Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eine Universalfernbedienung von ruwido entschieden haben. Ihre neue
Fernbedienung ersetzt die Originalfernbedienung Ihres Fernsehgerätes, die Fernbedienung für Ihren Satelliten-
Receiver bzw. DVB-T/Kabel-Box (nachfolgend auch STB genannt) sowie Ihren Bluray- oder DVD Player/
Recorder.
Lesen Sie alle Anweisungen aufmerksam durch und bewahren Sie die Anleitung auf, um auch zu einem späteren
Zeitpunkt nachschlagen zu können. Nähere Informationen und weitere Hinweise erhalten Sie unter www.
ruwido-consumer.com. Bei Fragen können Sie sich jederzeit an die kostenlose ruwido Info-Line 00800 31133113

Mit Hilfe der vorliegenden Bedienungsanleitung sowie der zugehörigen Code- und Brandliste können Sie Ihre
Fernbedienung wie folgt programmieren:
a) Durch manuelle Programmierung mit Eingabe eines vierstelligen Codes aus der Codeliste,
b) durch automatische Programmierung nach Marke (Brand) mit Eingabe des dreistelligen Codes aus der
Brandliste
c) durch automatischen Suchlauf
d) oder durch Einlernen der Codes von der Originalfernbedienung.
Wir empfehlen mit der manuellen Programmierung zu beginnen.
Einlegen und Wechseln der Batterien
Ihre m_4 Fernbedienung wird durch zwei 3-Volt-Lithium-Batterien (CR 2032) versorgt. Legen Sie die Batterien
entsprechend der im Batteriefach angezeigten Markierung ein. Achten Sie besonders auf die Richtigkeit der
Polung. Entsorgen Sie Altbatterien entsprechend den örtlichen Vorschriften.
Hinweis :
Ihre m_4 verfügt über einen internen Zwischenspeicher, so dass die Programmierung auch nach dem
Batteriewechsel erhalten bleibt.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen ausschließlich neue Batterien zu verwenden. Verwenden Sie niemals alte und neue
Batterien gemeinsam, weil dadurch die Leistungsfähigkeit Ihrer Fernbedienung sowie die Lebensdauer der
Batterien negativ beeinflusst werden.
Generelle Informationen
Ihre m_4 ist mit einem 5-Sekunden-Schutzmechanismus ausgestattet. Bei jedem Programmierschritt muss
innerhalb von 5 Sekunden eine Taste gedrückt werden, andernfalls wird die Fernbedienung in den regulären
Bedienmodus zurückgesetzt.
Hinweis :
Zweimal kurzes Blinken der Signal-LED bestätigt die Eingabe, ein langes Blinken weist auf einen Abbruch hin.
Falls Sie eine Codenummer falsch eingegeben haben, drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste und warten Sie auf ein
langes Blinken der Signal-LED. Danach können Sie mit der Eingabe gemäß Anleitung fortfahren.

Manuelle Programmierung
1) Schalten Sie Ihr Fernsehgerät, Ihren Satelliten-Receiver bzw. Ihre DVB-T/Kabel-Box (STB) und Ihren DVD-/
Bluray Player bzw. Recorder (DVD) ein.
2) Schlagen Sie die Marke Ihres Gerätes unter „TV“, „STB“ oder „DVD“ in der Codeliste nach. Ein oder mehrere
4-stellige Zifferncodes werden für jede Marke gezeigt.
Hinweis :
Auf unserer Website www.ruwido-consumer.com können Sie in der Codesuche im Support-Bereich Ihre
Geräte-Modellnummer direkt eingeben, um den passenden Code zu finden. So ersparen Sie sich das Testen
mehrerer Codes.
3) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (

Codeliste ein. Die Signal-LED ( ) blinkt zweimal, um anzuzeigen, dass der Code angenommen wurde.
5) Testen Sie die Funktionsfähigkeit Ihrer Fernbedienung mit der Standby-Taste ( ) und weiter mit den Tasten 1
bis 47 (gemäß Tabelle Funktionsbeschreibung).
6) Reagiert das Gerät nicht oder nur teilweise auf die Tastenbefehle, wiederholen Sie die Schritte 3 bis 5 unter
Verwendung des nächsten Codes aus der Codeliste.
7) Reagiert das Gerät ordnungsgemäß auf alle Funktionen, dann ist Ihre m_4 richtig programmiert und kann
eingesetzt werden. Bitte notieren Sie sich den verwendeten Code als Referenz.

