Il prodotto InoxSabiana 50 è un sistema poliva-
lente idoneo per essere utilizzato con caldaie a
camera aperta, stagna e affini alimentate con
combustibili liquidi, gassosi e solidi.
InoxSabiana 50 è idoneo all’installazione in si-
stemi di evacuazione in depressione asserviti da
generatori funzionanti con fumi secchi.
La serie InoxSabiana 50 comprende 6 differenti
diametri (da 350 a 600 mm) ed una completa
serie di accessori in grado di soddisfare ogni tipo
di esigenza di installazione esterna all’edificio.
Su richiesta, la stessa serie è eseguita con pare-
te esterna in rame.
L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere usato da
persone (bambini compresi) le cui capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte, oppure con man-
canza di esperienza o di conoscenza, a meno che
esse abbiano potuto beneficiare, attraverso l’inter-
mediazione di una persona responsabile della loro
sicurezza, di una sorveglianza o di istruzioni riguar-
danti l’uso dell’apparecchio.
I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per sincerarsi
che non giochino con l’apparecchio.
Il costruttore/venditore non può essere considerato
responsabile di eventuali pericoli o danni dovuti a in-
stallazione, funzionamento o manutenzione non corretti
dei sistemi camini Sabiana o dovuti alla mancanza di
conformità con le istruzioni del presente manuale infor-
mativo per l’utente o qualora non vengano effettuate
le ispezioni, riparazioni e manutenzioni necessarie.

SCOPO
The InoxSabiana 50 is a multifunction system
suitable for use with open flue or room sealed
boilers and the like, operating on liquid, gas and
solid fuel.
InoxSabiana 50 is suitable for installation in
negative-pressure exhaust systems served by
generators producing dry flue gas.
The InoxSabiana 50 series includes 6 different
diameters (from 350 to 600 mm) and a complete
series of accessories to satisfy all installation
requirements outside of the building.
Upon request, the same series can be made with
a copper outer wall.
This unit is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
The manufacturer/seller cannot be held liable
for any danger or damage due to the incorrect
installation, operation or maintenance of the
Sabiana system chimneys, due to the failure to
heed the instructions provided to the user in this
manual, or if the required inspections, repairs and
maintenance operations are not performed.

Each packaged element is affixed with the
identification label describing the brand, the
diameter and the quantity of material.
The insulated modules have a label showing
the direction of the flue gas, the certification, the
designations, the diameter and the date of
construction of the chimney.
This manual, the declaration of conformity and the
system rating plate must be provided with each
system supplied.
Once the element has been unpacked, check that
there is no damage and that the product supplied
corresponds to the requirements.
In the event of damage due to transport, contact
the reseller, indicating the series and the model.

Su ogni elemento imballato viene applicata l’eti-
chetta di identificazione riportante il marchio, il
diametro e la quantità di materiale.
I moduli isolati riportano un’etichetta con il senso
dei fumi, le certificazioni, le designazioni, il dia-
metro e la data di produzione del camino.
Questo manuale, la dichiarazione di conformità e
la targhetta impianto devono essere consegnati
con ogni fornitura.
Una volta che l’elemento è disimballato, control-
lare che non vi siano danni e che corrisponda
alla fornitura.
In caso di danni, dovuti al trasporto, rivolgersi al
proprio rivenditore indicando la serie ed il modello.

The material must always be stored in areas

Quanto segue è di estrema importanza per quan-
to riguarda le operazioni di:
- Movimentazione
- Immagazzinamento

- Manutenzione
- Funzionamento
• Tutto il personale coinvolto deve essere adde-
strato o istruito adeguatamente.
• Le responsabilità del personale vanno definite
in modo chiaro.
L’assemblaggio, lo smontaggio, l’installazione, gli
interventi, l’avviamento e la manutenzione del
sistema camino devono essere in conformità alle
leggi, alle norme, ai regolamenti, ai codici e agli
standard sulla salute e la sicurezza in vigore, e
alla più recente tecnologia.

La SABIANA non risponde in caso di danni pro-
vocati da modifiche o manomissioni al sistema
camino.
Qualsiasi modifica o integrazione al sistema che
possa compromettere la sicurezza necessita del-
l’approvazione della ditta costruttrice.
Lo stoccaggio del materiale deve essere sempre
eseguito in luoghi riparati dagli agenti atmosferici.

