instructions before starting assembly, then
follow the easy step by step guide.
The instruction sheet is only a guide to
the assembly. Certain items may not be
shown to scale.
•Check all components prior to assembly
•This product should be assembled by no
less than two people.
•Some of the components may have sharp
edges, wear protective work gloves while
handling components.
•Never attempt to erect the assembly in
high winds.

3. Door frame
Lay the four door frame components out and attach together as shown using 8 x70mm screws. Fit two cabinet hinges to the left door, along a long edge about 150mm
from the ends and one in the middle. Fit the hinges into the recess on the edge of the door and attach using 2 x 25mm screws per hinge. Open the hinges and fit them
around the door frame, adjust the door to the correct height and fix the hinges to the frame using 3 x 25mm screws per hinge. Repeat for the other door, fitting the hinges
to the opposite door edge. Push the door lock into the rebate on the edge of the right-hand door as shown and secure using 2 x 25mm screws. Push the metal handle bar
through the door latch mechanism. Fit a door handle to the metal handle bar on each side of the door and secure them in place using 2 x 30mm black screws per handle.
On the other door fit the lock plate using 2 x 30mm black screws. Fit the lever action door bolts in the rebates on the edge of the left door, secure using 2 x 20mm
roundhead screws per bolt. On the inside of the doors, position the internal door coverstrip so that it covers the gap between the two doors. Secure using 6 x 25mm
screws only to the left-hand door (door without the handle).
1. Laying the floor sections
Prepare a level area for the cabin to sit. Turn the floor panels upside down and attached the five treated floor bearers evenly spaced using 6 x 70mm nails per bearer, ensure
the middle bearer covers the join between the two panels. Carefully turn the floor over and position in the prepared area. Check that it is level and adjust accordingly.

Important note:

to work in both left and
right handed doors, It
maybe necessary to turn
the spring catch round.
Do this by loosening the
screws on the face plate
and pushing the button in
until it will swivel round
180 degrees and then
tighten the screws up.
Important note
It is easier to lay the door and
window panels on the ground when
fitting the glazing.

2. Glazing
Lay the window and doors on the ground. Working on one at a time, carefully prise off the beading strips. When all beading is removed, place the window panes into the
window frame, it is recommended that a waterproof sealant is applied around the edge of each piece of glazing as they are fitted. When all glass is in place, refit the beading
into position. Fit the outer edges first, then the cross spars and finally the vertical centre spars. Add 3 x 20mm additional nails to each beading piece.

Important note
Iit is recommended that a

of glazing as they are fitted.

4. Window
Fit two storm proof hinges in the rebates on the top of the window as shown in the diagram using 3 x 25mm screws per hinge, stand the hinge end of the window on the
window panel, making sure it is centred at the top of the window opening. Open the hinges and secure them to the window frame using 3 x 25mm screws per hinge. On
the inside of the window panel fit the window stay and its two posts using 6 x 20mm screws as shown in the diagram.
5. Building the walls stage 1
Position the back wall base log at the back of the floor and the two front wall base logs at the front of the building. Down the side of the floor interlock the side wall base
logs with the front and rear logs as shown. Begin to build up all four walls by interlocking the wall logs until the front and back walls are four full logs high. Choose which
side to put the window and continue to build up the walls ensuring that on the window wall the short window wall logs are used to create the gap for the window frame

6. Building the walls Stage 2
Continue to build the walls up until the side wall are seven logs high.Lift and slot down the door frame assembly, ensuring the doors open outward. Lift and slot down the
window frame assembly into the gap for the window with the window stay on the inside of the building. Continue to build up the walls until the front and back walls are
16 full logs high.
7. Apex panels
Slot on top of the side walls the two side wall top logs, Note that these logs have a hole drilled in the side at each end. When the side wall logs are in place slot an apex
panel on to the front and back walls.
Important note:
The orientation of the window frame,
the inside bottom of the frame is thicker to allow
enough room for the window stay to be fitted

around the floor edge and the two

9. Roof Panels
Lift a rear roof panel onto the back of the building, hooking the panel over the top roof purlin. Push the roof panel forward so that the framing is up against the ends of the
side wall logs. Secure the panel in place using 9 x 25mm screws. Position a middle panel butted up next to the back roof panel and secure using 9 x 25mm screws. Similarly
place a front roof panel up against the mid panel and secure using 6 x 25mm screws. Complete the roof by attaching the roof panels on the other side of the roof in the
same way.
10. Roofing felt
Place a length over half of the roof. At the front and along the lower edge of the roof leave an overhang of felt to cover the roof framing. Fold down the felt along the lower
edge and secure to the felt batten using 30 x 10mm felt nails evenly spaced. Tension the felt over the roof and secure along the upper edge using 6 x 10mm felt nails. Repeat
this for the second piece of felt on the other half of the roof. Once the two pieces of felt are in place take the ridge felt roll and place over the apex of the roof making
sure it sits centrally over the roof ridge and overlaps the other two felt pieces, attach using 30 x 10mm felt nails evenly spaced, along the two long edges of the ridge felt.
Dress down the ends of the felt and attach to the felt battens with 8 x 10mm felt nails at each end. Once secured trim off any excess felt with a sharp knife.
11 Bargeboards, Finials and coverstrips
Attach bargeboards at the front so that the top edge is flush with the roof line and the two boards meet evenly in the middle secure using 3 x 40mm nails per board. Fit a
finial centrally over the join between the bargeboards, secure using 2 x 40mm nails. Attach bargeboards and a finial on the back of the building in the same way. Position
the two door coverstrips over the gap between the two doors and secure in place to the right-hand door only using 3 x 25mm screws per strip.

8. Purlins
Position the angled purlins to the inside of each top side wall logs, ensure that the angle runs in the same direction as the apex panels and that they are flush to the top edge
of the apex panels attach using 5 x 50mm screws per purlin. Insert the four roof purlins into the slots on the top of the apex panels. Secure them in place using 1 x 70mm
screw at the end of each purlin.
It is recommended to drill pilot
holes with a 2mm drill for each
screw in this section.

and RE-TREATED ANNUALLY thereafter.
Timber Information.
As timber is a natural material, there are certain weather conditions that may affect the materials properties. In times of excessive dry spells the material may loose some
of its internal moisture causing a certain degree of shrinkage on a panel and in periods of excessive rain there will be a certain amount of swelling throughout the wooden
panels. This process can not be avoided. If you have problems with certain boards shrinking in dry spells try to decrease the amount of direct sunlight on the building or
the amount of air passing over the building. During hot spells spray water directly onto the panels with the aid of a garden hose.

13. Skirting boards
Position the long skirting board on the floor up against the back wall, secure to the floor using 4 x 50mm screws evenly spaced along its length. Fix in place the two short
skirting boards in the same way along each side wall. From the outside of the building, screw through the back and side walls into the skirting boards using 4 x40mm screws
per wall. Secure the door frame to the floor using 3 x 70mm screws. Screw down through the bottom frame and spacer into the floor and floor joists.

14. Storm braces & apex covers
Inside the cabin, position a storm brace in each corner. Secure the braces to the walls using 2 x 60mm bolts, nuts and washers. Secure through the pre-drilled holes in the
side walls. When tightening the bolts do not over tighten to allow the building to expand and contract depending on the whether conditions. To the inside of the roof fit
the apex cover to the two centre purlins using 6 x 25mm screws. Fit the roof overhang cover in the same way to the roof framing using 4 x 25mm screws.

12. Apex panel coverstrips
Position the apex coverstrips against the front apex panel to cover over the ends of the purlins. Nail in place using 3 x 25mm nails per coverstrip.
