projectors with the introduction of
the new flagship VX-5c DLP™ pro-
jector. This ultra-bright projector
incorporates the latest advance-
ments in three-chip DLP™ technol-
ogy, featuring true SXGA native reso-
lution of 1280 x 1024 — ideal for
displaying both HDTV and high-res-
olution computer signals — both in
their native formats. The VX-5c
DLP™ projector utilizes a 700W
Xenon arc lamp that provides a
maximum brightness of 3000 ANSI
lumens. This highly specialized
lamp allows the user to adjust the
wattage range from 450W to
700W, according to the specific
brightness requirements of the
application/installation. Like the
Runco VX-3c DLP™ model, this
projector incorporates both horizon-
tal and vertical lens shift, as well as
keystone correction, for ease and
flexibility of placement. The projec-
tion lens of the VX-5c incorporates
a unique lens shift feature that
provides alignment of the lens to
the projection screen. And, as with
all Reflection™ Series DLP™ projec-
tors, the VX-5c is packaged with the
VHD Ultra Controller, which pro-
vides stunning 10-bit processing,
and an output matched pixel-for-
pixel with the native resolution of
the projector. The high-light output
and high-resolution three-chip
DLP™ optical engine, combined
with the VHD Ultra Controller’s
unparalleled processing, clearly
make the VX-5c the hands-down
favorite for the home-theater
enthusiast.