Automatische Programmierung nach Marke (Brand)
Alternativ oder falls sich bei der manuellen Programmierung der richtige Code für Ihr Gerät nicht findet, können
Sie den automatischen Suchlauf nach Marke (Brand) zur Programmierung verwenden.
1) Schalten Sie Ihr Fernsehgerät, Ihren Satelliten-Receiver bzw. Ihre DVB-T/Kabel-Box (STB) und Ihren DVD-/
Bluray Player bzw. Recorder (DVD) ein.
2) Schlagen Sie die Marke Ihres Gerätes im entsprechenden „TV, „STB“ oder „DVD“ Abschnitt in der Brandliste
im Anhang dieser Anleitung nach. Für jede Marke gibt es einen 3-stelligen Brandcode.
3) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (

)-, STB (

)-Taste, je nachdem, welche Ebene
Sie programmieren möchten, bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.
4) Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten

den Code 5 0 0 3 für DVD
ein. Die Signal-LED ( ) blinkt zweimal um zu bestätigen, dass der Suchmodus aktiviert wurde.
5) Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten den dreistelligen Brandcode der von Ihnen gewählten Marke aus der
Brandliste ein. Die Signal-LED ( ) blinkt zweimal, um anzuzeigen, dass der Code angenommen wurde.
6) Halten Sie bei TV und STB die Standby-Taste ( ) bzw. bei DVD die Stop-Taste ( ) Ihrer m_4 so lange
gedrückt, bis sich das Gerät ausschaltet bzw. bei DVD die Wiedergabe stoppt. Dieser Vorgang kann mehrere
Minuten dauern.
7) Sobald das Gerät reagiert hat, drücken Sie zur Bestätigung der Programmierung die OK-Taste (
ok
) so lange,
bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.
8) Testen Sie die Funktionsfähigkeit Ihrer Fernbedienung mit der Standby-Taste ( ) und weiter mit den Tasten 1
bis 47 (gemäß Tabelle Funktionsbeschreibung).
9) Reagiert das Gerät ordnungsgemäß auf alle Funktionen, dann ist Ihre m_4 richtig programmiert und kann
eingesetzt werden.
Hinweis :
Es kann passieren, dass Ihre m_4 Fernbedienung während des Suchlaufs mehrere Codes findet, auf die Ihr Gerät
anspricht, aber nicht bei jedem Code alle Tasten funktionieren. In diesem Fall sollten Sie den Suchlauf erneut
starten (Schritte 3 bis 9), bis Sie den besten Code gefunden haben. Ein neuerlicher Start des Suchlaufs beginnt
bei der zuletzt abgespeicherten Programmierung.

Automatischer Suchlauf
Alternativ oder falls sich weder bei der manuellen Programmierung noch bei der automatischen Programmierung
nach Marke der richtige Code für Ihr Gerät findet, können Sie den automatischen Suchlauf verwenden.
1) Schalten Sie Ihr Fernsehgerät, Ihren Satelliten-Receiver bzw. Ihre DVB-T/Kabel-Box (STB), Ihren DVD-/Bluray
Player bzw. Recorder (DVD) und Ihre Audiogeräte ein.
2) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (

)-, STB (

)-, DVD (

)- oder AUX (

)-Taste je nachdem, welche Ebene
Sie Programmieren möchten, bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.
3) Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten
den Code 1 0 0 1 für TV,
den Code 3 0 0 1 für STB oder
den Code 5 0 0 1 für DVD
ein. Die Signal-LED ( ) blinkt zweimal um zu bestätigen, dass der Suchmodus aktiviert wurde.
4) Halten Sie bei TV und STB die Standby-Taste ( ) bzw. bei DVD die Stop-Taste ( ) Ihrer m_4 so lange
gedrückt, bis sich das Gerät ausschaltet bzw. bei DVD die Wiedergabe stoppt. Dieser Vorgang kann mehrere
Minuten dauern.
5) Sobald das Gerät reagiert hat, drücken Sie zur Bestätigung der Programmierung die OK-Taste (

) so lange,
bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.

