2. INDICAZIONI DI SICUREZZA E
PREVENZIONE DEGLI INFORTUNI
Prima di mettere in funzione la macchina,
leggere l'intero manuale di servizio, seguire le
indicazioni di sicurezza di questo manuale e le
indicazioni di sicurezza per utensili elettrici
generali del prospetto allegato.
2.1. AVVERTENZA
Per la propria sicurezza, è sempre consigliabile
usare l'utensile solo se la batteria è completamente
carica e dopo aver letto tutte le istruzioni applicabili:
Si noti che il trapano è sempre pronto all'uso
poiché non richiede il collegamento alla rete
elettrica. Se non si prevede di usarlo, è
necessario spostare l'interruttore di
avanzamento/arretramento in posizione neutra.
Prima di iniziare l'operazione di foratura, verificare
che non ci siano cavi elettrici o tubazioni di
acqua/gas sotto alla superficie da forare,
utilizzando un metal detector o un misuratore di
tensione.
Non esporre il trapano o il carica-batterie alla

2.2. BLOCCARE LA PARTE DA LAVORARE
Utilizzare dei morsetti o una morsa per bloccare
la parte da lavorare. Questo metodo è
generalmente più sicuro che usare una mano e
consente di poter utilizzare entrambe le mani per
manovrare l'utensile.
2.3. PREVENIRE GLI AVVII ACCIDENTALI
Fare attenzione a non premere l'interruttore di
accensione durante il trasporto.
2.4. ULTERIORI PRECAUZIONI APPLICABILI
AGLI UTENSILI ELETTRICI CORDLESS
La massima sicurezza può essere garantita solo
prestando sempre la massima attenzione
durante l'uso dell'utensile.
2.5. SMALTIMENTO DELLA BATTERIA
Verificare sempre che la batteria venga smaltita
in modo corretto in conformità con le istruzioni
fornite dal produttore.
2.6. SICUREZZA DELLE BATTERIE
Indicazioni generali: non smaltire le batterie
mediante incenerimento per evitare che
possano scoppiare o rilasciare materiale tossico.
Non provocare cortocircuiti per evitare possibili
ustioni. Non cercare di manomettere o aprire le
batterie.
2.7. MANUTENZIONE
Il trapano e il carica-batterie non richiedono
operazioni di manutenzione particolari. Tuttavia,
è sempre consigliabile tenere il trapano e il
caricabatterie in un luogo asciutto facendo
attenzione a non esporli al gelo o alla luce
diretta del sole. Prima di qualsiasi intervento
sulla macchina stessa (ad esempio
manutenzione, cambio utensili, ecc) o durante il
trasporto e lo stoccaggio, rimuovere la batteria
dall’utensile. Pericolo di ferirsi accidentalmente
azionando l’interruttore On / Off.
3. USO DELL'UTENSILE
Carica della batteria (vd. Figura A)
Usare solo il caricabatterie in dotazione con
l’utensile. Le batterie agli ioni di litio di questo
utensile sono abbinabili solo con questi
caricabatterie.
L'utensile viene fornito con una carica parziale e
deve pertanto essere caricato prima dell'uso.
Rimuovere le batterie dall'utensile e inserirle nel
carica-batterie, quindi inserire la spina del
carica-batterie a una presa elettrica da 230 V.
L'accensione delle spie rossa e verde indica che
l'operazione di ricarica è in corso. Dopo circa
mezz’ora, la spia rossa si spegne e rimane accesa
solo quella verde ad indicare che le batterie sono
completamente cariche.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLA BATTERIA
- Premere sui pulsanti di sganciamento e
tirare contemporaneamente verso il basso la
batteria scarica sino ad ottenerne lo sfilamento;
- L'uso di batterie non adatte alla macchina può
causare malfunzionamenti o provocare danni
all’utensile. Impostare la direzione di rotazione in
posizione centrale al fine di evitare accensioni
involontarie. Inserire completamente la batteria 5
carica nel proprio alloggiamento.
Le batterie agli ioni di litio sono protette contro
scariche elettriche dal sistema "Electronic Cell
Protection (ECP)". Quando la batteria è scarica,
l’utensile rimane spento grazie ad un circuito di
protezione.
4. PROTEZIONE CONTRO I SOVRACCARICHI
Se la tensione è troppo bassa o si verifica una
condizione di sovraccarico, il trapano si arresta.
In altri casi è possibile che il trapano continui a
ruotare anche se la tensione è troppo alta o il
carico troppo basso.
5. ACCENSIONE E SPEGNIMENTO
Per avviare la macchina, premere il pulsante
On / Off. La luce si accende quando
l'interruttore On / Off è leggermente o
completamente premuto e permette di illuminare
la zona di lavoro quando le condizioni di
illuminazione non sono buone. Per spegnere la
macchina, rilasciare l'interruttore On / Off.

6. CONTROLLO VARIABILE DELLA VELOCITÀ
Per avviare il trapano a bassa velocità, è suffi-
ciente applicare una leggera pressione sul gril-
letto. L'applicazione di una maggiore pressione
incrementa la velocità del trapano.
7. CHIUSURA AUTOMATICA DEL MANDRINO
(AUTO-LOCK)
Quando l'interruttore On / Off non è premuto, il
mandrino del trapano e il portautensile sono
bloccati.
Ciò consente di avvitare e svitare gli inserti in
maniera semplice.
8. MODIFICA DELLA DIREZIONE DI
ROTAZIONE
Impostare la direzione della leva di rotazione in
posizione L (sinistra) o R (destra). Si noti che la
leva di rotazione non può essere spostata se
l'interruttore di accensione è stato premuto. Il
movimento di rotazione in senso orario e
antiorario è utile per operazioni come il serraggio
o la rimozione di viti.
Nota: non modificare la direzione di rotazione
quando il trapano è in funzione.
9. REGOLAZIONE DELLA COPPIA
Questa funzione consente di impostare la
coppia di serraggio del trapano in funzione
dell'applicazione. Applicazioni diverse possono
richiedere livelli di potenza diversi. Per le viti di
diametro maggiore, è generalmente necessario
applicare una coppia più elevata che consenta
di bloccare in posizione la vite stessa. Il
mandrino smette di ruotare appena viene
raggiunta la coppia selezionata.
Nota: iniziare sempre dall'impostazione più
bassa. Il simbolo corrispondente al trapano
fornisce la coppia più elevata in assoluto, che è
utile per l'inserimento di viti di grandi dimensioni.
10. SELETTORE DI VELOCITÀ MECCANICO
Azionare il selettore di velocità solo quando la
macchina è ferma.
ll selettore permette di selezionare 2 velocità.
Velocità I: basso numero di giri; per avvitare o
per effettuare fori di grandi dimensioni.
Velocità II: alto numero di giri, per effettuare fori
di piccole dimensioni.
Se il selettore di velocità non può essere
inserito, ruotare leggermente il mandrino del
trapano.
11. INDICATORE LED DELLO STATO DI
CARICA DELLA BATTERIA
I tre LED blu indicano lo stato di carica della
batteria quando l’interruttore On / Off è
premuto a metà o completamente.
12. CONSIGLI
Dopo lunghi periodi di lavoro a bassa velocità,
far raffreddare l’utensile facendo girare il motore
per ca. 3 minuti alla massima velocità senza
carico.
Per la foratura in metallo, utilizzare punte HSS
perfettamente affilate.
Prima di avvitare in materiali duri, è consigliabile
praticare un foro pilota con diametro di ca. 2/3
della larghezza della vite.
13. AVVERTENZA
Per garantire la massima sicurezza e affidabilità,
è sempre necessario far effettuare tutte le ripara-
zioni a un centro di assistenza autorizzato o a
società debitamente qualificate. Utilizzare solo le
batterie e il carica-batterie consigliati dal produt-
tore. Fare attenzione a non avvicinare alle batte-
rie monete o oggetti in metallo, come viti e cac-
ciaviti, per evitare di provocare cortocircuiti.
Tenere la batteria e il carica-batterie lontano da
fonti di calore e non tenerle esposte per lungo
tempo a temperature elevate (calore del sole,
calorifero, o comunque a temperature superiori
a 50°C). Caricare le batterie con una corrente
normale,facendo attenzione a non superare i
tempi di carica previsti.
14. BATTERIA/CARICA-BATTERIE
1. Le batterie devono essere sempre caricate
prima dell'uso. Collocare il carica-batterie su una
superficie stabile come il pavimento del garage,
evitando di usare superfici in materiale
potenzialmente infiammabile.
Nota: se le prestazioni dell'utensile tendono a
ridursi, sostituire sempre le batterie installando
un nuovo gruppo di batterie. Il calore molto
intenso può danneggiare le batterie. Più intenso
è il calore generato e più velocemente si esauri-
sce la carica delle batterie. Il surriscaldamento
dell'utensile può danneggiare in modo perma-
nente le batterie. Non scaricare eccessivamente
le batterie utilizzando l'utensile con prestazioni
inferiori a quelle normali. Non tentare di scarica-
re le batterie continuando a tirare il grilletto.
Appena si nota un calo nelle prestazioni del-
l'utensile, rimuoverlo dal servizio, ricaricare le
batterie e installare un gruppo di batterie com-
pletamente carico per ottenere prestazioni otti-
mali.

