unattended. Never old t e end of t e vacuum tube near your eyes or ears.
• Never vacuum wet surfaces or liquids, no matter w at t eir nature; ot substances; ultra-fine
substances suc as plaster, cement or as es; large cutting waste materials suc as glass; toxic
products suc as solvents or paint strippers; aggressive products suc as acids or strong cleaners;
or gasoline or alco ol-based flammable or explosive materials.
• Never submerge t e product or c arge it under water or under any ot er liquid. Never spray
water on t e appliance or on t e c arger.
• Do not store t e appliance outdoors and keep it in a cool, dry place at all times.
• Do not place t e appliance near a eat source (ovens, electric eaters or ot radiators).
• Do not expose t e batteries to a room temperature above 104ºF (40°C).
• Do not take t e vacuum cleaner apart w ile it is on.
• Never use your vacuum cleaner wit out t e dust tray and t e foam rubber motor protection filter.
• Do not use t e appliance:
- If it fell and s ows visible signs of deterioration or functional anomalies.
- If t e c arger or t e c arger cable are damaged.
In any of t ese cases, do not try to take t e appliance apart. Rat er, take it to t e aut orized
Rowenta Service Center nearest to your ome, because special tools will be needed in order to
safely carry out any repairs.
• Repairs must only be carried out by specialists using original replacement parts.
• To attempt t e repair of an electronic appliance at ome may be azardous to t e user.
• Only use original, guaranteed Rowenta replacement parts (filters, batteries...).