Damit Sie die Codes, die Sie per Suchlauf gefunden haben, ebenfalls vermerken können, lesen Sie diese mittels
Code-Abfrage aus:
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (

2) Geben Sie den Code 0 0 0 2 mit den Zifferntasten ein. Die Signal-LED ( ) blinkt erneut zweimal.
3) Drücken Sie 1und zählen Sie mit, wie oft die Signal-LED blinkt; dies ist die erste Ziffer.
4) Drücken Sie 2und zählen Sie mit, wie oft die Signal-LED blinkt; dies ist die zweite Ziffer.
5) Drücken Sie 3und zählen Sie mit, wie oft die Signal-LED blinkt; dies ist die dritte Ziffer.
6) Drücken Sie 4und zählen Sie mit, wie oft die Signal-LED blinkt; dies ist die vierte Ziffer.
Hinweis :
Bei Ziffer 0 blinkt die Signal-LED nicht. Die Schritte 3 bis 6 können in beliebiger Reihenfolge und beliebig oft
ausgeführt werden.
Lernfunktion
Alternativ oder falls sich weder bei der manuellen Programmierung noch bei der automatischen Programmierung
der richtige Code für Ihr Gerät findet, können Sie die Lernfunktion verwenden.
Die Lernfunktion kann auch verwendet werden, falls bestimmte Tastenfunktionen der Original-Fernbedienung in
der Datenbank nicht enthalten sind.
Positionierung der m_4 und Originalfernbedienung (Reichweitentest)
Um sicherzustellen, dass die Fernbedienung das Signal empfangen kann, sollten sich beide Fernbedienungen mit
Sendedioden zueinander gegenüberliegen. Der Abstand der beiden Fernbedienungen sollte nicht größer als 5 cm
sein.
Sie können für die Bestimmung der optimalen Position für das Einlernen der Codes den Reichweitentest
verwenden:
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (

3) Nun leuchtet die Signal-LED orange und zeigt Ihnen die Qualität der empfangenen Signale an.
Positionieren Sie nun die Original-Fernbedienung und drücken und halten Sie irgendeine Taste. Verändern Sie
den Abstand zur m_4 Fernbedienung bis die Signal-LED grün leuchtet.
Hinweis :
Oranges Leuchten zeigt Bereitschaft an, und dass die m_4 kein Signal empfängt.
Rotes Leuchten der Signal-LED zeigt an, dass das Signal zu schwach (zu weit weg) oder zu stark (zu nahe)
ist.
Grünes Leuchten der Signal-LED zeigt optimale Signalqualität (optimale Ausrichtung zum Einlernen).
4) Zum Beenden des Reichweitentests drücken Sie die zuvor gedrückte TV (
tv
)-, STB (
stb
)-,
DVD (
dvd
)- oder AUX (
aux
)-Taste.
Hinweis :
Die optimale Ausrichtung hängt von der Sendestärke der Original-Fernbedienung ab und kann deshalb für jede
Fernbedienung variieren. Führen Sie deshalb den Reichweitentest mit jeder Fernbedienung durch die sie
einlernen möchten, um dafür die optimale Ausrichtung zu bestimmen.
Lernen – Basic
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (

Funktionen Sie einlernen möchten, bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.

3) Nun leuchtet die Signal-LED grün.
4) Drücken Sie die Taste auf der m_4 Fernbedienung die Sie lernen möchten, z.B. Standby ( )
5) Die Signal-LED leuchtet orange und zeigt an, dass die m_4 Fernbedienung nun bereit zum Lernen ist.
6) Drücken und halten Sie die gewünschte Taste auf der Original-Fernbedienung so lange bis die grüne
Signal-LED erlischt.
Hinweis :
Oranges Leuchten zeigt an, dass die m_4 kein Signal empfängt.
Rotes Leuchten der Signal-LED zeigt an, dass das Signal zu schwach (zu weit weg) oder zu stark (zu nahe)

1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (

3) Nun leuchtet die Signal-LED grün.
4) Drücken Sie die Taste auf der m_4 Fernbedienung die Sie lernen möchten, z.B. Standby ( )
5) Die Signal-LED leuchtet orange und zeigt an, dass die m_4 Fernbedienung nun bereit zum Lernen ist.
6) Drücken und halten Sie die gewünschte Taste auf der Original-Fernbedienung so lange, bis die grüne
Signal-LED erlischt.
Hinweis :

Bedienung der Lautstärke-Funktion vom TV oder Satelliten-Receiver bzw. der DVB-T/
Kabel-Box (STB) oder DVD Player/Recorder
Standardmäßig werden die Lautstärke und Stummschaltung am Satelliten-Receiver bzw. DVB-T/Kabel-Box (STB)
oder DVD Player/Recorder bedient.
Wenn Sie die Bedienung dieser Funktionen am TV-Gerät wünschen führen Sie bitte folgende Schritte durch.
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV-Taste (
tv
), bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.
2) Geben Sie den Code 0 0 0 4 mit den Zifferntasten ein. Die Signal-LED blinkt erneut zweimal.
Falls Sie die Bedienung der Lautstärke-Funktionen wieder am Satelliten-Receiver bzw. der DVB-T/Kabel-Box
(STB) oder DVD Player/Recorder wünschen führen Sie folgende Schritte durch.
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV-Taste (
tv
), bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.
2) Geben Sie den Code 0 0 0 5 mit den Zifferntasten ein. Die Signal-LED blinkt erneut zweimal.
Tastensperre
Sie haben die Möglichkeit einzelne nicht benötigte Funktionen der m_4 Fernbedienung zu deaktivieren.
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV (
tv
)-, STB (