2. Dopo la carica iniziale, è necessario ricaricare
le batterie per 30 min. in modo da consentire
loro di raggiungere la massima carica.
3. Temperatura dell'area in cui vengono
ricaricate le batterie: 10°C-40°C (50°F-104°F).
4. Premere entrambi i tasti sul retro del gruppo
batterie e estrarlo in modo da rimuoverlo
completamente dal trapano/estrattore.
5. Le batterie possono essere inserite nella base
del caricatore in un'unica posizione. Inserire le
batterie nella base del carica-batterie, collegare
la base al carica-batterie (adattatore), quindi
collegare il carica-batterie (adattatore) a una
presa elettrica standard.
6. Durante la carica, è possibile che il gruppo
batterie, la base del carica-batterie e il
carica-batterie (adattatore) si riscaldino. Questa
condizione è normale e non indica un problema.
7. Quando si inseriscono le batterie nella base
del carica-batterie, le spie luminose rossa e
verde sulla base del carica-batterie si illuminano
ad indicare che è in corso l'operazione di carica.
Quando le batterie sono completamente
cariche, la spia rossa si spegne ad indicare che
le batterie sono pronte per l'uso. Appena le
batterie sono completamente cariche,
scollegare il carica-batterie dalla presa elettrica e
rimuovere le batterie dal carica-batterie
(adattatore).
15. MANUTENZIONE DELLE BATTERIE
Tenere le batterie a distanza di sicurezza da
oggetti in metallo quando queste sono inserite
nell'utensile o nel carica-batterie.
NON SMALTIRE LE BATTERIE PER INCENERI-
MENTO E NON ESPORLE A CALORE MOLTO
INTENSO per prevenire il rischio di possibili
esplosioni.
16. BATTERIA RICARICABILE
È necessario conservare la batteria agli
ioni di litio difettose o consumate a
scopo di riciclaggio o smaltimento eco-
logico secondo la direttiva CEE 91/157.
Per lo smaltimento utilizzare i contenitori per la
raccolta differenziata. Qualora non siano dispo-
nibili rivolgersi all’Agenzia dei servizi Ambientali
competente per il vostro territorio o al vostro
rivenditore Rupes che provvederà allo smalti-
mento a norma di legge.
17. GARANZIA
Tutte le macchine costruite dalla RUPES Spa
sono garantite per 12 mesi dalla data di acquisto
contro difetti di materiale e di fabbricazione.
Le macchine devono essere utilizzate esclusiva-
mente con accessori e ricambi originali RUPES:
si declina ogni responsabilità per danni o inci-
denti provocati dall’inosservanza della presente
norma che causa anche il decadimento della
garanzia. La garanzia decade qualora non ven-
gano rispettate le prescrizioni del presente libret-
to o qualora venga fatto uso improprio della
macchina. Decade altresì se la macchina viene
smontata o manomessa o se vi sono evidenti
danni derivanti da cattiva cura della stessa.
La garanzia è subordinata alla compilazione
del tagliando riportato sull’ultima pagina di
copertina del presente libretto d'istruzioni.
In caso di accertato malfunzionamento la mac-
china, accompagnata dal certificato di garanzia,
dovrà essere consegnata o spedita franco di
porto, non smontata e nell'imballo originale, al
fabbricante o ad un Centro di Assistenza autoriz-
zato riportato nell'elenco allegato al presente
libretto.
In ogni caso la garanzia non dà diritto alla sosti-
tuzione della macchina. La RUPES Spa si riserva
di apportare qualsiasi modifica alle caratteristi-
che tecniche o estetiche dei propri prodotti
senza preavviso. Non si assume nessuna
responsabilità per eventuali errori di stampa. Il
presente stampato annulla e sostituisce i prece-
denti.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND
PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTE
Before operating the machine, please read
through the operating instructions completely,
follow the Safety Instructions in this manual as
well as the generai Safety Instructions for Power
Tools in the accompanying booklet.
2.1. WARNING
For you own safety, do not attempt to use your
drill until the battery is fully charged and you
have read all instructions:Remember the drill is
always in an operating condition as does not
need to be connected to a power supply. When
not in use, place the forward/ reverse switch in
the neutral position.Before drilling check that
there are not electrical cables, water or gas pipes
running below the surface-use a metal / voltage
detector. Do not expose either the drill or charger
to rain or water. Do not overcharge the battery as
this could damage the battery cells.
2.2. SECURE WORK
Use clamps or a vice to hold the work. It is safer
than using your hand and it frees both hands to
operate the tool.
2.3. AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTING
Do not carry the tool with a finger on the switch.
2.4. ADDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CORDLESS POWER TOOLS
Safety is a combination of operator common
sense and alertness at all time when the tools
are being used.
2.5. DISPOSAL OF BATTERY
Ensure battery is disposed of safely as instructed
by the manufacturer.
2.6. HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR BATTERIES
General: do not put in fire, or mutilate cells may
burst or release toxic materials. Do not short
circuit cells as this may cause burns.
2.7. MAINTENANCE
Either the drill or the charger require any special
maintenance. Keep both the drill and the charger
in a dry place where they will not be expose for
frost of direct sunlight. Before any work on the
machine itself (e. g. maintenance, tool change,
etc.) as well as during transport and storage,
remove the battery pack from the power tool.
There is danger of injury when unintentionally
actuating the On/Off switch.
3. OPERATING THE TOOLS
Battery charger (see Pic. A)
Use only the battery chargers supplied with the
tool. Only these battery chargers are matched to
the lithium ion battery of your power tool.
You tool is delivered only partly charged and
must be fully charged before use.
Take off the battery pack from the tool and
assemble the battery pack into the charger, then

