliQku ze zásuvky (obr.4), vylijte zbytkovou vodu (obr. 17) a nastavte tlaQítko ovládání
napa`ování na .
12 • Uskladnění žehličky
Žehličku nechte vychladnout a uložte ji do vertikální pozice na podstavec (obr. 18).
DŮLEŽ TÉ Neobmotávejte šňůru okolo horké žehlicí plochy.

DŮLEŽITÉ ypojte žehličku ze zásuvky, nechte ji vychladnout a teprve poté proveďte
údržbu a čištění.
13 • Systém proti usazování vodního kamene
Vaše žehlička obsahuje zásobník proti usazování vodního kamene, výrazně snižuje tvorbu
vodního kamene. Životnost žehličky se tak výrazně prodlužuje.
Zásobník proti ukládání vodního kamene je fixní složka nádržky na vodu a není třeba jej měnit.
DŮLEŽITÉ Nepoužívejte nikdy přípravky proti vodnímu kameni, mohly by poškodit
povrch parní komory a zničit průtok páry.
14 • Anti Calc (pro delší životnost)
Funkce automatického QiGtZní odstra]uje oplachováním neQistoty a Qástice vodního kamene,
které by mohly bJt obsaIeny v parní komo`e.
Napl]te nádrIku aIdo max. úrovnZa nastavte termostat na max. teplotu •••. Vypojte p`ístroj
a udrIujte IehliQku v horizontální poloze nad d`ezem. UdrIujte tlaQítko pro nastavení
napa`ování na pozici Anti Calc (obr.5) zat`epte lehce IehliQkou: dochází k silné produkci páry.
Po nZkolika vte`inách voda a pára vycházející z Iehlicí plochy odstra]ují vyplachováním
neQistoty a Qástice vodního kamene z parní komory.
Nastavte tlaQítko ovládání napa`ování na pozici po p`ibliInZ1 minutZ..
Zapojte IehliQku do zásuvky a nechte ji znovu zah`át. PoQkejte, aIse vypa`í zbytková voda.
Vypojte p`ístroj ze zásuvky a nechte jej zcela vychladnout.
KdyIje Iehlicí plocha studená, osuGte ji navlhQenJm had`íkem.
DOPORUČENÍ Přistupte k automatickému čištění Anti Calc přibližně každé 2 týdny.

15 • Čištění žehličky
OsuGte vychladlou IehliQku had`íkem nebo vlhkou hubkou. Odstra]te stopy a neQistoty na
Iehlicí ploGe pomocí had`íku nebo navlhQené hubky.
DŮLEŽITÉ Nikdy nepoužívejte čisticí prostředky a řezné nebo abrazivní předměty pro
vyčištění žehlicí plochy a dalších částí přístroje. Pokud jste přístroj delší dobu
nepoužívali, použijte funkci SELFCLEAN (viz § 14).