)-, DVD (

)- oder AUX (

)-Taste, je nachdem, welche
Funktionen Sie sperren möchten, bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.
2) Geben Sie den Code 0 0 0 6 mit den Zifferntasten ein. Die Signal-LED blinkt erneut zweimal.
3) Drücken Sie nacheinander alle Tasten deren Funktion Sie sperren möchten.
4) Zum Speichern drücken Sie die im Schritt 1 verwendete Ebenentaste.
Hinweis :
Die Ziffern- sowie die Ebenentasten können nicht gesperrt werden.
Hinweis :
Wenn Sie die Tastensperre wieder rückgängig machen wollen, setzen Sie bitte die Fernbedienung komplett
zurück. Siehe Funktion „Einstellungen löschen (Reset)“
Codesperre
Um eine versehentliche Programmierung der m_4 Fernbedienung zu verhindern, können Sie die Codesperre
aktivieren.
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV-Taste (
tv
), bis die Signal-LED ( ) zweimal blinkt.
2) Geben Sie den Code 0 0 0 7 mit den Zifferntasten ein. Die Signal-LED blinkt erneut zweimal.
3) Die Fernbedienung ist nun gegen eine Umprogrammierung gesperrt
Hinweis :
Sie erkennen die aktivierte Codesperre daran, dass die Signal-LED ( ) der m_4 Fernbedienung beim
Programmierversuch einmal lange und nicht zweimal kurz blinkt.
Hinweis :
Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 1 bis 3, wenn Sie die Codesperre wieder deaktivieren möchten.
Einstellungen löschen (Reset)
1) Drücken und halten Sie die TV-Taste (

ruwido m_4 universal remote control
We congratulate you on the purchase of a ruwido universal remote control. Your new remote control replaces the
original remote control of your TV, the remote control of your satellite receiver or DVB-T / cable box (also referred
to as STB in the following) as well as that of your Bluray or DVD player / recorder.
Read all instructions carefully and retain the instructions for reference at a later date. Further information and
additional instructions can be obtained at www.ruwido-consumer.com. If you have any questions you can call us
on the ruwido information line 00800 31133113 at any time.
You can program your remote control using the operating instructions and the associated code and brand list, via
the following methods:
a) by manual programming, by entering a four digit code from the code list,
b) by automatic programming, depending on the brand, by entering the three digit code from the brand list
c) by an automatic searching
d) or by programming the original remote control codes.
We recommend starting by using the manual programming method (a).
Inserting and replacing the batteries
Your m_4 remote control is powered by two 3-Volt lithium batteries (CR 2032). Insert the batteries in accordance
with the markings on the battery compartment. Please take extra care to ensure correct polarity. Dispose of the
old batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Note :
Your m_4 has an internal memory to make sure that the programming is retained after changing the batteries.
We recommend that you always use new batteries. Never combine old and new batteries because the
performance of your remote control and the service life of the batteries will be negatively affected.
General information
Your m_4 is fitted with a 5 second protection mechanism. When programming, you must press a button within a
period of 5 seconds, otherwise the remote control reverts back to its regular operating mode.
Note :
A short double flash of the signal LED confirms the input, a long flash indicates cancellation.
If you enter a code number incorrectly, press any key and wait for a long flash of the signal LED. You can then
continue entering according to the instructions.

Manual Programming
1) Switch on your TV, satellite receiver or your DVB-T / cable box (STB) and your DVD / Bluray player or recorder
(DVD).
2) Page to the brand of your appliance under „TV“, „STB“ or „DVD“ in the list of codes. One or more 4-digit codes
are displayed for each brand.
Note :
On our website www.ruwido-consumer.com you can use the code search function in the support area to enter
your set model number directly in order to obtain the appropriate code. This will save you having to test
several codes.
3) Press and hold the (

) button depending on the level that you would like to programme,
until the signal LED ( ) flashes twice.
4) Use the number keys to enter the first four-digit code from the code list for the brand that you have selected.
The signal LED ( ) flashes twice to indicate that the code has been accepted.
5) Test the functionality of your remote control using the standby button ( ) and then with the buttons 1 to 47
(according to the function description table).
6) If the equipment does not respond or only partially to the button commands, repeat the steps 3 to 5 using the
next code from the list of codes.
7) If the equipment responds properly to all functions, your m_4 is programmed correctly and can be used.