put the plug of the charger into the electrical
outlet which supplies 230 volt, the red and green
light will illuminate which indicating that charging
is taking place, after charging for about 30
minutes, the red light will go out and the green
only will illuminate which indicating the battery
pack is fully charged.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- Press the eject buttons while pulling the bat-
tery down until released;
- Use of batteries not suitable for the machine
can lead to malfunctions of or cause damage to
the power tool. Set the rotational direction switch
to the centre position in order to avoid
unintentional starting. Insert the charged battery
5 into the handle so that it can be felt to engage
and faces flush against the handle.
The Li-ion battery is protected against deep
discharging by the “Electronic Cell Protection
(ECP)”. When the battery is empty, the machine
is switched off by means of a protective circuit:
The inserted tool no longer rotates.
4. OVERLOAD PROTECT
When the power is too low or load is overload,
the drill will stop to rotation. The drill still can
rotation when the power is high or load is small.
5. SWITCHING ON AND OFF
To start the machine, press the On/Off switch
and keep it depressed. The light is lit when the
On/Off switch is slightly or completely pressed in
and permits to light the work area when the
lighting conditions are bad. To switch off the
machine, release the On/Off switch.
6. VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL
Simply apply light pressure to the trigger to start
the drill on the slow speed. Increasing the pres-
sure on the switch will increase the speed of the
drill.
7. FULLY AUTOMATIC SPINDLE LOCKING
(AUTO-LOCK)
When the On/Off switch is not pressed, the drill
spindle and thus the tool holder are locked.
This enables screws to be screwed in, even
when the battery is empty and allows for the
machine to be used as a screwdriver.
8. CHANGING DIRECTION OF THE
ROTATION
Set the direction of the rotation lever to L (left)
and R (right). Noted that the direction of
the rotation lever is locked when the on-off
switch is activated. The reversing or anti-clockwi-
se operation enables application for tasks such
as loosening or removing screws.
Noted: Do not change the direction of rotation
when the drill running.
9. TORQUE ADJUSTMENTS
This feature allows setting of the torque or tighte-
ning power of your drill/driver and depending on
the application, various levels of driving power
are required. When driving larger screw diame-
ters a higher torque power is required to drive
the screw until it’s properly seated. When the
selected torque is reached the chuck will stop
rotating.
Noted: Always stat on the lowest setting. The
Drill symbol gives the highest torque setting and
is used when drilling and for driving larger
screws.
10. GEAR SELECTION, MECHANICAL
Actuate the gear selector only when the machine
is at a standstill.
Two speed ranges can be preselected with the
gear selector.
Gear I: Low speed range; for screwdriving or
working with large drilling diameter.
Gear II: High speed range; for working with
small drilling diameter.
If the gear selector cannot be pushed through to
the stop, lightly turn the drill chuck with drill.
11. BATTERY CHARGE-CONTROL LED
INDICATION
The battery charge-control LED indicator
consists of three blue LEDs, and indicates the
charge condition of the battery for a few seconds
when the On/Off switch is pressed halfway or
fully.

12. TIPS
After longer periods of working at low speed,
allow the machine to cool down by running it for
approx. 3 minutes at maximum speed with no
load. For drilling in metal, use only perfectly
sharpened HSS drill bits (HSS=high-speed
steel). Before screwing larger, longer screws into
hard materials, it is advisable to predrill a pilot
hole with the core diameter of the thread to
approx. 2/3 of the screw length.
13. WARNING
To assure safety and reliability, all repairs should
be performed by an Authorised Service Center
or other qualified service organizations. Only use
the recommended battery and charger. Battery
and the battery pack can not be put together
with coins, metal wares as screws and drivers to
avoid short circuit of battery or battery pack.
Battery and battery pack should be kept away
from fire sources, and should not be placed for a
long time under high temperature surroundings
(such as solar heating, heater, or any place with
temperature above 50 degree). Charge under
the regulated charging current, do not over char-
ge beyond the regulated charging time.
14. BATTERY / CHARGER
1. The Battery Pack requires charging before the
initial use. Place the Charger on a solid surface
such as a garage floor; never on anything flam-
mable.
Note: Always switch to a fresh battery when tool
performance begins to diminish. Severe heat is
destructive to batteries; the more heat generated,
the faster the battery will lose power. A battery that
gets tool hot can be permanently damaged. Never
overdischarge a battery by using the tool after per-
formance decreases. Never attempt to discharge a
battery by continuing to pull the trigger. When tool
performance begins to diminish, stop the tool,
recharge the battery, and use a fully charged
battery for optimal performance.
2. When the Battery Pack-after initial chargere-
quires recharging, it must charge for 30 minutes
in order to operate at full power.
3. Charging room temperature: 10°C-40°C (50°F-
104°F)
4. Depress both buttons at the rear of the Battery
Pack and slide the unit down to detach from the
Drill/Driver.
5. The Battery Pack can only fit into the Charger
Base in one position, insert into Charger Base,
plug Charger Base into Charger (Adapter), and
plug Charger (Adapter) into any standard electri-
cal outlet.
6. While charging, the Battery Pack, Charger
Base, and Charger (Adapter) may become warm
to the touch. This is normal, and does not indica-
te a problem.
7. When the Battery Pack is in the Charger Base,
both the red and green lights on the Charger Base
will be illuminated while charging, when the Battery
Pack is fully charged the red right will turn off, indi-
cating that the Battery Pack is ready for use. Once
the Battery Pack is fully charged, unplug the
Charger from the electrical outlet and remove the
Battery Pack from the Charger (Adapter).
15. BATTERY CARE
When batteries are not in tool or charger, keep
them away from metal objects. DO NOT PUT
BATTERIES INTO FIRE OR EXPOSE TO HIGH
HEAT. They may explode.
16. RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
Faulty or exhausted lithium ion batteries
must be preserved so that they can be
recycled or disposed of accordingly, in
compliance with the provisions of Directive
91/157/EEC.
Always use separate waste collection containers. If
these are not available, contact the local environ-
mental protection body or a Rupes distributor to
ensure that exhaust batteries are disposed of in
accordance with law provisions.
17. GUARANTEE
All tools manufactured by RUPES Spa are guaran-
teed for 12 months from the date of purchase
against fabrication and material defects. All tools
must be used only with RUPES original accesso-
ries and spare parts: we refuse all responsibility for
damages or accidents caused by non-observance
of this rule which will also cause the termination of
the guarantee. The guarantee will no longer be
valid if the instructions contained in this booklet are
not followed, if the tool is used for purposes other
than that for which it is intended, if it is dismantled,
interfered with in any way or damaged due to
neglect. The guarantee will be made valid by fil-
ling-in the form on the inside back cover of this
instruction booklet. If the tool is found to be
defective or malfunctions, it should be returned
carriage free in one piece in its original packing
together with the guarantee certificate to the

manufacturer or to one of the Assistance Centres
listed in the appendix to this booklet. The guaran-
tee does not automatically imply replacement of

2. CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ ET PRÉVEN-
TION DES ACCIDENTE
Avant de mettre la machine en marche, il convient de lire
entièrement la notice d'utilisation et d'observer les consi-
gnes de sécurité données dans cette notice ainsi que
les consignes de sécurité générales relatives aux
outils électriques précisées dans la brochure ci-jointe.
2.1. AVERTISSEMENT
Pour votre sécurité, ne tentez pas d’utiliser la
perceuse tant que la batterie n’est pas entière-
ment chargée et que vous n’avez pas lu toutes
es instructions: N’oubliez pas que la perceuse
est toujours en condition de fonctionnement
étant donné qu’elle n’a pas besoin d’être bran-
chée à une source d’alimentation.
Quand elle n’est pas utilisée, placez l’interrup-
teur marche avant/marche arrière dans la posi-
tion de repos. Avant de percer, vérifiez qu’il n’y a
pas de câbles
électriques, de conduites d’eau ou de gaz
endessous de la surface; pour cela utilisez un
détecteur de métal / tension.N’exposez pas la
perceuse ou le chargeur à la pluie ou à l’eau.
Ne surchargez pas la batterie car cela pourrait
endommager les cellules de la batterie.
2.2. ATTACHEZ LA PIÈCE À USINER
Utilisez des serre-joints ou un étau pour tenir la
pièce. C’est un système plus sûr que d’utiliser
votre main et cela vous permet d’avoir les deux
mains libres pour tenir l’outil.
2.3. ÉVITEZ LE DÉMARRAGE ACCIDENTEL
Ne portez pas l’outil en tenant un doigt sur l’in-
terrupteur.

