1.Reyee EW Testing List
Note: Before PoC, please check whether the EW has been upgraded to the
latest firmware version via eWeb, the example to check firmware version is
shown below.
1. Steps for login eWeb is described in section 2.1.1 (Next page).
2. The example below refers to router model EW1200G PRO.
3. The eWeb interface may vary according to the model type.

Enable WEB and log into router successfully

1. Connect PC with EW through UTP cable as shown above. (in this
example, port Lan1 is connected)
2. Assign IP 192.168.120.2/24 to PC or set the DHCP mode to obtain
the IP address from EW1200G-PRO
3. Enter the default IP of Switch 192.168.120.1 in browser

1. Connect EW to Internet.
2. WAN setting page, Internet method select “PPPoE”, fill in the
username and password

3. Next, EW will try to connect to the PPPoE server and create a dial-
up port
When the PPPoE server is found, EW will use the configured
username and password for authentication.
4. Successful authentication will result in an IP address being
obtained from the PPPoE server
5. Ping 8.8.8.8, check EW network

EW obtained IP address 10.44.66.100 via PPPoE

With the method of PPPoE, EW can successfully obtain an IP ad
dress and access the Internet.

1. On “EW1200G PRO”, select wireless repeater mode
2. Select primary SSID

3. Fill in the password for the Primary SSID, set the local SSID to be
the same as the primary SSID or create a new SSID
When the establishment is successful, the SSID of the EW will be
changed to the same as the Primary SSID or NEW Wi-Fi
(depending on the previous operation)
4. Connect to EW Wi-Fi and you will see EW successfully obtain an
address in the wireless repeater configuration
5. View network status on EW Home page
6. Ping 8.8.8.8 on EW, Expected results: ping successfully

Wireless mesh:
1. Complete the “Wizard” configuration of the "Main" and connect to
the Internet
2. Press the "Pairing" button on the back of the main router (<1s),
power up the other routers and place them 2m away from the
main router. You will see the LED indicator quick flashing
3. After around 2 minutes the device LED stops flashing, indicates
that the mesh has been created. On “Main” Home page can see
“Repeater”
4. “Secondary” obtained IP address from “Main”, and synced
configure from “Main”, such as SSID

Tips: Mesh slave ap is managed by the master AP and can not be
edited
locally.
5. Ping 8.8.8.8 on “Secondary”
Wired mesh
1. The two devices are powered on and the Secondary EW wan port
is connected to the Main EW Lan port, which will automatically
mesh and you will see the LED indicator quick flashing
2. After around 2 minutes the device LED stops flashing, indicates
that the mesh has been created. On “Main” Home page can see
“Repeater”
3. Click “Repeater” to enter Repeater List
4. Click “Manage” to enter the Secondary EW Management page

5. In the Basic → Repeater of Secondary EW, the wired relay
established by wired automatic MESH is a status of success
6. Ping 8.8.8.8 on Secondary EW

Mesh successfully and main router sync the configuration to
secondary one. Clients can connect to both the devices and access to
the internet

1. Client connect the EW device’s WIFI, on EW Client page can see
client list, click “+Add Blocked Time” to set block time

3. When the blocking time is not reached, customers access the
Internet normally

4. When the time reaches the specified block time, it will block
completely within 40sec or so, client can access wifi but cannot
access the internet.
5. When the non-blocking time is reached, customer access to the
Internet will be fully restored within 40sec