Alternatively, or if in case of manual programming the correct code for your equipment cannot be found, you may
use the automatic search for brand for programming.
1) Switch on your TV, satellite receiver or your DVB-T / cable box (STB) and your DVD / Bluray player or recorder
(DVD).
2) Page to the brand of your equipment under the relevant „TV“, „STB“ or „DVD“ section in the list of brands
given in the Appendix of this manual. There is a 3-digit brand code for each brand.
3) Press and hold the TV (

5) Use the number keys to enter the three-digit brand code from the brand list for the brand that you have
selected. The signal LED ( ) flashes twice to indicate that the code has been accepted.
6) For TV and STB, hold the standby button ( ) or, for DVD, the stop button ( ) of your m_4 pressed until the
equipment switches off or, in the case of the DVD, playback stops. This step may take several minutes.
7) As soon as the equipment responds, press the OK button (
ok
) to confirm the programming and hold it until
the signal LED ( ) flashes twice.
8) Test the functionality of your remote control using the standby button ( ) and then with the buttons 1 to 47
(according to the function description table).
9) If the equipment responds properly to all functions, your m_4 is correctly programmed and can be used.

equipment cannot be found, you may use the automatic search feature.

(DVD) and your audio equipment.
2) Press and hold the TV (

3) Using the numeric buttons, enter
the code 1 0 0 1 for TV,
the code 3 0 0 1 for STB or

2) Use the number buttons to enter the code 0 0 0 2. The Signal LED ( ) flashes twice again.
3) Push 1and count the number of times the Signal LED flashes; this is the first number.
4) Push 2and count the number of times the Signal LED flashes; this is the second number.
5) Push 3and count the number of times the Signal LED flashes; this is the third number.
6) Push 4and count the number of times the Signal LED flashes; this is the fourth number.
Note :
The Signal LED does not flash if the number is 0. The steps 3 to 6 can be carried out in any order and as many
times as may be required.
Learn feature
Alternatively, or if either in case of manual programming or with automatic programming, the correct code for your
equipment cannot be found, you may use the learn feature.
The learn feature may also be used if certain button functions of the original remote control are not included in the
database.
Positioning the m_4 and original remote control (Range test)
In order to ensure that the remote control can receive the signal, both remote controls should be placed opposite
one another with their transmission diodes facing each other. The distance between both remote controls should
not be greater than 5 cm.
You may use the range test to determine the optimal position for learning the codes:
1) Press and hold the TV (

) button depending on the level that you wish to

2) Enter the code 0 0 1 1 using the numeric buttons. The signal LED flashes twice again.

Now place the original remote control and press and hold any button on it.
Change the distance to the m_4 remote control until the signal LED lights up in green.

Orange light indicates readiness and that the m_4 is not receiving any signal.
If the signal LED lights up in red, it means that the signal is too weak (too far away) or too strong (too near).
If the signal LED lights up in green, it indicates optimal signal quality (optimal alignment for learning).
4) To end the range test, press the TV (

), STB (

), DVD (

) or AUX (

) button that had been pressed
earlier.
Note :
The optimal alignment depends on the transmission strength of the signals by the original remote control and,
hence, it may vary for each remote control. This is why you need to carry out the range test with each remote
control from which you would like to learn in order to determine the optimal alignment for it.
Learning – Basic
1) Press and hold the TV (

2) Enter the code 0 0 0 9 using the numeric buttons. The signal LED flashes twice again.

4) Press the button on the m_4 remote control that you would like to teach, e.g., standby ( )
5) The signal LED lights up in orange and indicates that the m_4 remote control is ready to learn.
6) Press and hold the desired button on the original remote control until the green signal LED goes off.
Note :
Orange light indicates that the m_4 is not receiving any signal.
If the signal LED lights up in red, it means that the signal is too weak (too far away) or too strong (too near).
7) You may repeat the steps 3 to 6 to teach (or programme) other buttons. To save and end the learning function,

If the buttons that have been learnt do not work properly with your equipment, or particularly if only every second

Operating the volume control on the TV or satellite receiver or the DVB-T / cable box
(STB) or DVD player / recorder
By default, the volume and mute controls are operated on the satellite receiver or DVB-T / cable box or DVD
player / recorder.
If you would like to operate these controls on the TV, please carry out the following steps.
1) Press and hold the TV button (

), until the signal LED ( ) flashes twice.
2) Enter the code 0 0 0 4 using the numeric buttons. The signal LED flashes twice again.
If you would like to restore the volume control functions again to the satellite receiver or the DVB-T / cable box
(STB) or the DVD player / recorder, please carry out the following steps.
1) Press and hold the TV button (

2) Enter the code 0 0 0 5 using the numeric buttons. The signal LED flashes twice again.