2.6. SANTÉ ET SÉCURITÉ POUR LES
BATTERIES
Généralités : ne les jetez pas au feu et ne tentez
pas de les ouvrir ; les cellules pourraient explo-
ser ou libérer des matériaux toxiques. Ne court-
circuitez pas les cellules car cela pourrait provo-
quer des brûlures.
2.7. ENTRETIEN
Ni la perceuse ni le chargeur ne nécessitent
d’entretien spécial. Conservez la perceuse et le
chargeur dans un lieu sec où ils ne seront pas
exposés au gel ou à la lumière directe du soleil.
Avant toute intervention sur la machine (par
exemple, entretien, changement des outils, etc.)
ou durant le transport et le stockage, retirer la
batterie de l’outil. Risque de blessure accidentel-
le en actionnant l’interrupteur On / Off
3. UTILISATION DES OUTILS
Charge de la batterie (voir Figure A)
N’utiliser que le chargeur de batterie fourni avec
l’outil. Les batteries lithium-ion de cet outil ne
peuvent être utilisées qu’avec ces chargeurs.
Votre outil est livré partiellement chargé et il doit
être entièrement chargé avant toute utilisation, la
première fois nous conseillons un chargement
de 30 min.. Enlevez le bloc de batteries de l’outil
et placez-le dans le chargeur, puis branchez la
fiche du chargeur dans une prise de courant à
230 Volt, les témoins rouge et vert s’allumeront
et indiqueront que le chargement est en cours.
Après un chargement d’environ cinq heures, le
témoin rouge s’éteindra et seul le témoin vert
restera allumé pour indiquer que le bloc de bat-
teries est entièrement chargé.
REMPLACEMENT DE LA BATTERIE
- Appuyer sur les touches de décrochage et tirer
en même temps vers le bas la batterie déchar-
gée jusqu'à ce qu'elle sorte;
- l’utilisation de batteries non adaptées à la
machine peut provoquer des dysfonctionne-
ments ou des dommages à l’outil. Régler le sens
de rotation en position centrale afin d’éviter tout
allumage accidentel. Introduire complètement la
batterie 5 chargée dans son logement.
Les batteries lithium-ion sont protégées des
décharges électriques grâce au système
"Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". Quand la
batterie est déchargée, l’outil reste éteint grâce à
un circuit de protection.
4. PROTECTION CONTRE LES SURCHAR-
GES
Quand la puissance est trop faible ou qu’il y a
surcharge, la perceuse arrêtera de tourner. La
perceuse peut continuer à tourner quand la puis-
sance est trop élevée ou que la charge est trop
faible.
5. ALLUMAGE ET COUPURE
Pour démarrer la machine, appuyer sur la touche
On / Off.
La lumière s’allume quand l’interrupteur On / Off
est légèrement ou entièrement appuyé et elle
permet d’éclairer la zone de travail quand les
conditions d’éclairage ne sont pas bonnes.
Pour éteindre la machine, relâcher l’interrupteur
On / Off.
6. CONTRÔLE DE LA VITESSE VARIABLE
Appliquez simplement une légère pression sur
l’interrupteur de déclenchement pour démarrer
la perceuse à une vitesse faible. En augmentant
la pression sur l’interrupteur, la vitesse de la
perceuse augmentera.
7. FERMETURE AUTOMATIQUE DU MANDRIN
(AUTO-LOCK)
Quand l’interrupteur On / Off n’est pas appuyé,
le mandrin de la perceuse et le porte-outil sont
bloqués. Ceci permet de visser et dévisser les
inserts de manière simple.
8. CHANGEMENT DU SENS DE ROTATION
Réglez le sens du levier de rotation sur L et R .
Notez que le sens du levier de rotation est verro-
uillé quand l’interrupteur marche-arrêt est action-
né. Le fonctionnement en marche arrière ou
dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une mon-
tre permet de l’utiliser pour desserrer ou enlever
des vis.
Remarque: ne changez pas le sens de rotation
quand la perceuse est en marche.

9. RÉGLAGES DU COUPLE
Cette caractéristique permet de régler le couple
ou la puissance de serrage de votre
perceuse/visseuse et en fonction de l’applica-
tion,ifférents niveaux de puissance sont requis.
Quand vous vissez des vis ayant un grand dia-
mètre, un couple supérieur est nécessaire pour
visser la vis jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit correctement
placée. Quand le couple sélectionné est atteint,
le mandrin arrête de tourner.
Remarque: Positionnez vous toujours sur le
réglage le plus faible.
Le symbole Perceuse offre le réglage de couple
le plus élevé et il est utilisé pour percer et pour
visser/dévisser les plus grosses vis.
10. SÉLECTEUR DE VITESSE MÉCANIQUE
N’actionner le sélecteur de vitesse que quand la
machine est à l’arrêt.
Le sélecteur permet de sélectionner 2 vitesses.
Vitesse I : faible nombre de tours ; pour visser
ou pour effectuer des trous de grandes dimen-
sions.
Vitesse II : nombre élevé de tours, pour effec-
tuer des trous de petites dimensions.
Si le sélecteur de vitesse ne peut pas être insé-
ré, tourner légèrement le mandrin de la perceu-
se.
11. VOYANT DEL DE L’ÉTAT DE LA CHARGE
DE LA BATTERIE
Les trois DEL bleues indiquent l’état de la char-
ge de la batterie quand l’interrupteur On / Off est
à moitié appuyé ou entièrement appuyé.
12. CONSEILS
Après de longues périodes de travail à basse
vitesse, faire refroidir l’outil en faisant tourner le
moteur pendant près de 3 minutes à la vitesse
maximale sans charge.
Pour percer le métal, utiliser des forets HSS par-
faitement affûtés. Avant de visser dans des maté-
riaux durs, il est conseillé de percer un trou pilo-
te d’un diamètre de 2/3 environ de la largeur de
la vis.
13. AVERTISSEMENT
Pour garantir la sécurité et la fiabilité, toutes les
éparations doivent être effectuées par un centre
de service agréé ou d’autres organismes de ser-
vice qualifiés. Utilisez uniquement la batterie et le
chargeur recommandés. La batterie et le bloc de
batteries ne peuvent pas être montés avec des
pièces de monnaie, des outils métalliques
comme les vis ou les tournevis pour éviter les
court-circuits à la batterie ou au bloc de batte-
ries.La batterie et le bloc de batteries doivent
être conservés à l’écart des sources d’incendie,
et ils ne doivent pas être placés pendant une lon-
gue durée dans un environnement possédant
une température élevée (tel que le réchauffe-
ment solaire, un chauffage, ou tout endroit avec
une température supérieure à 50 degrés).
Chargez avec le courant de chargement prévu,
ne chargez pas au-delà du temps de charge-
ment prévu.
14. BATTERIE / CHARGEUR
1. Le bloc de batteries a besoin d’être chargé
avant la première utilisation. Le temps de mise
en charge initiale recommandé est de douze
heures, avant la première utilisation de la per-
ceuse/ visseuse sans fil. Placez le chargeur sur
une surface solide telle que le sol du garage; en
aucun cas sur quelque chose d’inflammable.
Remarque: Passez toujours à une nouvelle bat-
terie quand les performances de l’outil commen-
cent à diminuer. La chaleur intense nuit forte-
ment aux batteries ; plus il y aura de chaleur
générée, plus la batterie perdra en puissance
rapidement. Si l’outil devient chaud à cause de
la batterie, il se peut que celle-ci soit abîmée de
façon définitive. Ne déchargez jamais trop une
batterie en utilisant l’outil quand les performan-
ces ont diminué. Ne tentez jamais de décharger
une batterie en continuant à appuyer sur le
déclencheur. Quand les performances de l’outil
commencent à diminuer, arrêtez l’outil, rechar-
gez la batterie et utilisez une batterie entièrement
chargée pour obtenir des performances optima-
les.
2. Quand le bloc de batteries a besoin d’être
rechargé après la mise en charge initiale, il doit
être chargé pendant 30 min. afin de fonctionner
avec la puissance totale.
3. Température de la pièce où a lieu la mise en
charge : 10°C-40°C (50°F-104°F)
4. Appuyez sur les deux boutons à l’arrière du
bloc de batteries et faites coulisser le bloc pour
le détacher de la perceuse/visseuse.
5. Le bloc de batteries s’adapte uniquement
dans la base du chargeur dans une position, pla-
cez-le dans la base du chargeur, branchez la
base du chargeur dans le chargeur (adaptateur),
et branchez le chargeur (adaptateur) dans une
prise de courant normale.
6. Pendant la mise en charge, le bloc de batte-
ries, la base du chargeur et le chargeur (adapta-

