SwitchingOntheAppliance
•Beforeswitching on,place theappliance inan uprightposition
andwaitatleastthreehourswithoutmoving theappliance. This
will givethe refrigerantcircuittimetosettleand operate
efficiently.
•Clean theappliancethoroughly,especiallyintheinterior,beforeuse(SeeCleaning
andMaintenance).
•Installation oftheappliance andelectricalconnectionsmustbe
carriedoutbyaqualifiedtechnician,inaccordancewiththe
Installation Manualand localregulations.
•Installation procedureintothekitchenunitisgiveninthe
InstallationManual.Thisproductisintendedtobeusedin
properkitchen unitsonly.
•Theappliancemustbeconnectedwithaproperlyinstalledfused
socket. Powersupply(AC)andvoltageatthe operating point
correspondwiththe detailsonthenameplateoftheappliance
(nameplateislocated onthe inside leftofthe appliance).
•Insert the plugintoasocketwithanefficientgroundconnection.
Ifthe sockethasnogroundcontactortheplugdoes notmatch,
wesuggestyou tocallanauthorized electricianforassistance.
•Manufacturerisnotresponsibleforfailuretocompletethe
groundconnection asdescribedinthisbooklet.
•Therecanbean odorwhen you firstswitchontheappliance.Itwilldisappearafter

HOWTO OPERATETHEAPPLIANCE
ThermostatSetting
•Thethermostatautomaticallyregulates theinsidetemperatureoftherefrigerator
compartmentandfreezercompartment.Byrotating the knobfromposition 1to5,
coldertemperaturescanbeobtained.
•The“0 “positionshowsthermostatisclosedandnocoolingisavailable.
•Forshort-termstorageoffood inthefreezercompartment,youcan settheknob
betweenminimumand mediumposition (1-3).
•Forlong-termstorageoffoodinthe freezercompartment,you cansetknob medium
position.(3-4)
• Notethat; the ambienttemperature,temperatureofthe freshlystoredfood and
howoftenthedoorisopened,affectsthetemperatureinthe refrigeratorand
freezercompartments.If required,changethe temperaturesetting.
•Whenyoufirstswitchontheappliance,you shouldideallytrytorunitwithoutany
food infor24 hoursand notopenthedoor. Ifyouneed touseit straight away,trynot
toputmuch foodinside.
•Iftheunitisswitchedofforunplugged,youmustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartinginordernottodamagethecompressor.

FOODSTORAGE
Refrigeratorcompartmentisusedforstoring freshfoodforfewdays.
•Donotplacefoodindirectcontactwiththe rearwallofthe refrigeratorcompartment.
Leave somespacearoundfoodtoallowcirculationofair.
•Donotplace hotfood orevaporatingliquidintherefrigerator.
•Always storefoodinclosedcontainersorwrapped.
•Toreducehumidityandavoidformation offrost, neverplaceliquidsinunsealed
containersintherefrigerator.
•Meatofall types,isrecommendedtobeplaced ontheglassshelf justabovethe
vegetablebin,wheretheairiscolder.
•You canputthefruitsand vegetables intothecrisperwithoutpackaging.
•Toavoidthecoldairescaping,trynottoopenthedoortoooften,and notleavethe
dooropenforalongtime.
CLEANINGAND MAINTENANCE
• Disconnecttheappliancefromthepowersupplybeforecleaning.
•Donotpourwaterovertheappliance.
•Therefrigeratorcompartmentshouldbecleaned
periodicallyusing asolution ofbicarbonateofsoda
andlukewarmwater.
•Cleanthe accessoriesseparatelywithsoapand water.
Donotputtheminthe dishwasher.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps. After
washing,rinse withcleanwaterand drycarefully.When
thecleaning operations havebeencompleted,reconnect
theplug with dryhands.

Defrosting theRefrigerator
•Defrostingoccursautomaticallyinrefrigeratorduringoperation;thedefrostwateris
collected bythe evaporatingtray andevaporatesautomatically.
•Thedefrostwaterdrainholeshouldbecleanedperiodicallywithdefrostdrainplug to
preventthewaterfromcollectingonthe bottomoftherefrigeratorinstead offlowing
out.
•You canalsopour½glassofthewatertodrainholetoclean inside.
Replacing theLightBulb
Whenreplacing thebulboftherefrigerator;
1. Unplugtheunitfromthepowersupply.
2. Pressthehook infrontofthelightcoversuch as Figure1and removethelight
cover.
3. Changethepresentlightbulbwithanewoneofnotmorethan15 W.
4. Replacethe lightcoverand afterwaiting5minutesplug theunit.

Ifyourrefrigeratorisnotworking properly,itmay beaminorproblem,thereforecheck
thefollowing.
Theappliancedoes notoperate,
Check if;
•Thereisapowerfailure,
•Themainsplugisnotproperlypluggedin,orisloose
•The thermostatsettingisonposition“0”,
•Thesocketisdefective. Tocheck this,plug inanotherappliancethatyou knowwhich
isworkingintothesamesocket.
Theapplianceperformspoorly;
Check if;
•You have overloaded theappliance,
•The doorsarenotclosed perfectly,
•Therearenotenough ventilation ductson thekitchenunitas mentionedinthe
Installation Manual.
Ifthereisnoise;
Thecoolinggas which circulates intherefrigeratorcircuitmaymake aslightnoise
(bubblingsound)even whenthecompressorisnotrunning.Donotworry,thisisquite
normal.Ifthesesoundsaredifferentcheckif;
•Theapplianceisinstalled firmlyasdescribed inthe InstallationManual.
•Theobjectsontheappliancearevibrating.
If thereiswaterinthelowerpart ofthe refrigerator;
Check if;
The drainholefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(use defrostdrainplugtocleanthe
drainhole).