Disabling buttons
You have the option of disabling individual functions or features that are not required on the m_4 remote control.
1) Press and hold the TV (
tv
), STB (
stb
), DVD (
dvd
) or AUX (
aux
) button, depending on the function or feature that
you would like to disable, until the signal LED ( )) flashes twice.
2) Enter the code 0 0 0 6 using the numeric buttons. The signal LED flashes twice again.
3) Press all those buttons whose function or feature you would like to disable one after another.
4) Press the level button used in step 1 to save the results.
Note :
The numeric and level buttons cannot be disabled.
Note :
If you would like to enable the buttons that you have disabled, please reset the remote control completely. See
function „Delete Settings (Reset)“
Code block
In order to prevent inadvertent programming of the m_4 remote control you can enable the codes to be blocked.
1) Press and hold the TV button (
tv
) until the signal LED ( ) flashes twice.
2) Enter the code 0 0 0 7 using the numeric buttons. The signal LED flashes twice again.
3) The remote control is now blocked against reprogramming
Note :
You can recognise that the code block is active (enabled) if the signal LED ( ) of the m_4 remote control flashes
long once and not twice briefly when trying to programme it.
Note :
Repeat the steps 1 to 3 if you wish to disable the code block once again.
Delete settings (Reset)
1) Press and hold the TV button (
tv
) until the signal LED ( ) flashes twice.
2) Using the numeric buttons, enter the code 0 0 0 0. The signal LED ( ) flashes twice in order to confirm that
the m_4 remote control has been reset.
Note :
When you use the „Delete Settings (Reset)“ function, your m_4 remote control loses all its programming and is
restored to its condition at the time of delivery.

Merci d‘avoir choisi une télécommande universelle ruwido. Votre nouvelle télécommande remplace la
télécommande d‘origine de votre téléviseur, ainsi que la télécommande de vos récepteurs satellite et DVB-T /
boîtiers décodeurs (ci-après également appelés STB), et également celle de vos lecteurs / enregistreurs Bluray
ou DVD.
Lisez attentivement toutes les instructions et conservez ce manuel afin de pouvoir le consulter ultérieurement si

À l‘aide de ce manuel d‘utilisation et des listes de codes et de marques fournies, vous pouvez programmer votre
télécommande comme suit :
a) programmation manuelle en saisissant un code à quatre caractères de la liste de codes,
b) programmation automatique selon la marque en saisissant un code à trois caractères de la liste de marques,
c) avec une recherche automatique
d) ou bien avec l‘apprentissage des codes de la télécommande d‘origine.
Nous recommandons la programmation manuelle pour commencer.
Mise en place et remplacement des piles
Votre télécommande m_4 est alimentée par deux piles au lithium de 3 Volts (CR 2032 Positionnez les piles
conformément au marquage dans le logement prévu à cet effet. Veillez tout particulièrement à ne pas inverser la
polarité. Éliminez les piles usagées conformément aux prescriptions locales en vigueur.
Remarque :
Votre m_4 dispose d‘une mémoire tampon interne de manière à conserver votre programmation même lors du
remplacement des piles.
Nous vous recommandons de n‘utiliser que des piles neuves. N‘utilisez jamais simultanément des piles usagées
et neuves, sous peine de nuire aux performances de votre télécommande et à la durée de vie de vos piles.
Informations générales
Votre m_4 est équipée d‘un dispositif de protection de 5 secondes. Lors de chaque étape de programmation, une
touche doit être actionnée dans les 5 secondes, sinon la télécommande bascule à nouveau en mode de
fonctionnement normal.
Remarque :
Deux clignotements courts de la LED de signalisation confirment la saisie, un clignotement long indique une
interruption. Si vous vous êtes trompé en saisissant un numéro de code, appuyez sur n‘importe quelle touche et
attendez un clignotement long de la LED de signalisation. Vous pouvez ensuite poursuivre la saisie conformément
aux instructions.