teur) peuvent devenir chauds au toucher. Cela
est normal et n’est pas signe de problème.
7. Quand le bloc de batteries se trouve dans la
base du chargeur, les deux voyants rouge et vert
sur la base du chargeur s’allumeront durant la
mise en charge, quand le bloc de batteries est
entièrement chargé, le voyant rouge s’éteint
pourindiquer que le bloc de batteries est prêt à
être utilisé. Une fois que le bloc de batteries est
entièrement chargé, débranchez le chargeur de
la prise de courant et enlevez le bloc de batteries
du chargeur (adaptateur).
15. PRÉCAUTIONS
Quand les batteries ne se trouvent pas dans l’ou-
til ou le chargeur, conservez-les à l’écart de tout
objet métallique.
NE JETEZ PAS LES BATTERIES AU FEU ET NE
LES EXPOSEZ PAS À UNE FORTE CHALEUR.
Elles pourraient exploser.
16. BATTERIE RECHARGEABLE
Il est nécessaire de conserver les batte-
ries au lithium-ion défectueuses ou
consommées pour les recycler ou les
éliminer selon la directive CEE 91/157
Pour les éliminer, utilisez les conteneurs pour le
tri sélectif. S’ils ne sont pas disponibles, adres-
sez-vous à l’entreprise chargée de l’élimination
des ordures de votre territoire ou bien à votre
revendeur Rupes qui se chargera de les éliminer
conformément à la loi.
17. GARANTIE
Toutes les machines construites par la Société
RUPES Spa sont garanties pendant 12 mois à
compter de la date d’achat contre les défauts
matériau et de fabrication.
Les machines ne doivent être utilisées qu'avec
les pièces détachées et les accessoires origi-
naux RUPES: nous déclinons toute responsabili-
té en cas d'accidents ou de dégâts matériels
provoqués par le non-respect de cette norme,
qui entraînera en outre l'annulation de la garan-
tie.
La garantie prend fin en cas de non-respect des
prescriptions du présent livret ou en cas d’utilisa-
tion impropre de la machine. Elle prend fin éga-
lement si la machine est démontée ou modifiée
ou en cas de dommages évidents dérivant d’un
mauvais entretien.
La garantie est subordonnée au remplissage
du coupon qui se trouve à la dernière page de
couverture du présent livret d’instructions.
En cas de mauvais fonctionnement, la machine,
accompagnée de son certificat de garantie,
devra être remise ou envoyée en port payé, non
démontée et dans son emballage d’origine, au
fabricant ou à un Centre d’Assistance agrée indi-
qué sur la liste annexée au présent livret.
La garantie ne donne pas en aucun cas droit au
remplacement de la machine.
RUPES Spa se réserve le droit de modifier sans
préavis les caractéristiques techniques ou esthé-
tiques des ses produits.
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité quant aux

2. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE UND

Elektrowerkzeuge im beigelegten Heft.
2.1. WARNUNG
Versuchen Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit nicht,
Ihren Bohrer zu verwenden, wenn die Batterie
nicht voll aufgeladen ist und Sie nicht alle
Anweisungen gelesen haben:
Bedenken Sie, dass der Bohrer stets betriebsbe-
reit ist und nicht an eine Steckdose angeschlos-
sen sein muss. Bei Nichtbenutzung den
Vorwärts-/Rückwärtsschalter in Neutralstellung
bringen. Vor dem Bohren sicherstellen, dass
keine Elektrokabel, Wasser oder Gasleitungen
unter der Oberfläche verlaufen. Verwenden Sie
einen Metalldetektor/Spannungsmesser.Weder
den Bohrer noch das Ladegerät Regen ausset-
zen. Die Batterie nicht überladen, da dies die
Batteriezellen beschädienönnte.
2.2. SICHERN SIE DAS WERKSTÜCK
Verwenden Sie Klemmen oder eine Zwinge, um
das Werkstück zu befestigen. Dies ist sicherer,
als es mit der Hand festzuhalten und lässt beide
Hände zum Bedienen des Werkzeugs frei.
2.3. VERSEHENTLICHES STARTEN VERMEI-
DEN
Das Werkzeug nicht mit einem Finger auf dem
Schalter transportieren.
2.4. ZUSÄTZLICHE ICHERHEITSVORSCHRIF-
TEN FÜR SCHNURLOSE MOTORBETRIEBE-
NE WERKZEUGE
Sicherheit ist eine Kombination des gesunden
Menschenverstands des Bedieners und der
Wachsamkeit zu jeder Zeit während der
Benutzung des Werkzeugs.
2.5. ENTSORGUNG DER BATTERIE
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Batterie so sicher wie
vom Hersteller beschrieben entsorgt wird.
2.6. GESUNDHEIT UND BATTERIESICHER-
HEIT
Allgemein: nicht verbrennen oder beschädigen –
Batteriezellen könne platzen oder Giftstoffe frei-
setzen. Zellen nicht kurzschließen, da dies zu
Verbrennungen führen kann.
2.7. WARTUNG
Weder der Bohrer noch das Ladegerät erfordern
spezielle Wartung. Bewahren Sie sowohl den
Bohrer als auch das Ladegerät an einem trocke-
nem Ort auf, an dem sie weder Frost noch direk-
ter Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sind.
Entfernen Sie die Batterie aus dem Werkzeug vor
allen Eingriffen am Gerät (z.B. Wartung,

