If you are unable to correct a fault yourself, please contact
our technical support directly.
Please note that improperly conducted repairs will void your
rights under warranty and may cause you additional
expenses.
Improperly conducted repairs may prevent your product from
working safely. Such repairs will endanger you and your
surroundings.
Press the lever (8) out of its notch, set the desired position,
and allow the lever to engage again. (Fig. 7)
Depending on the material being spread, the size and weight
of the grains vary. Humidity influences the grain size. For this
reason, it is not possible to give exact setting
recommendations.
Manufacturer’s information generally relates to 1m².
Determine individual settings as follows:
• Unfold a newspaper approximately approximately 1m² in
size, and lay it on the ground.
• Choose a narrow setting on the spreader.
• Run over the newspaper with the spreader, measure the
amount spread (e.g. on kitchen scales) and compare with
the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Setting values
As grass seeds in particular have different grain sizes
according to type and moisture content, a binding general
setting for grass seeds is not possible. Please however
remember that if you make one pass lengthways across your
lawn surface, and one pass crossways, double the amount
is applied.
Setting guidelines
• Lawn seed 2–3
• Fertiliser 3–4