Programmation manuelle
1) Allumez votre téléviseur, votre récepteur satellite ou votre DVB-T / boîtier décodeur (STB) et votre lecteur et/
ou graveur DVD / Bluray (DVD).
2) Recherchez la marque de votre appareil à la rubrique « TV », « STB » ou « DVD » dans la liste des codes. Un
ou plusieurs codes à quatre chiffres est / sont indiqué(s) pour chaque marque.
Remarque :
Sur notre site Web www.ruwido-consumer.com, vous pouvez indiquer directement le numéro de modèle de
votre appareil dans la zone de recherche de code de la section Assistance afin de trouver le code
correspondant. Ainsi, vous n‘avez pas besoin d‘essayer plusieurs codes.
3) Appuyez sur la touche TV (

5) Indiquez, à l‘aide des touches chiffrées, le code à trois caractères de la marque sélectionnée indiqué dans la
liste de marques. La LED de signalisation ( ) clignote deux fois pour indiquer que le code a été accepté.
6) Pour TV et STB, maintenez la touche Veille ( ) ou pour DVD, la touche Stop ( ) de votre m_4 enfoncée
jusqu‘à ce que l‘appareil s‘éteigne ou que la lecture s‘arrête pour le mode DVD. Cette opération peut durer
quelques minutes.
7) Dès que l‘appareil a réagi, appuyez sur la touche OK (
ok
) pour confirmer la programmation, jusqu‘à ce que le
voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois.
8) Testez le fonctionnement de votre télécommande avec la touche veille ( ) et d‘autres fonctions avec les
touches 1 à 47 (conformément au tableau de description fonctionnelle).
9) Si votre téléviseur réagit correctement à toutes les fonctions, votre m_4 est correctement programmée et peut
être utilisée.
Remarque :
Il peut arriver que votre télécommande m_4 trouve plusieurs codes correspondant à votre téléviseur lors de la
recherche, mais que toutes les touches ne fonctionnent pas pour tous les codes. Dans ce cas, vous devez
relancer la recherche (étapes 3 à 9) jusqu‘à trouver le code le plus approprié. La nouvelle recherche commence à
partir de la dernière programmation enregistrée.

Recherche automatique
Il est également possible, ou si vous ne trouvez pas le code de votre appareil ni en programmation manuelle, ni
en programmation automatique par marque, d‘utiliser la recherche automatique.
1) Allumez votre téléviseur, votre récepteur satellite ou votre DVB-T / boîtier décodeur (STB), votre lecteur et/ou
graveur DVD / Bluray (DVD) et vos appareils audio.
2) Appuyez sur la touche TV (
tv
), STB (
stb
), DVD (
dvd
) ou AUX (
aux
) - en fonction du niveau que vous souhaitez
programmer, et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu‘à ce que le voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois.
3) Avec les touches numériques, indiquez

le Code 3 0 0 1 pour STB ou
le Code 5 0 0 1 pour DVD.
Le voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois pour confirmer que le mode de recherche a été activé.
4) Pour TV et STB, maintenez la touche Veille ( ) ou pour DVD, la touche Stop ( ) de votre m_4 enfoncée

7) Si votre téléviseur réagit correctement à toutes les fonctions, votre m_4 est correctement programmée et peut
être utilisée.
Remarque :

Demande de code
Pour pouvoir noter les codes trouvés lors de la recherche, sélectionnez-les à l‘aide de la demande de code.

2) Saisissez le code 0 0 0 2 à l‘aide des touches chiffrées. La LED de signalisation ( ) clignote à nouveau deux
fois.
3) Appuyez sur la touche 1et comptez combien de fois la LED de signalisation clignote : cela correspond au
premier chiffre.
4) Appuyez sur la touche 2et comptez combien de fois la LED de signalisation clignote : cela correspond au
deuxième chiffre.
5) Appuyez sur la touche 3et comptez combien de fois la LED de signalisation clignote : cela correspond au
troisième chiffre.
6) Appuyez sur la touche 4et comptez combien de fois la LED de signalisation clignote : cela correspond au
quatrième chiffre.
Remarque :
Pour le chiffre 0, la LED de signalisation ne clignote pas. Les étapes 3 à 6 peuvent être effectuées dans n‘importe
quel ordre et aussi souvent que nécessaire.
Fonction détection
Il est également possible, ou si vous ne trouvez pas le code de votre appareil ni en programmation manuelle, ni
en programmation automatique par marque, d‘utiliser la fonction détection.
La fonction détection peut également être utilisée si certaines fonctions de touches de la télécommande d‘origine
ne sont pas indiquées dans la banque de données.
Positionnement de la m_4 et télécommande d‘origine (test de portée)
Pour s‘assurer que la télécommande peut recevoir le signal, les deux télécommandes doivent être placées avec
les diodes d‘émission face à face. La distance entre les deux télécommandes ne doit pas dépasser 5 cm.
Pour déterminer la position optimale pour la détection du code, vous pouvez utiliser le test de portée :