Werkzeugwechsel, usw.) oder während des
Transports und der Lagerung. Beim Betätigen
des Schalters On / Off besteht die Gefahr unbe-
absichtigter Verletzungen.
3. BEDIENUNG DER WERKZEUGE
Ladestand der Batterie (siehe Abbildung A)
Verwenden Sie nur das dem Werkzeug beilie-
gende Batterieladegerät. Die Lithiumionen-
Batterien dieses Werkzeugs sind nur zu diesem
Batterieladegerät kompatibel.
Ihr Werkzeug wird nur teilweise aufgeladen
geliefert und muss vor der Benutzung voll aufge-
laden werden. Beim ersten Mal empfehlen wir
eine Aufladezeit. Entfernen Sie die Batterie vom
Werkzeug und setzen Sie sie in das Ladegerät.
Dann den Stecker des Ladegeräts in eine 230-V-
Steckdose einstecken. Die rote undgrüne
Leuchte schalten sich ein, um anzuzeigen, dass
der Ladevorgang läuft. Nach einer Ladezeit von
ca. 30 min. schaltet sich die rote Leuchte aus
und nur die grüne bleibt eingeschaltet. Dies zeigt
an, dass die Batterie voll aufgeladen ist.
AUSWECHSELN DES AKKUS
- Die Tasten zum Lösen des Akkus drücken und
diesen gleichzeitig nach unten herausziehen;
- Der Gebrauch von für das Gerät ungeeigneten
Batterien kann zu Funktionsstörungen und
Schäden am Werkzeug führen. Richten Sie die
Rotationsrichtung in der mittleren Stellung ein,
um ein unabsichtliches Einschalten zu vermei-
den. Setzen Sie die Batterie 5 aufgeladen in ihre
Aufnahme ein.
4. ÜBERLASTSCHUTZ
Liegt eine zu geringe Batterieladung vor oder
eine Überlast, stoppt die Rotation des Bohrers.
Der Bohrer kann immer noch rotieren, wenn die
Leistung hoch oder die Last gering ist.
5. EIN- UND AUSSCHALTEN
Betätigen Sie die Taste On / Off, um das Gerät
einzuschalten. Die Leuchte schaltet sich ein,
wenn der Schalter On / Off leicht oder vollstän-
dig gedrückt wurde. Sie ermöglicht ein
Erleuchten des Arbeitsbereichs, wenn keine
guten Lichtverhältnisse herrschen.
Lassen Sie den Schalter On / Off los, um das
Gerät auszuschalten.
6. VARIABLE GESCHWINDIGKEITSSTEUE-
RUNG
Einfach leichten Druck auf den Schalter ausü-
ben, um den Bohrer mit langsamer
Geschwindigkeit zu starten. Durch Erhöhen des
Drucks auf den Schalter erhöht sich die
Geschwindigkeit des Bohrers.
7. AUTOMATISCHES VERRIEGELN DES
FUTTERS (AUTO-LOCK)
Wenn der Schalter On / Off nicht betätigt wird,
sind das Bohrfutter und der Werkzeughalter
blockiert. Dadurch lassen sich die Einsätze
mühelos auf- und abschrauben.
8. ÄNDERN DER ROTATIONSRICHTUNG
Die Richtung des Rotationshebels auf L und R
stellen. Beachten Sie, dass die Richtung des
Rotationshebels verriegelt ist, wenn der An-/Aus-
Schalter aktiviert ist. Der Betrieb rückwärts oder
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn lässt das Gerät
Vorgänge durchführen wie das Lösen oder
Entfernen von Schrauben.
Hinweis: Die Rotationsrichtung nicht ändern,
während der Bohrer läuft.
9. DREHMOMENTEINSTELLUNG
Diese Funktion gestattet die Einstellung des
Drehmoments oder der Anzugsleistung Ihres
Bohrers/Antriebs und es sind geräteabhängig
verschiedene Stufen der Antriebskraft erforder-
lich. Bei größeren Schraubendurchmessern ist
ein höheres Drehmoment erforderlich, um die
Schraube korrekt einzuschrauben. Ist das kor-
rekte Drehmoment erreicht, stoppt die Rotation
des Spannfutters.
Hinweis: Stets mit der niedrigsten Stufe begin-
nen. Das Bohrersymbol ergibt die höchste
Drehmomenteinstellung und wird zum Bohren
und Verschrauben größerer Schrauben verwen-
det.
10. MECHANISCHER DREHZAHLWÄHLER
Betätigen Sie den Drehzahlwähler nur, wenn das
Gerät stillsteht. Der Wahlschalter ermöglicht die
Auswahl zwischen 2 Drehzahlen.

Drehzahl I: niedrige Drehzahl; zum
Anschrauben oder zum Herstellen von
Bohrungen mit großem Durchmesser.
Drehzahl II: hohe Drehzahl; zum Herstellen von
Bohrungen mit kleinem Durchmesser.
Drehen Sie geringfügig am Futter der
Bohrmaschine, wenn sich der Drehzahlwähler
nicht betätigen lässt.
11. LED-ANZEIGE DES ATTERIELADE-
STANDS
Die drei blauen LED den Ladestand der Batterie
an, wenn der Schalter On / Off halb oder ganz
gedrückt wird.
12. EMPFEHLUNGEN
Lassen Sie nach längerem Arbeiten bei niedriger
Drehzahl das Werkzeug abkühlen, indem Sie
den Motor etwa 3 min bei höchster Drehzahl
ohne Last laufen lassen. Verwenden Sie zum
Bohren von Metall gut geschliffene HHS-Bohrer.
Vor dem Schrauben in harten Materialien ist es
ratsam, eine kleine Pilotbohrung mit einem
Durchmesser von etwa 2/3 der Schraubendicke
herzustellen.
13. WARNUNG
Um die Sicherheit und Verlässlichkeit zu garan-
tieren, sollten alle Reparaturen von einem autori-
sierten Kundendienstzentrum oder anderen qua-
lifizierten Wartungsgesellschaften durchgeführt
werden. Nur die empfohlenen Batterien und
Ladegeräte verwenden. Batterie und
Akkumulator nicht mit Münzen und Metallteilen

des Akkumulators zu vermeiden. Batterie und
Akkumulator von Feuerquellen fernhalten und
nicht für längere Zeit in Umgebungen mit hohen
Temperaturen aufbewahren (wie z.B.
Solarheizung, Heizung oder sonstige Orte mit
Temperaturen über 50°C). Mit regulärem
Ladestrom aufladen und die reguläre Ladezeit
nicht überschreiten.
14. LADEGERÄT BATTERIE
1. Der Akkumulator muss vor der ersten
Verwendung aufgeladen werden. Die empfohle-
ne erste Ladezeit beträgt vor der ersten
Verwendung des schnurlosen Bohrers/Antriebs.
Das Ladegerät auf einer stabilen Fläche aufstel-
len wie einem Garagenboden und nie auf bren-
nbaren Materialien.
Hinweis: Verwenden Sie stets eine neue
Batterie, wenn die Werkzeugleistung nachzulas-
sen beginnt. Starke Wärme hat zerstörende
Auswirkungen auf Batterien. Je mehr Wärme
erzeugt wird, desto schneller verliert die Batterie
an Leistung. Eine zu heiß gewordene Batterie
kann bleibend geschädigt werden. Batterien nie
zu stark entladen, indem das Werkzeug verwen-
det wird, nachdem die Leistung nachlässt. Nie
versuchen, eine Batterie zu entladen, indem Sie
weiter den Schalter betätigen. Wenn die
Werkzeugleistung beginnt nachzulassen, das
Werkzeug ausschalten, die Batterie aufladen
und die völlig aufgeladene Batterie für optimale
Leistung verwenden.
2. Erfordert der Akkumulator nach dem ersten
Aufladen das Wiederaufladen, muss er drei bis
30 min. lang aufgeladen werden, um bei voller
Leistung eingesetzt werden zu können.
3. Raumtemperatur beim Aufladen: 10°C-40°C
(50°F-104°F)
4. Beide Tasten auf der Rückseite des
Akkumulators drücken und die Einheit nach
unten schieben, um sie vom Bohrer/Antrieb zu
lösen.
5. Der Akkumulator kann nur in einer Position in
die Ladebasis eingesetzt werden. In die
Ladebasis einsetzen, die Ladebasis in das
Ladegerät einsetzen und das Ladegerät
(Adapter) in eine beliebige Standardsteckdose
einstecken.
6. Während des Aufladens können Akkumulator,
Ladebasis und Ladegerät (Adapter) sich warm
anfühlen. Dies ist normal und weist nicht auf
Probleme hin.
7. Wenn sich der Akkumulator in der Ladebasis
befindet, leuchten sowohl die roten als auch die
grünen Leuchten auf der Ladebasis während
des Ladens auf. Ist der Akkumulator voll aufgela-
den, schaltet sich die rote Leuchte aus und zeigt
an, dass der Akkumulator einsatzbereit ist.
Sobald der Akkumulator voll aufgeladen ist, das
Ladegerät aus der Steckdose ziehen und den
Akkumulator aus dem Ladegerät (Adapter)
entnehmen.
15. BATTERIEPFLEGE
Wenn die Batterien sich nicht mehr im Werkzeug
oder im Ladegerät befinden, halten Sie diese
vonMetallgegenständen entfernt. BATTERIEN
NICHT INS FEUER WERFEN ODER GROSSER
WÄRME AUSSETZEN. Sie können explodieren.

