Operating Instructions
This unit can be used independently or as part of Ward beverage trolley. If the unit is being
used independently, it can be operated on any clean and dry surface following the
instructions below.
This unit is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
1. Inspect the unit and mains cable for any signs of damage before use.
2. Ensure that the unit is clear of any crumbs or debris from previous use.
3. Clean food contact surfaces using a clean cloth and proprietary food safe
cleaning products.
4. Ensure that the Toast Racks and plastic lids are present and correctly located

5. Ensure that the plug and socket are clean and dry and connect to a suitable
power supply.
6. Switch on the unit using the Red power switch
7. Allow approximately 20 minutes for the warmer to reach the correct operating
temperature.
8. The surface of the warmer will be hot, please take precautions.
If the toast warming unit is being used as part of the Ward Beverage trolley, slide the unit
forward using the handle.
Follow the instructions above, this time using the internal power supply, located behind the
unit.
The unit can then be slid in and out for use on the trolley, ensuring that there are no
obstructions in place when moving the unit on the runners.

This unit must only be serviced by a Refreshment Systems representative or an appointed
service partner.
If service is required, this unit must be disconnected from the mains power supply.

WARNING – THIS TOAST WARMING UNIT MUST ONLY BE USED BY A COMPETENT PERSON
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than
8 years and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
If the supply cable or any part of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use the appliance near or below combustible material such as curtains.