enfoncée.
Modifiez la distance avec la télécommande m_4 jusqu‘à ce que le voyant DEL vert s‘allume.
Remarque :
une lumière orange indique que la télécommande est opérationnelle et que la m_4 ne reçoit aucun signal.
Une lumière rouge indique que le signal est trop faible (trop loin) ou trop fort (trop près).
Une lumière verte indique une qualité de signal optimale (orientation optimale pour la détection).
4) Pour terminer le test de portée, appuyez sur la touche TV (
tv
), STB (
stb
), DVD (
dvd
) ou AUX (
aux
) pressée au
préalable.
Remarque :
L‘orientation optimale dépend de l‘intensité du signal de la télécommande d‘origine et peut donc varier pour
chaque télécommande. Vous devez donc effectuer le test de portée avec chaque télécommande que vous
souhaitez détecter afin de déterminer leur orientation optimale à cet effet.

1) Appuyez sur la touche TV (

5) Le voyant DEL orange s‘allume et indique que la télécommande m_4 est maintenant prête à détecter.
6) Appuyez sur la touche souhaitée sur la télécommande d‘origine et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu‘à ce que le
voyant DEL vert s‘éteigne.
Remarque :

Fonctionnement de la fonction son de la télé ou du récepteur satellite et/ou du DVB-T /
boîtier décodeur (STB) ou du lecteur / graveur DVD
En principe, le son et le basculement en mode silence sont commandés sur le récepteur satellite et/ou le DVB-T /
boîtier décodeur (STB) ou sur le lecteur / graveur DVD.
Si vous souhaitez procéder à la commande de ces fonctions sur le téléviseur, veuillez suivre les étapes suivantes.
1) Appuyez sur la touche TV (
tv
), et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu‘à ce que le voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois.
2) Indiquez le code 0 0 0 4 avec les touches numériques. Le voyant DEL clignote de nouveau deux fois.
Si vous souhaitez de nouveau commander les fonctions de son sur le récepteur satellite, sur le DVB-T / boîtier
décodeur (STB) ou sur le lecteur / graveur DVD, veuillez suivre les étapes suivantes.
1) Appuyez sur la touche TV (
tv
), et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu‘à ce que le voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois.
2) Indiquez le code 0 0 0 5 avec les touches numériques. Le voyant DEL clignote de nouveau deux fois.
Verrouillage des touches
Vous avez la possibilité de désactiver individuellement les fonctions inutiles de la télécommande m_4.
1) Appuyez sur la touche TV (
tv
), STB (
stb
), DVD (
dvd
) ou AUX- (
aux
) en fonction des fonctions que vous
souhaitez verrouiller, et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu‘à ce que le voyant DEL ( )) clignote deux fois.
2) Indiquez le code 0 0 0 6 avec les touches numériques. Le voyant DEL clignote de nouveau deux fois.
3) Appuyez sur toutes les touches dont vous voulez verrouiller la fonction les unes après les autres.
4) Pour sauvegarder, appuyez sur la touche de niveau utilisée à l‘étape 1.
Remarque :
les touches numériques ainsi que les touches de niveaux ne peuvent pas être verrouillées.
Remarque :
si vous souhaitez annuler le verrouillage des touches, veuillez totalement réinitialiser la télécommande. Cf.
fonction « Effacer réglages (Reset) »
Verrouillage des codes
Pour empêcher une programmation involontaire de la télécommande m_4, vous pouvez activer le verrouillage des
codes.
1) Appuyez sur la touche TV (
tv
), et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu‘à ce que le voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois.
2) Indiquez le code 0 0 0 7 avec les touches numériques. Le voyant DEL clignote de nouveau deux fois.
3) La télécommande est désormais verrouillée pour empêcher toute programmation.
Remarque :
vous détectez que le verrouillage des codes est activé car le voyant DEL ( ) de la télécommande m_4 clignote
une fois longuement, et non deux fois brièvement, en cas de tentative de programmation.
Remarque :
répétez les étapes 1 à 3 si vous souhaitez désactiver le verrouillage des codes.
Effacer réglages (Reset)
1) Appuyez sur la touche TV (
tv
), et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu‘à ce que le voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois.
2) Indiquez le code 0 0 0 0 avec les touches numériques. Le voyant DEL ( ) clignote deux fois pour confirmer
que votre télécommande m_4 a été réinitialisée.
Remarque :
avec la fonction « Effacer réglages (Reset) », votre télécommande m_4 perd toutes les programmations et se
trouve de nouveau dans son état de livraison.
Remarques concernant la protection de l‘environnement