BATTERIE
Defekte oder entladene Lithium-Ionen-
Batterien müssen zum Zweck des
Recyclings oder der umweltgerechten
Entsorgung gemäß der Richtlinie CEE 91/157
aufbewahrt werden.
Zur Entsorgung die für die Mülltrennung bereit-
gestellten Behälter verwenden. Sollten diese
nicht verfügbar sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an die
hierfür zuständigen Sammelstellen Ihrer Region
oder an Ihren Rupes-Vertragshändler, der sie
den gesetzlichen Vorschriften entsprechend
entsorgt
17. GARANTIE
Für alle von ihr hergestellten Geräte leistet die
Fa. RUPES Spa Gewähr im von Mangeln, die
innerhalb von 12 Monaten ab dem Kaufdatum
aufgrund Material-oder Fabrikationsfehlern auf-
treten. Die Maschinen dürfen ausschließlich mit
Originalzubehör und Originalersatzteilen von
RUPES betrieben werden: Das Unternehmen
haftet nicht für Unfälle oder Schäden, die auf die
Nichtbeachtung dieser Bestimmung zurückzufü-
hren sind, die außerdem zum unverzüglichen
Verfall der Garantie führt. Der Garantieanspruch
entfällt bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch des
Gerätes oder der Nichteinhaltung dieser
Gebrauchasanleitung. Er entfällt ebenfalls, wenn
das Gerät demontiert bzw. umgerüstet wurde
oder sichtbare Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Pflege aufweist. Die Inansprunchnahme der
Garantieleistung ist nur möglich, wenn der
Abschnitt auf der vorletzten Umschlagseite
dieser Gebrauchsanleitung ausgefüllt ist. Im
Fall einer nachweislichen Funktiosstörung muß
das Gerät dem Hersteller komplett montiert, ori-
ginalverpackt und mit beiliegender Garantiekarte
fracht und portofrei übergeben bzw. zugesendet
werden. Die Übergabe an ein autorisiertes
Kundendienstzentrum (siehe beiliegendes
Verzeichnis) ist ebenfalls möglich. In keinem Fall
leitet sich aus dem Garantieanspruch ein
Rechtsanspruch auf die Ersetzung des Gerätes
ab. Die Fa. RUPES SpA behält sich das Recht
vor, ohne Vorankündigung technische und
ästhetische Änderungen an ihren Produkten vor-
zunehmen. Das Unternehmen haftet nicht für
eventuelle Druckfehler. Vorliegendes Dokument
annulliert und ersetzt alle früheren

2. CONSEJOS SOBRE SEGURIDAD Y
PREVENCIÓN DE ACCIDENTES
Antes de poner la màquina en funcionamiento,
lea detenidamente las instrucciones de uso y
siga los «Consejos de seguridad» descritos a
continuación y las «Normas generales de
seguridad para trabajar con herramientas
eléctricas» expuestas en el anexo adjunto.
2.1. ADVERTENCIA
Por su propia seguridad, no intente utilizar el
taladro sin la carga de la batería completa o sin
haber leído todas las instrucciones:
Recuerde que el taladro siempre está en condi-
ciones de funcionar y no necesita conectarse a
una toma de alimentación eléctrica. Cuando la
herramienta no esté en uso, deje el interruptor
deavance/retroceso en posición neutra. Antes
de perforar, compruebe que no haya cables
eléctricos o conductos de agua o gas por deba-
jo de la superficie a perforar. Utilice un detector
de metales / tensión. No exponga el taladro o el
cargador a la lluvia o al agua. No sobrecargue la
batería. La sobrecarga puede dañar las celdas
de la batería.
2.2. TRABAJO SEGURO
Utilice abrazaderas o tornillos de banco para el
mecanizado. Es más seguro que utilizar las
manos y permite mantener las manos libres para
manejar la herramienta.
2.3. EVITE LOS ARRANQUES
ACCIDENTALES
No transporte la herramienta con el dedo sobre
el interruptor de encendido.
2.4. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
ADICIONALES
La seguridad es una combinación de sentido
común y vigilancia constante durante el uso de
las herramientas.
2.5. ELIMINACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
Asegúrese de que la batería se elimine de modo
seguro conforme a las instrucciones del fabri-
cante.
2.6. SALUD Y SEGURIDAD CON RELACIÓN A
LAS BATERÍAS
Generalidades: no exponga las baterías al fuego
y no las rompa: las celdas podrían explotar y
liberar materiales tóxicos. No cortocircuite las
celdas ya que podrían producirse quemaduras.
2.7. MANTENIMIENTO
Ni el taladro ni el cargador requieren tareas de
mantenimiento particulares. Guarde el taladro y
el cargador en un lugar seco no expuesto a hela-
das o a la luz solar. Antes de cualquier interven-
ción en la máquina (por ejemplo, mantenimien-
to, cambio de herramientas, etc.), así como para
el transporte y el almacenaje, hay que sacar la
batería de la herramienta. Peligro de lesionarse
al accionar el interruptor On / Off

3. USO DE LAS HERRAMIENTAS
Carga de la batería (ver Figura A)
Utilizar sólo el cargador de baterías suministrado
con la herramienta Las baterías de iones de litio
de esta herramienta se pueden cargar sólo con
este cargador.
Las baterías se suministran con una carga par-
cial. Cargue las baterías por completo antes de
utilizar la herramienta. Se recomienda una carga
inicial. Saque el paquete de baterías de la herra-
mienta y conéctelo al cargador. Introduzca la
clavija del cargador en una toma de alimenta-
ción eléctrica de 230 V. Las luces roja y verde se
encienden para indicar la carga en curso. A las
30 min. aproximadamente, la luz roja se apaga.
La verde permanece encendida paraindicar que
el paquete de baterías está totalmente cargado.
SUSTITUCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
- Apretar los pulsadores de desenganche y tirar
contemporáneamente hacia abajo la batería
descargada hasta que salga del alojamiento;
- El uso de baterías no adecuadas para la máqui-
na puede causar defectos de funcionamiento y
daños al usuario. Ajustar la dirección de rotación
en posición central para evitar encendidos invo-
luntarios. Introducir en el alojamiento la batería 5
cargada.
Las baterías de iones de litio están protegidas
contra las descargas eléctricas por el sistema
"Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". Cuando la
batería está descargada, la herramienta perma-
nece apagada gracias a un circuito de protec-
ción.
4. PROTECCIÓN CONTRA SOBRECARGAS
Si la corriente es demasiado baja o la carga es
demasiado alta, el taladro deja de girar. Si la cor-
riente es alta o la carga es baja, la rotación no se
detiene.
5. ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO
Para poner la máquina en funcionamiento, pul-
sar el interruptor On / Off.
La luz se enciende cuando el interruptor On / Off
está parcial o totalmente pulsado, y permite ilu-
minar la zona de trabajo, en caso de que la ilu-
minación sea escasa.
Para apagar la máquina, desactivar el interruptor
On / Off.
6. MANDO DE VELOCIDAD VARIABLE
Ejerza una leve presión en el interruptor para
activar el taladro a baja velocidad. A medida que
aumente la presión en el interruptor, aumentará
la velocidad del taladro.
7. CIERRE AUTOMÁTICO DEL MANDRIL
(Auto-lock)
Si el interruptor On / Off no está activado, el
mandril del taladro y el portaherramientas están
bloqueados.
Esto permite atornillar o destornillar las herra-
mientas de manera sencilla.
8.CAMBIO DE DIRECCIÓN DE LA ROTACIÓN
Ponga la palanca de rotación en L o R.
Nota: la palanca de rotación queda bloqueada al
activarse el interruptor de encendido. El funcio-
namiento en sentido antihorario o en retroceso
permite el aflojamiento o la extracción de tornil-
los.
Nota: No cambie la dirección de rotación duran-
te el funcionamiento del taladro.
9. AJUSTES DE LA TORSIÓN
Esta prestación permite ajustar la torsión o la
potencia del taladro/atornillador. Cada aplica-
ción requiere un nivel de potencia diferente. Para
atornillar tornillos de diámetro ancho, se necesi-
ta una torsión mayor. Al alcanzar la torsión selec-
cionada, el mandril deja de girar.
Nota: Comience siempre con el ajuste más bajo.
El símbolo del taladro indica el máximo ajuste de
torsión, que se utiliza para perforar y atornillar
tornillos de diámetro ancho.
10.SELECTOR DE VELOCIDAD MECÁNICO
Accionar el selector de velocidad sólo cuando la
máquina esté parada.
El selector permite seleccionar 2 velocidades.
Velocidad I: bajo número de revoluciones; para
atornillar o realizar orificios de grandes dimen-
siones.
Velocidad II: alto número de revoluciones; para
realizar orificios de pequeñas dimensiones.
Si el selector de velocidad no se puede activar,