L’impilamento del materiale deve essere sempre
eseguito in verticale rispetto l’asse; mai impilare
i moduli in orizzontale. Impilare un massimo di 1
modulo d’altezza 1m, massimo 2 moduli d’altez-
za 0.5 m e massimo 4 moduli d’altezza 0.25 m.
Tutti i materiali utilizzati per la costruzione del
camino InoxSabiana 50 sono esenti da sostanze
tossiche e/o pericolose ed in particolare sono
esenti da amianto.

deve accompagnare sempre il sistema camino
in quanto parte integrante dello stesso

REGOLE FONDAMENTALI
DI SICUREZZA
in generale:
Gli interventi di installazione e le riparazioni do-
vranno essere effettuati da personale qualificato
ed esperto che sia a conoscenza di:
• Norme e regolamenti sulla sicurezza e la salute
• Codici e normative pertinenti
Il trasporto, la movimentazione e la manutenzio-
ne vanno affidate a personale specializzato o a
persone che abbiano ricevuto la formazione e le
istruzioni necessarie sul tipo di lavoro e sui rischi
conseguenti al mancato rispetto delle norme di
sicurezza.
per l’installazione:
Durante l’installazione, per motivi di sicurezza,
è necessario attenersi a quanto segue:
• Utilizzare sempre i guanti da lavoro
• La movimentazione degli elementi diritti da
950 mm deve essere sempre effettuata da due
persone.
• Gli argani e l’attrezzatura per il sollevamento
devono avere una portata sufficiente.
• Non usare argani e attrezzature di sollevamento
difettosi.
The material must always be stacked vertically in
reference to the axis; never stack the modules
horizontally. Stack a maximum of 1 module with
a height of 1 m, a maximum of 2 modules with a
height of 0.5 m, and maximum of 4 modules with
a height of 0.25 m.
All the materials used in the construction of the
InoxSabiana 50 chimneys are free from toxic
and/or harmful substances, and specifically do
not contain asbestos.

FUNDAMENTAL
SAFETY RULES
in general:
Installation and repairs must be
performed by qualified and expert personnel,
who are aware of:
• The health and safety standards and regulations
• The relevant codes and standards
The transport, handling and maintenance operations
must be performed by specialist personnel or
persons who have been suitably trained on the
type of work involved and on the risks deriving
from the failure to observe the safety standards.
For installation:
The following warnings must be heeded during
installation, for safety reasons:
• Always wear work gloves
• The 950 mm straight elements must always be
handled by two people.
• The winches and other hoisting equipment must
be suitably rated.
• Never use defective winches and hoisting
equipment.

• Corde, cinghie e simili strumenti per il solleva-
mento non devono essere annodati o venire a
contatto con bordi taglienti.
•
Non usare strumenti o attrezzi di sollevamento
in ferro nero.
• I carrelli elevatori, i montacarichi e le gru devono
avere una portata sufficiente.
• I carichi non vanno sospesi al di sopra delle
persone.
Si raccomanda inoltre di:
Non gettare o lasciare il materiale residuo dell’im-
ballo alla portata dei bambini perché potenzial-
mente causa di pericolo.

In caso di sostituzione di componenti richiedere
sempre ricambi originali.
Utilizzare sempre guanti da lavoro.
Nell’eventuale necessità di smontare il camino o
parti dello stesso, smontare per ultimi gli elementi
portanti.
Non aprire mai il portello d’ispezione con il gene-
ratore termico in funzione.

Ogni giunzione deve essere bloccata mediante
l’applicazione dell’apposita fascia di bloccaggio.
Occorre rispettare le distanze e le portate indi-
cate nel relativo paragrafo “Portate”.

• Ropes, straps and similar hoisting devices must
not be knotted or come into contact with sharp
edges.
•
Do not use black iron tools or hoisting equipment.
• The fork lifts, goods hoists and cranes used
must be suitably rated.
• The loads must never be suspended over the
heads of persons.
Furthermore, the following are recommended:
Never throw away or leave the used packaging
material within the reach of children, being a
potential cause of danger.
For maintenance and repairs
When replacing any components always use
original spare parts.
Always wear work gloves.
If needing to dismantle the chimney or parts of
the chimney, always remove the load-bearing
elements last.
Never open the inspection door when the heat
generator is on.
For operation
All joints must be secured by applying the special
locking clamp.
Observe the distances and the load capacities
indicated in the paragraph on “Load capacities”.