girar apenas el mandril del taladro.
11. INDICADOR LED DEL ESTADO DE CARGA
DE LA BATERÍA
Los tres LED azules indican el estado de carga
de la batería cuando el interruptor On / Off está
pulsado parcial o totalmente.
12. CONSEJOS
Después de largos períodos de trabajo a baja
velocidad, dejar enfriar la herramienta haciendo
girar el motor unos 3 minutos a la máxima velo-
cidad sin carga.
Para perforar metales hay que utilizar puntas
HSS perfectamente afiladas.
Antes de atornillar en materiales duros, se reco-
mienda realizar un orificio piloto cuyo diámetro
equivalga a 2/3 del ancho del tornillo.
13. ADVERTENCIA
Para garantizar la seguridad y la fiabilidad, las
reparaciones deberían ser realizadas por un
centro de asistencia autorizado o una empresa
calificada.
Utilice únicamente las baterías y los cargadores
recomendados. Las baterías y el paquete de
baterías no deben entrar en contacto con mone-
das o piezas metálicas como tornillos o atornilla-
dores para evitar cortocircuitos. Las baterías y el
paquete de baterías deberían mantenerse lejos
de fuentes de incendio y no permanecer dema-
siado tiempo en ambientes a alta temperatura
(expuestos al sol, cerca de estufaso a más de 50
grados). Cargue las baterías con la corriente de
carga regulada. No supere el tiempo de recarga
prescrito.
14. CARGADOR DE BATERÍAS
1. El paquete de baterías requiere una carga
inicial antes del primer uso. Se recomienda una
carga inicial de doce horas antes del primer uso
del taladro/atornillador inalámbrico. Coloque el
cargador sobre una superficie sólida; por ejem-
plo, en el piso del garaje. Nunca lo apoye sobre
material inflamable.
Nota: Cambie la batería cada vez que las presta-
ciones de la herramienta comiencen a disminuir.
El calor severo es destructivo para las baterías;
cuanto más calor se genere, menos durarán las
baterías. Una batería recalentada por una herra-
mienta podría dañarse irremediablemente.
Nunca permita que las baterías se descarguen
por completo mediante el uso de la herramienta
después de que sus prestaciones comienzan a
disminuir. Nunca intente descargar por comple-
to una batería accionando continuamente el
interruptor. Cuando las prestaciones de la herra-
mienta comiencen a disminuir, detenga la herra-
mienta, recargue la batería y utilice una batería
con carga completa para asegurar las máximas
prestaciones.
2.La recarga normal de la batería después del
primer uso lleva entre 30 min. para garantizar el
funcionamiento con toda la potencia.
3. Temperatura ambiente para la carga: 10°C-
40°C (50°F-104°F).
4. Hunda ambos botones en la parte posterior
del paquete de baterías y separe la unidad del
taladro/atornillador.
5. El paquete de baterías se puede insertar en la
base del cargador en una sola posición posible.
Insértelo en la base del cargador, conecte la
base del cargador al cargador (Adaptador) y
conecte el cargador (Adaptador) a una toma
eléctrica estándar.
6. Durante la carga, el paquete de baterías, la
base del cargador y el cargador (Adaptador) se
pueden recalentar. Esto es normal y no consti-
tuye un problema.
7. Con el paquete de baterías en la base del car-
gador, las luces roja y verde de la base del car-
gador estarán iluminadas mientras dure la
carga.
Cuando el paquete de baterías esté totalmente
cargado, la luz roja se apagará, indicando que el
paquete de baterías está listo para usar.
Terminada la carga completa del paquete de
baterías, desconecte el cargador de la toma
eléctrica y saque el paquete de baterías del car-
gador (Adaptador).
15. CUIDADO DE LAS BATERÍAS
Cuando las baterías no estén en la herramienta
o en el cargador, manténgalas lejos de objetos
metálicos.
NO PONGA LAS BATERÍAS EN EL FUEGO NI
LAS EXPONGA A CALOR INTENSO. Podrían
explotar.
16. BATERÍA RECARGABLE
Es necesario conservar las baterías de
iones de litio defectuosas o usadas
para su reciclaje o eliminación ecológi-
ca conforme a la directiva CEE 91/157.
Para la eliminación se han de utilizar contenedo-
res de recogida diferenciada. Si dichos contene-

dores no estuvieran disponibles, dirigirse a la
Empresa de Servicios Ambientales competente
del territorio o al revendedor Rupes, quien se
encargará de la eliminación conforme a la ley.
17. GARANTIA
Todas las máquinas fabricadas por RUPES Spa
están garantizadas durante 12 meses a partir de
su fecha de compra, contra defectos tanto de
materiales, como de fabricación.
Las máquinas deben ser utilizadas exclusiva-
mente con accesorios y repuestos originales
RUPES: se rehúsa cualquier responsabilidad
ante daños o accidentes causados por el incum-
plimiento de la presente norma que también
anula la garantía.
La garantía caduca si no se respetan las pre-
scripciones del presente manual o si la máquina
se usa de manera impropia. También caduca si
la màquina es desmontada o abierta abusiva-
mente o si presenta daños derivados del maltra-
to de la misma.
La garantìa està subordinada al relleno del
cupón incluido en la ùltima de tapa del pre-
sente manual de instrucciones.
En caso de comprobado mal funcionamiento, la
máquina, acompañada del certificado de garan-
tìa, deberá entregarse o enviarse con porte
pagado, sin dismontarla y en su embalaje origi-
nal, a la fábrica o a un Centro de Asistencia auto-
rizado indicado en la lista adjunta al presente
manual. En ningùn caso la garantia da derecho
a la substitución de la máquina.
La RUPES Spa se reserva el derecho de aportar
sin previo aviso cualquier modificación de las
características técnicas o estéticas de sus pro-
ductos.
No se asume ninguna responsabilidad por even-
tuales errores de impresión. Este documento
anula y sustituye los precedentes.