Stainless steel chimneys/flues should not be used
in environments where the atmosphere contains a
strong concentration of halogen vapours.
Consequently, careful attention should be paid
to chimneys/ flues installed in or near industrial
laundries, dry cleaners, printing facilities, beauty
salons, hair dressing salons or galvanising facilities.
In these cases, the warranty is not valid, and the
atmosphere that the combustion air is drawn from
must not contain this gas.
Furthermore, InoxSabiana 50 should not be used
with generators operating on solid fuel deriving from
agricultural-industrial sources (maize). If InoxSabiana
50 chimneys/flues are used with pellet heaters, the
pellets must be made from pure untreated virgin
wood sawdust (not containing any type of adhesive)
and manufactured in accordance with the O-Norm
(M 7135) or Din Plus (DIN 51731) standards.

section on “Technical specifications”.
OPERATING LIMITS
DISPOSAL
The consumables and replacement parts must be
disposed of in safety and in compliance with the
laws on environmental protection.
CERTIFICATION
The InoxSabiana50 series products come with the
CE mark, according to the European EN 1856-1:2009
standard, with the following designations:

In ambiente dove l’atmosfera presenta una forte
concentrazione di vapori alogeni, sconsigliamo
l’impiego di camini/canne fumarie in acciaio inox.
Pertanto consigliamo di fare attenzione a cami-
ni/canne fumarie installati presso, o nelle vicinan-
ze di lavanderie industriali, tintorie, tipografie, sa-
loni di cosmesi, acconciatura, zincatura.
In questi casi, per i quali decade la garanzia, si
dovrà utilizzare come aria comburente un’atmo-
sfera priva di tali gas.
Inoltre sconsigliamo l’utilizzo di InoxSabiana 50
a servizio di generatori alimentati con combustibili
solidi provenienti da attività agricole-industriali (mais
e granoturco). Qualora si impieghi InoxSabiana 50
a servizio di stufe alimentate a pellet, questi ultimi
devono essere costituiti da pura segatura di legno
vergine non trattata (senza alcun tipo di collante)
e realizzati secondo le O-Norm, (M 7135) o Din
Plus (DIN 51731).
I campi di utilizzo consentiti sono quelli riportati
nella sezione “Caratteristiche tecniche”.

tite nel rispetto della sicurezza e in conformità con
le norme di protezione ambientale.

Sequenza operazioni:
1. Controllare con attenzione il progetto al fine
di identificare le caratteristiche tecniche di uti-
lizzo. Verificare, controllando l’etichetta sulla
confezione o la marcatura sui moduli, che il
prodotto sia idoneo per l’utilizzo previsto dal
progetto.
2. Ogni elemento isolato ha una giunzione ma-
schio ed una femmina. Riferendosi al tubo
esterno, l’estremità maschio deve essere instal-
lata verso l’alto. Installare gli elementi secondo
il senso dei fumi seguendo la freccia indicata
sugli elementi isolati.
3.
Durante l’assemblaggio assicurarsi che la giun-
zione maschio entri nel bicchiere femmina per
tutta la sua lunghezza.
4. Installare la fascia di bloccaggio in modo che
racchiuda sia la bugna dell’innesto maschio
che quella dell’innesto femmina.
5.
Serrare la fascia di giunzione con un normale
avvitatore a stella.

Nell’installazione dei moduli è vietato espressa-
mente:
• Utilizzare i rivetti;
• Tagliare gli elementi in corrispondenza delle
giunzioni maschio o femmina (si compromette
la tenuta idraulica e meccanica tra i vari moduli);
• Vincolare in due o più punti il camino/canna
fumaria (anche la parete esterna) impedendo-
gli la normale dilatazione termica.

ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Operating sequence:
1.
Carefully check the design so as to identify the
operating technical specifications. Check the
label on the packaging or the marking on the
modules so as to ensure the product is suitable
for the use required by the design.
2. Each insulated element has a male and a
female joint. In reference to the outer pipe, the
male end must be installed upwards. Install the
elements in the direction of flue gas flow, as
shown by the arrow on the insulated elements.
3. During assembly, check that the male joint is
fully inserted in the female socket.
4. Install the locking clamp so as to close the
indentation on both the male coupling and the
female coupling.
5. Tighten the locking clamp using a normal star-
head screwdriver.
prohibited operations during installation
The following operations are prohibited during
installation:
• Using rivets;
•
Cutting the elements at the male or female joints
(this affects the fluid and mechanical tightness
between the various modules);
•
Securing the chimney/flue (including the outer
wall) in two or more points so as to prevent
normal thermal expansion.

The telescopic modules are not load bearing and
consequently must only be used in the sub-horizontal
sections or in the vertical sections underneath a support.
The steel pipes and accessories must only be
used with suitable equipment. Any oxidation must
be removed. To avoid corrosion by contact, the
stainless steel pipes and accessories must not
come into contact with other metals.

Le operazioni di verifica e manutenzione dell’im-
pianto di evacuazione dei fumi devono essere
eseguite esclusivamente da operatori qualificati
in possesso di requisiti previsti dalle vigenti norme
di legge.
Si parla di manutenzione straordinaria nel caso
l’intervento avvenga a fronte di un guasto o un
disservizio o di una riduzione di funzionalità e,
comunque, dopo qualsiasi periodo di inattività
prolungata.
manutenzione ordinaria
Ispezionare il camino periodicamente (almeno
una volta l’anno), mediante l’apertura del portello
d’ispezione, mediate la rimozione del terminale
o attraverso il terminale tronco conico posto alla
sommità, per verificare lo stato di conservazione
generale e controllare:
• La stabilità degli accessori di ancoraggio e sup-
porto e delle fasce di bloccaggio;
• Che non esistano sulla parete esterna tracce
di deterioramento e macchie provocate dalla
condensa;
• L’integrità della parete interna;
• L’assenza di depositi, alla base del camino, che
possono impedire il corretto deflusso della con-
densa;
• L’assenza di eventuali impedimenti al deflusso
dei fumi e che il terminale non sia ostruito da
nidi o altro;
• Smontare il canale da fumo ed accertarsi che
sia in buono stato;
• Non usare strumenti in ferro nero.
In caso di pulizia utilizzare, per la scavolatura,
spazzole in plastica morbida o spugne che aspor-
tino l’eventuale fuliggine senza graffiare la parete
interna del camino.

Ricerca delle cause del guasto mediante presa
visione generale dal manufatto e ispezione loca-
lizzata dei raccordi, deviatori, canali e comignolo.
Ripristino del funzionamento per sostituzione delle
parti dello stesso tipo e caratteristiche.
Controllo finale di verifica per quello che concerne
la stabilità (ancoraggi, tenuta fasce di giunzione,
supporti, tiranti), prova di tiraggio e verifica di as-
senza di reflusso dei prodotti della combustio ne
nel locale dov’è installato il generatore termico.

MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
The inspection and maintenance operations on the
flue gas discharge system must only be performed
by qualified operators with the requisites specified
by the legislation in force.
Special maintenance refers to operations performed
in response to a fault or a reduction in operation
and, in any case, after any period of extended
inactivity.
routine maintenance
Inspect the chimney periodically (at least once a
year), by opening the inspection door, removing
the terminal or through the conical terminal located
at the top, to check the general condition, and to
check:
• The stability of the anchoring and
support accessories and the locking clamps;
• That there are no traces of deterioration and
stains on the outer wall caused by condensate;
• That the inner wall is intact;
• The absence of deposits, at the bottom of the
chimney, that may prevent the correct drainage
of condensate;
• The absence of any impediments to the discharge
of the flue gas and that the terminal is not blocked
by nests or other objects;
• Remove the flue pipe and make sure that it is
in good condition;
• Do not use black iron tools.
When cleaning or sweeping, use soft plastic
brushes or sponges that remove any soot without
scratching the inner wall of the chimney.
unscheduled maintenance
Seek the cause of the fault by inspecting the
product in general, and specifically the fittings,
diverters, pipes and chimney pot.
Restore operation by replacing any components with
parts of the same type and with the same characteristics.
Final inspection on the stability (anchoring, tight-
ness of locking clamps, supports, tie rods), draught
test, and check there is no backflow of the products
of combustion into the room where the heat
generator is installed.
